3G network is going to shutdown after voice call.
Bad news guys.
My stuff doesn't work anymore.
No WIFI and i don't for Bluetooth.
I've reinstaledl the 6.1.2 using iTunes with the 4S as new but that was not a good idea ... Maps of my coPilot can't be downloaded because no wifi.
Apple take a quick action to solve this issue ... iPhone is one of my professional tools ... If no solution by the end of next week ... Bye bye iOS and welcome Android ...
PS: no problem with 6.1.2 on my iPad 2 WIFI.

I have an iPhone 4S and never had a problem with syncing it. But suddenly, when I connected my phone to my mac, it says that its in recovery mode, and I need to restore it in order to sync. I've updated both my phone and my itunes, and it didnt work.Help?

No, it does not. It transfers purchases from the iDevice to the computer. The computer must be authorized for the Apple ID that the content was acquired with.

Hi! My My mom bought me an iPhone 5 and I have a problem with my facetime. I cant find it! Cant find it in settings and restrictions. I remember when she gave me this I see facetime in settings and after a couple of days its gone! She bought this in Bahrain both my iPhone and her iPad Mini. Are you trying to use the phone in Bahrain with a supported carrier there? I suspect not. If you try to use this phone outside of Bahrain, you won't have FaceTime. This is done to prevent folks from simply crossing the border to purchase iPhones in Bahrain...FaceTime is banned in Saudi Arabia & the UAE. Sorry, but you'll only have FaceTime on that phone while using it in Bahrain on a supported carrier's network there.

Under the answer you want to mark as correct you should see a box that says Correct with a green symbol to the left and a box with Helpful with an orange star to the left. Click on the one you want.

I just started using my iphone 5s. I have a problem with new incoming emails from my POP account. Why are they marked as read automatically even though I have not even opened them yet.
At first I thought it might be because I was using simultaneously my old iPhone 4S so it somehow realized the emails where being pushed to another device and the it marked as read, this has nothing to do since I have deleted the email account from the iPhone 4SContact the email provider for assistance with their service.

Hi, since most recent update (IOS 5.1.1) to my iphone 4s, I am experiencing problems(ONLY SINCE MOST RECENT IOS 5.1.1.UPDATE) with my 'iluv' IMM173 DUAL DOCK ALARM CLOCK DOCKING STATION.
Every time I connect my iphone it causes the docking station to crash/freeze and become totally non-responsive. However, if I remove my iphone, then connect my wife's
iphone 4 (IOS 5.0.10) The docking station then syncs time and date as normal with the iphone, and reverts back to function normally.

From the locked screen, swipe the camera icon upwards to open the camera app. This is a new feature in 5.1. -
IOS 6 wifi connectivity problem with iPhone 4s
After recently updating both my iPad 3 and iPhone 4S to iOS 6, I began to have problems with my wifi connection on my iPhone. When trying to connect to my home wifi, the iPhone seems to connect but then brings up the "Log In" screen with an Apple website loaded saying the page cannot be found. However my iPad, again also recently updated to iOS 6, has no problem connecting to wifi. Has anyone else experienced this conflict and is Apple working to correct this? My router is a standard U-Verse "2 wire" device. I have performed all the quick fixes I could think of such as restarting the router, restarting my phone etc. please help!
I have a similar fault with my Lexus ct200h fsport, updated to ios 8.1.1 on my iphone4s 64, and the bluetooth sometimes disconnects during calls then re-connects again (by this time the person on the end has hung up) .but bluetooth audio works fine. very frustrating!!

Iphone 4 battery sometimes drains fast -- problem with Mail app?
My iphone 4 battery often drains too quickly, and I wonder if it has something to do with my Mail App.
When my phone is not playing nice, it drains at least 20% overnight while on Standby, and from 100% to 30% in around 6 hours when I use it during the day. I found a fix (http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=11775150) that basically says to wipe your mail account and set it up again.
This fix works, but only temporarily for me. I find that I have to keep resetting my mail every few days to get back to "normal battery" where it barely drains overnight. I only use one email account (gmail) -- could there be something going on there?
Oh, and when my battery drains fast, nothing changes when I turn off WiFi, notifications, push, etc. I usually have my mail refresh hourly.

