Iphone 4s disconnecting and then calling someone else

I have read the posts about iphones calling random numbers while sitting untouched, but mine is doing something more bazaar.
While i am on the phone with someone, my iphone 4s will disconnect that call and then call a random person from my contacts. Is there a way to stop this from happening? i have upgraded the phone to iOS7, but it did this before the upgrade too.

I need to update this. It did not do this before the iOS7 update. sorry for the confusion

    Recently I erased an iPhone 3 so that it could be passed on and used by someone else, using the erase all content and settings feature. This has killed my iPhone and it is now stuck on the Apple logo. I have tried a restore in iTunes but recovery fails. This is not a jailbroken iPhone. Anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?

    If you haven't already tried, see if you can force it into recovery mode to restore it:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808.  If that doesn't work, the last thing you can try is to put it in DFU mode to restore it: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2648467?threadID=2648467&tstart=0.

  • Iphone keeps disconnecting and reconnecting

    Greetings,
    I spent nearly 3 hours this afternoon figuring out why my iphone crapped out after upgrading from 2.1 to 2.2. I actually had a problem upgrading after the first update to the iphone firmware as well (on the first update way back in july/august, miraculously it just started working after about 2 hours of messing with it). I would get strange error codes such as the ones in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275 such as error codes 2, 4, 5, 6, 9, 13, 19, -18, -48, -50, 1002, 1011, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1608, 1609, 1611, 1612, 2003, 2004, -9808
    Problem:
    I would try and run the 2.2 update but it never successfully finished because my iphone would reconnect and then disconnect shortly thereafter. It would stay connected from anywhere between 10 seconds and 5 minutes. Naturally, 5 minutes was just enough time to give me hope, only to have my iphone bricked and forced me to do a restore.
    Problem was, I could not do a restore because since the phone was disconnecting every so often, nothing would work.
    I uninstalled and reinstalled my USB drivers according to http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538 but with no dice. It did not work.
    I also uninstalled iTunes and all associated applications according to this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925
    My system is a P4 2.4 GHz with Windows XP SP2 and 2GB RAM. Motherboard is an Asus P4PE.
    Solution:
    What finally fixed my issue was disabling the USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller in the device manager. To do this:
    # On the Start menu, click Control Panel.
    # In Control Panel, open Administrative Tools. Note: If you don't see Administrative Tools, look at the left column in Control Panel for a link that says, "Switch to Classic View," and click it.
    # Double click the Computer Management shortcut.
    # In the left column, click on Device Manager.
    # In the right column, click the plus icon next to Universal Serial Bus controllers to expand this selection.
    # Right click on "USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller" and choose Disable.
    Unplug iphone from system. Reboot your system.
    Now launch iTunes, wait a minute or so, and plug in your iphone.
    Voila!
    No more reconnecting and disconnecting. I was able to restore and copy my data from my last backup. Unfortunately I did lose several pictures I had taken on my camera as I did not manually back those up like I usually do. Since I had so many problems updating my iphone you would think I would have remembered to back up all my photos BEFORE I did the update...
    Anyway, I hope this helps someone out there that may have a similar setup to mine.
    BTW, the actual chipset USB drivers I have are Intel 82801DB/DBM USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller - 24CD on my P4PE motherboard.

    Hi! Wow am I glad I found your post. I had the issue with the iPhone disconnecting/reconnecting. It is infuriating. I couldn't figure out what to do, but when I disabled the same USB 2.0-enhanced host controller that you disabled, my syncs seem to work fine.
    The problem is that this also disables USB 2.0. I don't really want to do that. Can anyone comment on why this works and if there is alternative? Are there alternative drivers for USB 2.0 that might work?
    Thanks!

  • I want to send a response from the servlet and then call another servlet.

    Hi,
    I want to send a response from the servlet and then call another servlet. can this happen. Here is my scenario.
    1. Capture all the information from a form including an Email address and submit it to a servlet.
    2. Now send a message to the browser that the request will be processed and mailed.
    3. Now execute the request and give a mail to the mentioned Email.
    Can this be done in any way even by calling another servlet from within a servlet or any other way.
    Can any one Please help me out.
    Thanks,
    Ramesh

    Maybe that will help you (This is registration sample):
    1.You have Registration.html;
    2.You have Registration servlet;
    3.You have CheckUser servlet;
    4.And last you have Dispatcher between all.

  • Can i buy an iphone in US and then use it in India with Indian Networks

    can i buy an iphone in US and then use it in India with Indian Networks

    Asked all the time here. If officially unlocked, yes, the phone will work in India. Officially unlocked iPhones are only sold by Apple in the US...no where else. Currently, the only unlocked model available is the T-Mobile labeled iPhone.
    Your warranty/support will only be valid in the US...they won't touch the phone in India if you have any problems or issues. And, the phone will most likely not support LTE in India.

