It's me again!
I think I've located the problem (at least in my case). I use a ringtone program called iToner 2 and that is what's apparently causing a conflict and syncing issues with my iPhone. I installed my ringtones from iToner 2 and the sync issues re-occurred. After deleting my iToner 2 ringtones, I was able to sync again.
My guess is that some application that you are using that works in some way with iTunes or your iPhone is what's causing the sync issues. I would suggest finding that particular application and not using it until it gets updated to work with iTunes 10.5 and iOS5.

HT1245 iTunes gets stuck when syncing contacts
Hi! My iTunes always gets stuck after checking "Sync Contacts With" checkbox so I can't even start syncing Google contacts... anyone else having the same problem?
my roomate has the 1st gen and I have the 2nd gen of ipod touch. I sync both with everything in my itunes folders. I too am not and only now having troubles after i upgraded to itunes8.1. It syncs all but any new pictures and continues to read syncing. I'm not sure what to do.I'm sorry to say I have a computer and not all that computer savey. I really haven't had and troubles until now with my Ipod syncing, I really could use some help If any one can help.

I have the same problem when connecting my iPhone 5
IOS 7.1.2
and my ipod touch.
I never had any issue connecting and manually upload or delete music with iTunes.
Both players not get iTunes stuck once connected to my macbook pro.
I have installed windows parallel, but this problem happens regardless windows is on use.
Any solution to this? The software is updated.
ThanksYou will need to bring the iPhone and cable to Apple for inspection. Only after they inspect it will anyone be able to determine if this will be covered by warranty.
Generally damage is not covered by the warranty only materials and workmanship.

IPhone 3GS gets error when syncing after installing ios6
I just updated my iPhone 3GS to ios6, and it appears to have added a ton of Gigs to the phone. I've been trying to take apps and other things off the phone, but I'm still over my limit. And, after several syncs, I got the following error message:
The iPhone "(name of my phone)" cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred (1156).
Anyone have a solution? I'm not eligible for an upgrade until next spring because the 4S I purchased last fall was stolen and never recovered. Right after I left the store. Sigh. So I'm stuck with this one for now. Any help is greatly appreciated.Restore your device as NEW (not from backup). If that doesn't work, then you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

When making a call, sometimes, my iPhone 5 , gets stuck on 'Calling' than I have to press END..but still nothing happens, than when I press HOME button, the call app keeps running in the background and it keeps saying CALLING... than I have to wait 2 - 3 minutes and call again.

You all just sold us a bad piece of equipment and have us by the tail with our contracts so none of us can get a new phone without paying full price or re-upping our contract. I just got off the phone last night with your high up tech people (you know, the hidden number we get once we tear into your support people enough), they went into my phone again and still didn't find anything wrong. Whenever i try and send an imessage to someone that has an iphone it gets stuck at times and won't go through. I then have to send it as a basic text and then it will respond message failed to send what should i do when it does this i need help
The use of iMessage depends on both the sender and the receiver having an active data connection. If either of the two connections are interrupted, the message can fail. The sending of an iMessage differs from the sending of an SMS, and if you are having SMS failures, that would be a carrier concern.

Trouble syncing iphone to Itunes; gets stuck at syncing calendar
I am unable to successfully sync my iPhone 4 with iTunes version 11.1.4.62 on my desktop. It gets through 2of7, but gets stuck in various places on 3of7. First time it got stuck on 'preparing to sync', so I rebooted my phone and computer. Now it goes a little further and gets stuck on 'syncing calendar'. I've tried 3 times and 1 hour later it's still stuck.
The same thing just happened today only more dramatically with my iphone 3g with itunes 9. Previously everything synced beautifully. Now it deleted all the music and won't let me put it back. It won't let me sync all automatically, sync some manually, or drag and drop. Doesn't seem to matter if I try to move purchased music or ripped cds.
I tried rebooting both the phone and the computer (cold boot). I tried moving some songs to a new playlist and selecting that manually. Nothing worked. The music is still there in itunes . Podcasts don't seem to be affected by the problem, luckily. Audiobooks disappeared once but it let me put them back.
Checked the orange "other" and it is a small amount, one of those little blocks, but I supposedly have 3.26 gb free. The only thing that has happened recently is I ripped about 12 CDs but there's nothing remarkable about that.
Any suggestions welcome. -

IPhone 5 gets stuck in screen-off mode
iPhone 5 (iOS: 6.1.4)
Recently (within past 2 months) I've noticed that my iPhone will get stuck in the screen-off mode.
I'll be using the phone normally. I'll push the screen-off button (top right button). Then later, (whether it's 1 minute or an hour) when I go to turn the screen back on by either pushing the 'Home butoon' or Top right button, nothing happens.
I'll push and push and push both buttons. All I get is a Big Fat Nothing.
Sometimes if I leave it for a minutes, then push the button, it comes on. Other times it doesn't.
It is becoming more frequent. The most recent time was tonight. After trying to push buttons. Then trying to just wait it out, I pushed and held Both buttons together. It then began going through the boot up sequence.
I don't know if by holding down both buttons, it restarted on it's own, or if it was something else. But I know that the phone was not off.
Does anyone know what the problem is? I know it's not the proximity sensor. It's definitely something else.