IOS 5.1 bluetooth problem with LG HBS-700
After upgrading to iOS 5.1, my LG HBS-700 bluetooth headset still plays music from my iPhone, but the music controls no longer work (play/pause, next/last track). The phone functionality (start/answer call) still works. Is anyone else having these sorts of problems? I 'forgot' the device and re-connected it, but that did not correct the problem. I suspect its in one of the sub-functions of bluetooth signalling, but I'm not familiar enough with the standard to correctly designate it (I suspect someone in Apple knows it off the top of their head ._. )
Thank you.Oddly enough I didn't have any problems with the HBS-700 on my iPhone 4 running IOS 6. However I got an iPhone 5 recently and noticed today the exact same thing you describe. Call and volume controls work fine, but I have no control at all of any music playing. This totally *****, but I have no idea if its a problem that Apple needs to correct or a problem with the LG which would mean it can't be fixed. Totally frustrated.

ThanksiPhones bought in the USA are usually locked to the carrier and can't be unlocked. so, if you are using another SIM than the original one, your phone will be locked again to this original carrier after the update.

Iphone 5 ios 6 text messaging problems
I just purchased a new Iphone 5 ios6 Everything seems to have gone smoothly however there is a major problem with test messaging. it is intermittent.
At times I can get or receive a text from either another Iphone or another android or non smart phone. Then the phone cannot receive texts and the phone will indicate a sent text and I can watch the send bar and it verifys in green that the message was sent yet the reciever says no message received. This occurs whether I am using wifi or the verizon network. I have tried this locally in the house over my wifi to my wifes phone or to my sons Iphone. It does not work. I have soft started using the on/off power and home button simultaneously for the required 10 seconds - no changes. i have reset network settings nope, I have shut off imessaging, I have deleted all text messages, then tried, nope. I have used siri, voice recognition, typing for the text messages, nope. I have sent pics and text pics only text only nope. I have talked to a verizon tech who reset the network on her end nope. ( then we lost the connection - this was a land line discussion while I was making the restart network on my iphone)
I do not know whether this is a verizon ios6 ihone 5 bug so if I do not get a resolution quickly verizon can take back the iphone 5 and pay me for the lost time and business. I had no problems with my other phones which were not iphones!!!!

I was having issues that some people on my contact list just weren't getting my texts. I could text them before I got the iPhone and they received them no problem but now it wouldn't go through. Like you the phone said it went through but they never received them. I could receive their texts and even if I replied to their texts, they didn't receive it. I could call them though. I contacted Verizon and Apple but they we no help. What I figured out on my own was that if I deleted their contact from my address book and added it back in fresh, the problem was solved. It's happened to me with 4 different people that were in my contacts already and I deleted them and added them back in and it works fine now. What I believe was happening was I came from a non-smartphone. To transfer my contacts over I downloaded Verizon's contact transfer app on my old phone and uploaded them to it. When my new iPhone 5 came in I downloaded the same app and used it to transfer my contacts to my new phone. I think some of them got corrupted for some reason during the process. I don't know for sure if this is what was happening but since non of the new contacts that I added in after I got the iPhone have any problems I'm guessing I'm right. My concern still is that I will continue to find people in my address book that wont' get my texts and I just won't know it for sure. Good luck!

IOS 7 Filtered Pictures Problem with iPhoto/Aperture
When I take a "filtered" picture with my iphone 5/iOS 7 it comes out fine. And when I look at the image either in the camera roll or in Photo Stream on any of my devices it still looks "filtered". However, when I open up Photo Stream on my iMac in either Aperture or iPhoto it is just a normal "non-filtered" shot. Anyone have any ideas of why this is happening?

IOS has many features teh the Mac does not and the Mac likewise has many features that IOS does not
If you want my guess it is that the next version of OS and iPhoto 9if there is one) will address this - for now it is waht it is and it has nothing to do with iPhoto for the Mac - it is a new feature on IOS 7 - will it becone a new feature on the Mac - maybe - maybe not - my guess is yes - but until it does it is only available on IOS devices - not an unusual situation