  • How can I store a form name with path and then call form from a table

    Is it possible that any form that I built I store that form in some table in DB and then call that form from table, if yes, then how can i get this functionality. I am not very experience in form and do not know if it can be done because i think if it is possible then this can be a good security for application and easy to handle as well.
    Thanks in advance
    Maz

    If you have a Forms block based on this table:
    declare
      module varchar2(100);
    begin
      module := :block.column;
      call_form ( module ) ;
    end;If you don't have any blok based on that table
    declare
      module varchar2(100);
    begin
      select  module_name
      into module
      from ...
      where ...
      call_form ( module ) ;
    end;Francois

    My daughter is going to Canada for a week and i would like to know if it will cost extra for her to text and/or call someone in the United States?

    http://businessportals.verizonwireless.com/international/traveling_to/North_America/Canada.html
    69 cents a minute for calls, texts covered under an existing texting plan or the standard pay per text rate if you don't have one.
    If you're traveling in Canada, contact Customer Service at 800-922-0204 from any landline phone.
    Global Picture and Video Messages are billed at the same per-message rate as though they were sent from the U.S. Accordingly, you can send/receive Picture and Video Messages with customers of:
    Verizon Wireless (domestic rates/bundles apply)
    Other domestic carriers (domestic rates/bundles apply)
    Canadian, Mexican and Puerto Rican carriers (domestic rates/bundles apply)
    Select International carriers (global rates apply)
    When sending or receiving there's an additional data transport charge billed at the destination's Data Pay per Use Rate multiplied by the size of the Picture or Video, which can vary greatly.
    A data network is required to send picture or video outside the U.S. See the Data Roaming List for eligible destinations.
    Attempts to send Pictures or Videos are charged, even if the delivery fails.
    Text Messages sent or received while in Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands are billed as though you were in the U.S.
    Check out our Nationwide plus Canada plans if you frequently call or travel to Canada.

  • BPM: send 2 different files to same folder and then call RFC

    Hi Gurus,
    I need the design of this BPM:
    2 files are pulled from an FTP site, and both placed in an SAP folder (no mapping required). Once both files are placed, then I will need to call an RFC.
    I think in BPM for this:
    2 receiver steps (for both files) --> 2 sender steps (for both files) --> 1 transformation (for RFC mapping) --> 1 sender (for RFC)
    Am I ok with this?
    The only concern is that as the first receiver step starts the process, then for a mandatory reason I don't know I need a correlation on the second. Can I avoid this? how?

    Good idea with the dummy correlation.
    Does anyone know if I can use only 1 sender CC and get both files and then call the RFC only once?

  • Hi, I use facetime regularly with my parents who live outside US and it stopped working. Their ipad2 rings,says connecting..and then 'call failed'. Upgrading their iOS5 (or 6) is not a option as my parents do not know to do this. Please help

    Hi, I use facetime regularly with my parents who live outside US and it stopped working. Their ipad2 rings,says connecting..and then 'call failed'. Upgrading their iOS5 (or 6) is not a option as my parents do not know to do this. I came across forums where this issue is mentioned on apple support and cnet.
    Is there another option apart from upgrading ?

    Well, in his defense, his parents bought him the player so I guess we can't blame him. Though the 6 GB versions were available in November so I guess they really did get 'nervous' about Christmas and like to get their shopping done early! Kudo's to you for trying to remain with the Creative line but for what you're looking for it's obviously not the player for you. Creative seems to be fine-tuning their line for the audio crowd. I'm into mp3 players for the audio. Sure, the ability to watch video's and look at pictures on a decent screen is a plus but for me at least, it's all about the music. And with music, 6 GB is more than enough. Heck, 8 GB would have been more than enough for me. I'm a subscriber to Napster-to-go, so I don't feel the need to carry 00 plus GB of stuff on my portable player. I honestly don't understand the desire to watch movies or TV shows on tiny little screens. But you're also talking to a guy who doesn't watch television. What a complete waste of time and brain cells. Probably the **competitor products we can't discuss here** or one of those players would better suit your needs. Companies are definately picking their niche markets carefully and Creative's decision to not offer hard dri've players any more seems to definately be saying bye-bye to that market. I can't say I blame them. Hard dri'ves eventually give up the ghost and are quite delicate for people on the go. Good ridance, I say. Let Apple, Zune and all the others cater to the Z generation's need to be spoonfed their video/TV addictions anywhere and everywhere. I'll pass. It's one thing to be able to enjoy some music on the go and enhance an otherwise dull work day or dri've. But movies/TV shows at work, school, or wherever? Please. Cut the cord! Just my $.02 - YMMV! My iphone suddenly closed itself but continued heating. Now it cooled down but I cannot open it. I have ejected the sim card and inserted again but it doesn't work anyway. Also, computers do not recognise the phone and nothing shows up on the screen.
    What should I do next?
    Thanks fellas..

    If your iPhone is still under the warranty I would contact Apple support and browse the replace or repair section. Because of the incident the iPhone should be repaired free of charge.

  • Best way to send files like photos wireless from Macbook to iPhone/Ipad? And Then vice versa?

    What are the ways to send files like photos wireless from Macbook to iPhone/Ipad? And Then vice versa?

    Just one comment on this:
    ‘If I have, say, an older version of iPhoto but a newer version of one on my new Macbook Pro, will it still transfer photos no problem?’
    the problems are ALWAYS in the reverse way, when you have the newest (or a newer) version of a given app, and wish to transfer its library to an older version.
    Otherwise, see the link to Pondini.
    I have been using Martin Jahn’s iBackup, with which I have become accustomed and works fine. It also makes daily backups. Its advantage over other apps is that you may add whatever you wish to save, beside its default settings (which you may delete or cancel, of course, even if not recommended); it also has a friendly interface and easily customizable. Of course, this is a personal view, you may try other methods as well, or other backup apps. All are good if you are satisfied and correspond to your needs.
