IPhone 4S Music Library Not Appearing in iTunes 11?

Since iTunes 11 has come out, I have had trouble seeing the music I have in my iPhone 4S. I can't see my playlists or anything on my iPhone & I was able to on the previous version of iTunes. Any help on what is going on or how I can fix this problem or bug?

Music does not appear in iTunes after consolidation and xfer to E drive

I followed the instructions listed on the web site for xfer of the music to an external hard drive. After I did the consolidate portion, the music did not show/appear in the e drive folder created for the music. The music does not show in iTunes now. I have not deleted anything since I can't see music in the e drive folder.
I am currently copying the music from the older folder to the newer folder to see if this helps.
Where does the consolidated music go?
Can it be shown in iTunes at all now that it has been consolidated?
Will pod sync now since music does not appear in iTunes?
Any help or information would really be appreciated.

Rather than move individual files you might want to move the whole collection:

Quick answer if you let iTunes manage your music: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Start iTunes with the option (shift on Windows) key held down and guide it to the new location of the library.

My music will not appear in iTunes

I recently downloaded the newest version of iTunes. Now when I go to open iTunes on my desktop all of my music files have disappeared. When I look on my hard drive, I can see my music files stored in the iTunes folder but for some reason they are not appearing on iTunes. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Aperture - Album from Shared Library Not Appearing in iTunes

I have a recurring problem which is making Aperture downright useless.
I operate a shared Aperture library (shared between 2 users on the same iMAC) which resides in the 'Shared' Users folder. Obviously we cannot have the same library open at the same time -that's no problem. I have set the sharing properties for the library contents and folders to Read and Write for both of us.
The problem is that when I add photos and create a new Project ad Album to put them in (not worried about the other user at the moment), these don't show up in the Aperture album or project list in Photos in iTunes to sync to my iPad or iPhone.
I have this very minute added a new album, closed Aperture and made sure its written to disk. Then I have closed the iTunes app and made sure it has quit.
Then when iTunes loads up again and I connect my device - the library and project do not appear in the items to sync.
This happens all of the time and it's making Aperture pretty pants. If the only resolution is to rebuild thumbnails, rebuild XML file etc or any more of that - then its not fit for purpose.
Has anybody a long term permanent fix for this?
It's seriously doing my head in!

Bumping this up as it seems that nobody has any idea.

IPhone 5 Music ratings not Syncing with iTunes

Had this problem for a while now and cant find anything searching the forum...
I used to be able to rate (4 stars/5 stars etc) a new song that I recently added to my iPhone and then when I later synced with iTunes on my pc the same ratings I placed on my phone, would then also appear in iTunes on my pc. I dont know why it's not doing it anymore, its really annoying me!

UPDATE: My Ipad2 works and syncs fine!! . .only the new iphone 5s do not sync!!

Adding Music Does Not Appear In iTunes

Ok found another problem with this new update of iTunes 7.1 on my windows vista.
When I go to ad a new music folder to iTunes it does not appear in my list infact even one song will not appear in my list that I have stored on mt secound hard drive.

I don't seem to be getting a response to this is it just me experincing this issue ???

I may be a bit dumb but for some reason the "music" tab at the top of my itunes account does not exist. I have the "home", "app store" "books", "podcasts" and "itunes u" and that's it - no "music" option. How do I purchase music from itunes for my iphone?

I believe that you cannot buy music from the iTunes Store in Israel. See this table, which was last updated on 26th June 2012:

One possible reason for this may be because Apple has not yet reached agreement with the rights holders (the owners of the music) to sell music in Israel.
You cannot simply change countries to get round this isuse. You can only buy from the iTunes Store country that your credit card is registered in. You will have to stick with buying CDs and importing them into your iTunes Library instead.

Purchased itunes music does not appear in itunes since reinstall

Its my wifes ipod, I had a fatal HD crash, had a recovery service retrieve all the data. As I am now rebuilding my pc again I did a fresh install of itunes, then replaced the itunes folder from the new instal on C:drive with the retrieved folder on an external drive. It seemed to populate all the nusic (68 G) but as I a looking through itunes the purchased music playlist is empty and I know She purchased a lot of music.. What do I do? Also should I be sure she does not auto synch before this issue is resolved>

You can make 2 smart playlists to find the files
Kind contains purchased (this will show itunes plus content)
Kind contains protected (this will show non-itunes plus content)

I had to reinstall OS X on my computer, and when I updated iTunes, none of my purchased music was there. That goes for a credit balance I have also. When I check the info for my account, some previously purchased music is there, but not the most recent and the credit balance is still missing. Have any ideas what I should do to correct this? Library not appearing. Itunes really laggy

Hi guys, I just got a new macbook pro and I was trying to get all of my songs over to iTunes. The problem is, when I try to put any song into iTunes, it just straight up doesn't work, no matter what the file type is. Also when I select movies (which is empty so the tutorial pops up) and then try to open up my library it remains on the movies window even though the music one is selected on the menu on the left.
iTunes is the latest version and I've already removed it completely and tried a fresh reinstall of the program. I have my whole library in Music>iTunes>iTunes Music but it doesn't show up in the program itself

Unplug your Iphone out of your computer and replug it back in. It took me several times before I could do this

Yes, I am signed in to iTunes match on the macbook pro, iPhone , & iPad (all updated & correct music libraries) where I bought all the tunes but still no updated tunes on the iPhoto music library after 3 days of being on iTunes match.

Nope, it either needs to be plugged in or turned on with the power button.
A replacement iPhone 4 is $149, but at least the whole phone is replaced.
