IPhone 4S freezing

Hello, my iPhone 4S freezes everytime I watch a video and even sometimes when I look at pictures... I've tried everything I could think of and have read... Reboots don't work at all, at least I don't think so... The reboot will restart the phone but will have the same problem if I try a video again.... Please help!

You might need to try a backup and restore through itunes to clear the problem once and for all...

Iphone keeps freezing when I am going to end a call.

My Iphone sometimes freezes when I make phone calls on it. This only happens at the end of the phone call but it is really frustrating because I cannot hang up the call. I called my service provider and they told me it was because of the clear screen protecter I put on my phone. Could this be possible or are they just making this up to get me to quit complaining?

My iPhone is freezing all the time

Ever since I upgraded to the 2.0 software my iPhone has been freezing upwards of 10 times a day... i only have 5 apps, and I still have 2GB of space on my 8GB
Is there anything I can do to stop my iPhone from freezing... also, when i try to reset it, the reset only sometimes works.

Try to restore it... I'm hating this iOS 5.1, everything was working much better before it was released. I shouldn't have upgraded...

When you restore, you can restore from backup or as new.
Did you or did you not restore it?

IPhone 4 freezes and will not restart or restore using iTunes.

iPhone 4 freezes and will not restart and cannot be restored using iTunes (unknown error 1602). My daughter's iPhone 4 did the same thing 10 days ago. Is this a software glitch? I replaced her phone, but I'm ready to switch to Android.

I am using Sophos Antivirus, but after disabling, still no luck. Tried the other USB port; no luck (same 1602 error). I'll take it to the Apple store tomorrow, but if they recommend replacing the phone I'm switching.
I went through this ~15 years ago when the Apple OS got so buggy and unstable that I had to abandon PowerBooks and switch to Windows. Oddly enough, this was after Jobs left the first time. I hope history isn't repeating itself.

Ok, so I am one of the many who have suffered from my iPhone 4 freezing, restarting and/or locking up on me.
I have combed through the discussion threads searching for a fix but never found one that was proven to work. Things like hard resets, restoring from backup, restoring from new etc... People would claim one of the above fixes worked only to return to the thread minutes, hours or days later to report that the problems had started again.
I understand that the fix that worked for me may not work for everyone, but I'm sure it will work for some. It is a simple fix that I have not seen mentioned in any thread and thought it would be worth sharing.
Fix: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
My iPhone 4 was either freezing, restarting or locking up on almost a daily basis, sometimes several times a day. Since resetting my settings almost a week ago, I have had no problems!
It is the simplest and least inconvenient fix I have seen, so it's worth giving it a shot!

My iphone 4 just started to warm up and the battery is draining quick. Closed everything and reset to no avail. Turned off bluetooth, increased push time and checked location settings for new applications. Weather Doodle was a bit suspicious as it had a purple direction indicator next to the setting. The only other new app I installed was Lego instruct. I disabled one of the 4 mail accounts I had that is having network difficulties, went to airplane mode and still I see %1 drain every 10 or 15 minutes. I'll remove the new new apps and reset to see if it is related to the new apps. If that doesn't work, I'll try email account reset at home wifi and see if that fixes the issues.

IPhone 3G freezes and resets after a minute or so w/ wifi on internet

My iPhone occasionally freezes whenever i do a http://i.dslr.net/tinyspeedtest.html on wifi. It works sometimes and other times it will freeze after being stuck on calculating for a while. This only happens on wifi, or so it seems. I only used to check on my edge/3g then i got wifi, now sometimes it freezes. Any way to prevent this?

The problem seems to have come from my wireless transmitter (to my wii). I hit a few buttons on it and the problem solved itself. Why would an outside product over-ride my macs internet sharing? No idea, but it's solved for today at least.

Did you try resetting it to factory settings? If not, try that and then set up as a new phone and not from backup. That's what Apple support had me do. Unfortunately that did not work for me. I ended up having to get a replacement. It should be here tomorrow.

Why is my iPhone 5 freezing since the last software update?

My iPhone 5 started to freeze after the last software update for iOS 7.1.
It started shortly after when I noticed my timer would freeze and I wouldn't be able to turn it off once the alarm sounded at the end. Usually I can reverse the freeze by pressing the off button.
However, this morning I visited several webpages embedded in emails and after about the 5th webpage, the phone locked and the last webpage I visited lightly flashed and kept recycling. Pressing the off button didn't help this time. I finally plugged it in to recharge and after an hour or so, it returned to the normal menu settings after putting in my password.
The problem seems to be getting more frequent.
Has anyone else had problems with their iPhone 5 freezing?

Thanks for the suggestion but I tried that first and it didn't bring up the apple logo as it should have.
I haven't tried "restore" yet but I guess that will be my next move when it freezes again.
(Several friends have mentioned their iPhones are freezing now too after the last software update so this problem could get bigger.)

Iphone 5c freezes while texting

My iphone keeps freezing while texting for about 15-20 seconds. Especially if I go back to correct a text and move the cursor. I've tried resetting all settings and problem is still persisting.

Did you try restarting your phone? Do you have space left on your phone or is it close to the limit? (this tends to make phones slower). Is it happening only when you text or also when you search something on Safari or send a tweet or anything?

Try resetting it. Hold down the on/off button at the top right and the home botton at the bottom at the same time for abour 5-15 seconds. This will not affect your data. The cycle the iPhone back on. That should clear up the problem

My iphone is freezing now, almost every time i open an app. Started today.. I updated it a few days ago when ios 7.1.1 was released.

Troubleshooting steps are:
TROUBLESHOOTING
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears then let go.
Backup, reset, restore on icloud or iTunes or restore as new.
Place the phone into recovery mode by doing this
If this fails to fix the problem make an appointment and visit and Apple store or an authorised service provider
