IPhone 4S - iOS 5 - Something is wrong, phone is autocorrecting every single word... Can i reset the feature?? HELP!
iPhone 4S - Is anyone else experiencing strange behavior by the autocorrect? it's trying to autocorrect every single word... for instance "is" corrected to "OS". ***? it's happening on every single word!! Can i reset the feature?? HELP!
I have been an iPhone user since the first iPhone. In fact, i was first in line in 2007 at the Boston Apple Store at Chestnut Hill Mall.
I've never experienced such strange behavior by the autocorrect feature. Granted there is the occasional annoying autocorrect, but this is out of control. I can't even make it through a sentence without getting frustrated and wanting to throw the brand new iPhone 4S accross the room!
Someone please help!!!
OOPS!! This is a case of user error..
I turned on a couple keyboards looking for the Emoji keyboard last night... So my assumption is that the "keyboards > language selection" is linked to the dictionaries the system uses for autocorrect? Well, whatever the case, I turned everything off except English and Emoji and that seemed to correct the problem.
If anyone else is having a blond moment, like me, consider user error first. LOL

Connect your USB cable to your computer but not to the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch until step 3.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button down, connect the USB cable to the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen. When this screen appears, you can release the Home button:
Note: If the image of a battery appears, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again. If you don't see the Connect to iTunes screen, try these steps 1 through 4 again.
iTunes should automatically open and display the following message:
"iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes."Note: If iTunes not open after two minutes, please open iTunes yourself.
Use iTunes to restore the device.

How can I reset the feature find my iPhone after using it?

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. If you haven't got notifications muted then try inserting and removing the headphones again -

The song is playing on background, so when I need to access something, I go and type my password, and the song goes backwards, or it completely changes songs / artists. Sometimes it just stops for less than a second, and starts playing again, normally.
What's happening?I experienced such behavior few times (also on 4S). It's especially annoying when you listen audiobooks. I think it's a bug, and at this moment there's no remedy for it - at least I haven't found it.

A computer illiterate friend created 3 accounts on his iPhone 5 but forgot the passwords. He can't reset the password as his yahoo address is no longer valid. Erasing the phone doesn't solve the issue as the Apple server identifies the hardware as registered. How to register the phone with Apple?
I helped him create a new email address and new iCloud account on my Mac but when we try to register the phone with Apple it says: Maximim accounts limit reached for this device. How can he register the phone? I read different threads and found out that only Apple care can do that. We're in Romania and don't know where to call. Hi I recently purchased a new mac computer and would like to sync the music off my iPhone to my new mac.However, my phone and my new mac have different apple Ids.The PC which my phone is synced and has the same apple ID but does not let me transfer the music. What do you mean the PC won't let you transfer the music? Save your entire iTunes folder (this is assuming that you have all your music stored in your iTunes folder) to an external hard drive. Connect that hard drive to your Mac. Copy the iTunes folder to your computer. Hold down the option key while launching iTunes on your Mac. Select the library you just copied when it ask you to select which library you want to open.

I set up a passcode to ensure the security of my iPhone 5 but, when I enter it on the home screen, I repeatedly receive an error message and my phone locks. Is there a way to reset the passcode when I am unable to gain access to my phone?
I figured that was the case, but I've used the same passcode for years and I can't seem to figure out how I managed to screw it up when I set up my phone. Without being able to access my phone for a restore, how would I accomplish this? iTunes? Thank you very much for you help!

See if working on the main disk is any faster.
USB2 is glacial, as I/O interconnects go. And USB2 disks have been known to fail, or sometimes to drop back to USB1 speeds, too. FireWire 800 is substantially faster than USB2, but still not as fast as the internal drive connections can provide.
Put another way, start varying your configuration, and see which configuration changes (still) have the problem, and which don't. -
How do I transfer contacts from an Android to an iphone 6? I have backed up everything to Verizon Cloud but I can't get the two phones to pair up?
The problem is non compatible devices. You could go to a Verizon corporate store and they could try to transfer them, however many customers stated this has resulted in loss of contacts. They don't guarantee a transfer.

I have lost my Iphone and never activated my Icloud on my phone. Is there anyway of locating it whereabouts??? Also Who ever has my phone has downloaded find my phone. Is there anyway Apple can find out the address that was downloaded from??
Unfortuantely, you can only track the phone if you had set up iCloud and enabled Find My iPhone on it before it was lost or stolen. I don't believe there is anything that Apple can do to locate your phone either.
