Iphone 4s Clock Alarm wont switch off while in a telephone call
I have a Iphone 4s (5.0.1). If Iam in atelephone conversation and the clock alarm is activated, I cannot switch off the alarm. Terminating the telephone call, does not give me the option to cancel the alarm.
The only option I have is to terminate the telephone call, and power off/on the phone to reset.

My new Iphone 5 clock alarm isnt going off where I can hear it. Its started on my 4S when I upgraded to IOS6 and even on the Itouch too. I set the clock alarm, turn on sound (not silent), the alarm goes off, but no sounds comes out. I have to reset home to get it to recognize its off, but that doesnt always work, it did it on both my Itouch and Iphone5 I almost over slept this morning because never of them went off and woke me up. Same problem here. Me and my girlfriend swapped iphone 5's (she has white, I have black) in may and I rely on the alarm every morning to wake me up for work. It hasn't let me down.
A few days ago I set 2 alarms very early in the morning to wake me up for an early morning flight. Neither alarm made a sound & I missed the flight!!
We then swapped our phones back & she has just had exactly the same thing happen & has missed an important meeting at work. Again, quite an early morning alarm. The odd thing is I have a black iphone 5, also latest OS, never had this happen to me...
Has anyone solved this problem. I can't make it repeat (reset the same alarm for a different time & it goes off fine).
Does I need to buy her a dedicated alarm clock!?! -
Is there a way to turn my notifications off while on a telephone call?
Is there a way to temporary in off notifications while on a call? I do not want to turn if off completely just while on the phone. It's a bit irritating and distracting during business calls.
Use the mute switch. It's the slider just above the volume buttons.

Try holding the lock and the home bottom until the phone turns black when this happens let go of the home button but keep the lock button held down this will restart your phone ( u wont lose anything ) and then try turning it off again if it still don't work and your iphone is still under warrenty you can either call apple 01212601900 to book a genius appointment or you can do it online then just go in and they will help you resolve the issue or change your phone

does this happen to any of you??I think this is some type of bug. I have had this problem with my iPod photo and now my 5th gen. iPod.
It's most noticeable after ejecting the iPod from the computer. It takes a short while before you an turn the iPod off. Sometimes it will not turn off when viewing a video. So hit the menu button and start playing a song - then it will probably turn off. It's a bug because the iPod will sense the button press by changing the top porting of the display (toggling time etc..) but it simply won't turn off. I wonder if it's something to do with the hard drive spinning at the moment???

I have a 4g ipod nano. I went away for a month and left it at home unused, only to find when I got back it now wont switch off when I hold the middle button of the click wheel and stays permantly on. I have tried to restore and reset it, and yes, the hold button is off.

Well first, you're supposed to hold down the "play/pause" button to put the iPod to sleep. Try that and see if it works.
If that doesn't work, press and hold the select and menu button at the same time until the screen goes black/blank. This is a soft reset of your iPod. Your music will be safe. -
atleast once in a week the slide to unlock will not work in my iphone 4 and this is happening from the day i have upgraded to ios7. to access my iphone i have to a switch off and then switch on. really frustrating never expected this from Apple.

i recently took my old 4gig green nano to get replaced at apple and they took it off me and three days later i got the replacement(brand new caus my old one was under warranty) and i charged it and then i took it off the computer and then i started to listen to it and then i tried to switch it off, but it didnt (like my old ipod that i gave to apple) and now i want to know why this happenes. my ipod is fine, but just wont switch off sometimes. can someone tell me what to do?
