Iphone 4s connection issues on ios 7.0.4

Hello,
I've had this problem for a long time now, ever since I got my Iphone 4s. I have searched the forums but didn't find anything like that yet. My Iphone will have no problem connecting to my wifi or 3G at anytime. But what happens is that I can't go on any links on google chrome nor see anything that requires Internet (happens about 50% of the time, the other 50% of the time the Internet works fine). The way to fix this is to close all the apps first, then open google chrome again and then the links start showing. This gets very frustrating when I have to do this all the time and I hope there's a fix for this. Another example is the facebook app, it would open it, but I won't be able to see any pictures. Then i'll have to close everything again, then reopen facebook, then I'll start seeing the images again. I would not need to disable et reconnect to my wifi / 3G at any given time. I just need to constantly close all my apps to "refresh" the connection...

I've been having an iPhone 5s for a year and ever since i've updated to IOS 8.0.2. My iPhone touch screen has became unresponsive. It happens after i unlock my phone and it just gets unresponsive. It could happen after a few seconds of usage of any app or just messaging. It has become really frustrating. The only way I could get it back on working was to lock and unlock my phone.
I've tried restarting my iPhone, and ask restoring my phone with a new Set up. But the same issue arises.
The only thing i have not tried was to check if there was some connectivity issue inside the phone. My warranty was over end of september and I do not wish to pay for a replacement fee as It be a better option to get a new one.
My phone specs:
Iphone 5s 64GB Silver.
IOS 8.0.2
Memory Used35.3 GB

I Hope there's an fix for this. And hopefully it's the software problems.

IPhone WiFi connection Issue

After installing the 7.6.1 upgrade to my Air Port base station Time Capsule, my iPhone 4s and Lexmark printer can no longer connect via wifi. However my iPad1, MacBook Pro and Airport Express are all working fine. My iPhone will connect perfectly to WiFI at work so this excludes a problem with the phone. However at home it sees the network but after entering the password to join it attempts to connect and comes back with the following error. Ideas for resolving this dilemma are appreciated.

Located the solution on a post from December 19th 2011. It appears to be a comon problem with the Base station and iPhones. Changing my Base Station to Channel 3 resolved the problem. No additional issues created with other devices that were already connected. (Lexmark printer, iPad, laptop are all working on the wifi network) Harmony has returned to the universe...

IOSx 7.1.1 iphone wifi connectivity issue

Ever since I updated my iphone this Friday, my iphone keeps connecting and dropping the wifi connection. The update works fine on my iPad but not my iPhone

Try using Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

IPad connection issue after iOS 8 upgrade

I Have an iPad 3G - WiFi- and recently upgraded to IOS 8. Every since connection bounces from 3G to "no service" (AT&T provider). I have been able to get reconnected only by choosing "Reset Settings". I previously powered off and restarted with no resolution. Found article that mentioned this same issue but said it only was issue in iphone 6. Anyone else have a similar experience or easier solution? I rely on iPad for work and really need a solution that doesn't involve frequent resets....

I have been to Apple store twice now on this issue. We have tried all of the above suggestions-- restore, network reset, re-installing SIM card-- and the problem always returns. The Genius Bar tech told me the IOS update brought out a latent problem hidden in the firmware -- in other words, it is a problem caused by Apple, but not everyone experiences this problem. The tech also told me there was nothing more that could be done, short of buying a new ipad. I asked about going back to the earlier IOS version but she said Apple will not allow that at this point. So it sounds to me like a "forced obsolescence" thing that Apple has inflicted on me: they admit their update brought out a problem, previously unmanifested, which had always been lurking in their firmware-- but their solution is that I need to ditch my ipad 2 and buy a new ipad. I never had this type of issue before the upgrade. the problem is more of a nuisance/inconvenience than anything else, because it can be rectified by powering down every few hours, so it's not worth it to me to spend hundreds on a new ipad. And anyway if this is an example of their customer service I'm not sure I will stay with Apple when it finally is time to buy a new tablet.

IPhone WiFi Connection problem solved (ios v 6.1.2)

I recently spent time going through a verry irritating problem with my iphone... I installed a new router at home and initially all was well... my LAN connection worked... my wireless connection was strong and it took no time to get my AppleTV, iPad and my sons iPad running on the wireless network.... Then I tried to get my iPhone (4) to log on to the network.... it appeared to find the network... accepted the password.... and nothing.... I tried:
Turning Wi-Fi off then on again
Restarted the router
Reset network settings on the iphone
Forgetting the network & inputting the password again
Turned off the iphone and restarted it
Restored the iPhone
restarted the router, again...
Eventually I decided to look at how the router was setup... so, in a browser I entered the router address: eg. 192.168.#.###. Then I went and did a reset on the router... and Voila ! the iPhone as well as all of the other devices now find and work with the Wi-Fi network...

Bluetooth car kit connectivity issue after IOS 8.1.2 update

After the IOS 8.1.2 update I cannot connect my IPhone with the Bluetooth car kit (hands free) system of my car.
Before the update connectivity was perfect, after the IOS 8.1.2 update the car kit does not find the IPhone any longer.
To solve this issue I deleted both the car kit and the IPhone from the paired devices list of both (my car and the Iphone) and tried to pair them again - no success. The car kit just does not finds the Iphone any longer.
Please, help!!!