While under warrenty, take it in for a Genius Bar appointment and have them give you a brand new one.

1. There's a problem in the 0.6.18 new python paraminko ssh internals that was preventing it from uploading more than about 1GB at a time, possibly because it's reusing the same ssh connection which some webhosts will kick off after a certain time or amount.
2. The --num-retries parameter wasn't being read by the ssh backend
3. There's a bug in some encryption validation code that had to be removed before a 'resume backup' operation would work correctly (it won't read the GPG encryption key correctly).
So I reverted to 0.6.17 and removed a previously applied patch from the code found here.
So far it seems to be working. The dev who answered me on Launchpad said that there's a memory leak with 0.6.17 so watch out when doing any backups over ~100GB or so.

My iPhone is getting stuck for a few seconds everytime I do something, if i type a letter it will type it twice or a few times, if i click to close the browser it stucks there for a few seconds before closing, if i try to open some app it gets stuck there.
I have restored it and loaded the backed up material again. But this problem doesnt seem to go away. Sometimes it is too much sometimes it is not noticeable, so what exactly could be wrong and what ALL should I do to get it fixed? Please reply.Thank you. You are very kind. First I backed everything up, then restored as a new phone, and then i couldn't see the contacts, the contacts were not restored when i restored as a new phone. So in order to get the contacts I restored from the backup but then the same problem happened again.
What I meant to saw was that the probelm disappeared when i restored as a new phone, but it reappeared when i restored from the backup. So is there a way to just somehow get the old contacts when the phone is restored as a new phone. All I need from the current phone is the contacts to be there when I retore as a new phone.

I'm having the same issue on the 3Gs. I get a message "an error occurred while backing up this phone (-43)." It tells me if I continue the contents of the phone while be deleted. Is it safe to continue and restore from my current backup? I can do a manual backup without any issues.

IPhone 4 get stucked in animations in iOS 7.0.3
Hi everyone,
Since updating to iOS 7.0.3 my iPhone 4 get stucked in the transitions when:
- From lock screen, use de camera. The lock screen moves up a bit and then get stucked at some point
- In desktop, when using control center, it get stucked at some point when is moving up, it doesn't fully spread all the way
- Sometimes, when navigating between desktops, it get stucked in the middle of them.
I have made restoration and load my iPhone copy, everything is still the same?
Any other person with this issue?

One Flash CC project gets stuck when publishing in IOS. It will quickly publish as Android, and other projects will publish as IOS. Not sure what to change.

I've recently stumbled on an article on how to view the packaged file (apk) published using AIR 3.2 for Android setting (Adobe Flash CS6). All you need to do is change the extension of the file from (.apk) to (.rar) or (.zip) and extract the file as you would with any other zip or rar file. I was able to confirm that the packaged file (apk) indeed contain all the videos for the presentation. I have more than 80 videos in the presentation. All videos included in the package are of the same video format and resolution (FLV 320x240) but of different duration. I intentionally included the all the videos inside the package so I can use the presentation anywhere and anytime without the need to connect to the internet. The packaged apk file size is (1.23GB) the file includes the project's swf and xml file, the component swf and videos.
When installed to android I noticed that the package remained as an apk file. Not really sure if android temporarily unpacks it when you run the app.
Testing phase:
I see no problem when I'm testing the project on my desktop computer. But when packaged and installed on my device the problem arise.
Problem:
I'm able to install and run the app on my device but wont play some of the videos included in the package.
Was this due to the limited RAM or processor of my android device?
I wanted to distribute the presentation to friends so i was trying to package it for easy access and installation on their device.
Alternative Solution:
I installed a third party app called SWF player by BIT LABS. Copied all the files to my device (the project's swf and component swf with the videos). The project worked like a charm the player (SWF player) and was able to run the presentation as if it was running of my desktop. All buttons and videos working properly. Although the alternative solution worked for me I still wanted to package the presentation for easy access and distribution to friends.