Just to share the way I finally solved the problem - might be helpful to somebody else.
I didn't noticed before that the IOS 8.1.2 update changed automatically the name of my Iphone from the one I've given to it before to just "Phone".
I re-named the Iphone (just gave a new name to it by going to Settings -> General -> About -> Name) and then the car kit managed to find the phone very quickly via Bluetooth.

Just want to ask if IOS 6.0.2 is better than IOS 6.0.1?
Recently, i noticed that my iphone 5 will disconnect the wifi connection after a while when not in use (standby / sleep mode_10 mins). When first bought, the phone was perfect.
Sometimes it will auto sycn back to wifi and sometimes not. IOS 6.0.2 software update on my phone states that it will fix the wifi issue but also heard negative issue such as the battery drain its power source very fast.

It's because your phone will pick up LTE and then it'll lose it. What you need to do is turn off the LTE (until the service is better, more available) and you won't go in and out of service.
Go to Settings > General > Cellular > Enable LTE - OFF

IPhone 5s wifi issue after iOS 8.0.2

iPhone is getting disconnected with my wifi where as my other devices are not . Even when the wifi signal is full with nice internet speed im experiencing very slow wifi connection. As my iphone 5s is new i would like to know is that my iPhones fault or iOS fault !! please help me out!

Call connection issues since iOS 8.1 update

Ever since the iOS 8 update on mine & wife's iPhones (5s & 5c) we have had nothing but issues with receiving various phone calls, even with the newer updates with bif fixes etc the problem persists. We have tried to remedy it by turning off the 4g option as we heard this was a solution but no change. Same with wifi also. It's not a network problem as we have a very good signal. Like I said we have had this problem from the moment iOS 8 arrived, we're now on iOS 8.1, still no change. Does anyone have a clue to fix this?

Same issue here, both my boyfriend and I updated our iPads and iPhones to 8.1, now FT crashes constantly, when we try to FT from iPhone to iPad we just get "connecting" and nothing happens. If we do iPhone wifi to iPhone cellular we get same "connecting" problem. If we do iPhone to iPhone and enable cellular it connects. When we do iPad wifi to iPad wifi it connects but then crashes constantly. I have tried ft with others who have not done the updates and it works fine Using the same Internet connection. We have switched to skype to video chat and it works just fine, so it can't be an Internet issue.

IPhone 5s connection issues with iTunes, mail, internet

Recently (yesterday), my phone stopped receiving new email on my multiple accounts (gmail, yahoo, etc.) I would open the mail app on my phone and get multiple pop up windows saying, "Cannot Get Mail, The connection to the server failed." I had similar trouble when I then tried using other apps that use the internet, Safari, facebook. Keep in mind that both my mac book pro and device are connected to my wi-fi network. My mac book pro can access the internet and receive mail. I thought maybe connecting my device to iTunes would help, however my device can not be recognized by iTunes. Upon connecting my device via USB iTunes would immediately say "Itunes cannot connect to this iPhone. Could not connect to this device." I then turned on my iPhone only to see a window saying "Trust This Computer? Your settings and data will be accessible from this computer when connected" I selected Trust multiple times but this keeps poping up.
Any help would be greatly appreicated.

This sounds like you may be experiencing a self-assigned IP address. Try power cycling your router and testing the results. If the issue persists, I would recommend going through all of the steps in the article below.

Iphone 6 connectivity issue

I have a new iPhone 6. Had a 5s before. Still have it. Had the same issue with both. I work in an office that does not get an ATT signal in my office. When I leave the office and go to where there is a good signal, I have an issue with both iPhones where it could connect to the carrier signal quickly or take up to 8 minutes to finally get a signal. I also have a blackberry that when I do the same thing, the blackberry connects to the signal immediately. I've called apple about the issue and they said it's a carrier issue and reset network settings or do a restore. I've reset network setting several times to not avail. Don't believe it's a carrier issue as the blackberry does not exhibit this behavior.
Anyone else see anything like this? Any ideas on what might be happening or anything to fix this? Thanks.

Ya, airplane mode is an option but it shuts all the radios down including WiFi. I need WiFi for imessage and email. I have used airplane on and off to regain signal and it works immediately. Just not something I should have to do or think about to regain signal quickly.

How to troubleshoot iphone 5s connectivity issue with iTunes on Windows 7

When I connect my new iPhone 5s to my Windows 7 home edition PC with the latest version of iTunes, the PC recognizes it. From My Computer I can see a new item "iPhone", which can be opened to show internal storage (photos). However iTunes never sees my phone. If I run diagnostics from iTunes it reports that no devices are found. In the meanwhile, my iPad can connect and get recognized by iTunes without any problem.
What is missing?

Okay I found the solution - I'm still surprised this actually worked - which is to connect the phone through a powered USB hub. That's it! iTunes finally wakes up and syncs my phone!
