Iphone 4s new handset is damaged when opened from pack

The new iphone4s handset is damanged when opened from pack. The phone was ordered online. What is reson for the same, is it due to lack of quality check.

I suggest you take that up with the carrier that delivered the package. They are responsible for delivery and if it was damaged in delivery, they are responsible. If it doesn't seem the damage occurred because of shipping damage, then contact Apple, describe the problem and they will advise you what to do. Things happen, however, since we are users here just like you we cannot tell you how to handle the situation. I certainly can't tell you the reason it was damaged.

Small Window when opened from UWL

We are using HCM Form & Processses and our forms is approved by multiple levels
We notice that when forms are opened from Universal worklist, the window to view form appears in a 1 inch box (Impossible to view) This is also specific to certain users.. Most of other users see the form is launched in a window where we can see the content clearly.
Has anyone faced / resolved such issues? What in client machine can control the window size when opened from UWL?

Forms Opening is Very slow when opened from Client PC's.

All,
We are running forms application in 10.1.2.0 application server. We have a peculiar issue of slowness while opening forms from client PC's and not while opening from application server itself.
1) When opening the form from a Windows 7 PC it takes around 25 seconds
2) When opening the form from a Windows XP PC it takes around 15 seconds
3) When opening the form from the application server itself it took less than 3 seconds .
In essence all forms when opened from application server are opening very fast and when opened from client PC's it takes undue time. What might be the reason for the same, can anyone help us and we are pondering over this issue for some time. What are the files of interest to be visited for these kind of issues. We enabled tracing level 5 in JRE and could not find any thing fishy over it.
Request application server and forms experts to participate and help us to resolve.

Even if it's a generic issue you need to break it down in smaller parts to actually get a clue what's causing your problem. By now there is nothing we can rule out as the only thing we know is that it's slow on the client PC's.
Building a small dummy form as suggested by Andreas is a good starting point. If the performance is also bad for a small form with one block you can rule out that it has anything to do with forms and it's caused by e.g. your network. If the small form performs well rebuild one of your forms step by step and do tests for each step. By that you should find what's causing troubles.
What you can also take a look at are network roundtrips: You have to set the console window of your forms, and enable networkstats in your formsweb.cfg
networkStats=yesA typical cause for (unnecessary) roundtrips are e.g. calls to the synchronize built in or timers. If you are using Javabeans you should also take a look at them. If you are looking at your network traffic wireshark is your friend ;).

Transferred iTunes library from pc to new mac, iTunes ; however, when opening iTunes on mac it reports the library was created with a newer version of iTunes and won't open.

Url used to show in the url box when opening from a shortcut or email, but now it's not there. If I refresh the page it is. How do I get this back the way I like it?

The url of the website that I'm visiting used to show in the url box when I opened from a shortcut or email. But not it's not there unless I refresh the page. I've looked and haven't found a way to set this so that it works like it used to. I liked being able to click in the address bar and copy the link, or even to look there and see where I am.

I'm unable to check it in safe mode because the only time it happens is when I click a link and have not firefox open. For example if I would click a link in my email right now, it would open in another tab and show the address of the link I clicked. But if I didn't not have this window open and clicked alink, it would open a new window and I wouldn't be able to see the url.

I have just installed Photoshop CC on my new Windows 8.1 OS computer and when I try to open one of my RAW files into Photoshop from the Photoshop 'open file' menu item I can only see file icons rather than the thumbnail pictures that are in the folders? I can view the thumbnails just fine from Bridge but not when opening directly from Photoshop? I can view all jpg's but no RAW files (both Canon and Sony RAW). I tried installing the Microsoft Camera Codec for Windows 8.1 but it won't install - error message says "not intended for this operating system" in spite of the fact that it explicitly states it is for Windows 8.1? Any ideas on what to do to be able to view the thumbnail images?

Lion 10.7 - application switches spaces when opened from finder

I am using Lion 10.7 , I assigned dreamweaver to desktop1 by choose Options > This Desktop when in desktop1. Then relaunch DW and it correctly opened in desktop 1. Now if i open a file using in finder (which is itself assigned to desktop3) on a file that is default to DW then Dreamweaver moves itself to Desktop3.
I thought the point was that we could assign different applications to different spaces and they would stay that way. Are we saying that if a file is opened from finder its default application will be moved and set up of spaces does not apply ?.

I just tried this (with iBooks Author). It worked as you would like it to if the app is not running when I double-click the file in Finder. I assigned the app to desktop 4. I quit the app. I went to desktop 1 and double-clicked on a document in the Finder (which, for me, is not assigned to any desktop). I was shuttled off to desktop 4 where the app launched and opened the document. Good.
But, as you say, if the app is already running and I double-click the document, it opens in whichever desktop I happen to be in.
Sounds like a bug, or at least an undesirable feature.

It would be interesting to figure out if this is a new "feature" of Mission Control, or if this same inconsistency was present in Snow Leopard (where Spaces could also be pretty quirky).

Maximise Task Pages in iFrame popup Window when opened From ADF Task List

We have built a custom worklist application that implements the Out of the Box Task list ADF Task flow. For application reasons, we have disabled the preview window (bottom section of task list) by using the Task Flow paramters.
When navigating from the tasklist, it launches a new browser window for the applicable task.FYI the browser url seems to take the pattern of that below.

Any help would be appreciated to see if this is feasible.
FYI, we are using SOA/BPM 11.1.1.6.3

Also in IE, when the tasklist page is closed (prior to it launching completely) the workspace reamins in model form.

'access denied' when opening from Office

Hello,
I've experienced this 'access denied' message too. Now I realized that when opening AdobeReader manually all works fine.
But when Reader is closed and is opened by Office after saving as PDF file - it still shows this error message.
There's nothing wrong with the file - when opening manually from inside of Reader.
Is it a problem with commandline execution?
I'm sorry for any problems you got - especially from reading my english...

Attachment opens as plain text when opened from outside outlook but original format is html...

I have a strange issue with some mails where the attachments which are normally in html format are opening as plain text with an empty body (when opened outside outlook). As soon as i move them to outlook then they open correctly. I already tried many things
like checking if it could be the antivirus that messed up the html or the security settings in outlook none of these worked.
Did someone of you already experienced that ?

Wav on ext hdd won't play in audition when opened from file explorer

Two computers:
Lenovo thinkpad T440s with Win 8.1
Dell Precision M4600 with Win 7
Both running Audition CS5.5
Two portable USB3 external hard drives
WD Passport Ultra
WD Elements
Same problem on both computers and drives:
When I try and open and play a wav file in Audition directly from File/Windows Explorer (either by setting Audition as default prog or by right click>open with), Audition launches, but file does not appear or play. No wave form visible, just empty editor.
However it will play from external drive if I open it from within Audition (file>open).
It also plays if I copy the same file to the internal hard drive of either computer and open from File/Windows Explorer.
It also plays from external drive if I set Window Media Player as default prog. and open from File/Windows Explorer.
I would greatly appreciate any ideas on how to play a wav stored on an external drive by double clicking on it.

Which type of files have the issue? Are they also the Word and Excel files? From which client the users access the files on the server? If it is Windows 7 client, you could disable the Preview Pane and the Details Pane in Windows Explorer, on the client machine
to check the results.

Why do I get 2 windows when openning from a URL?

I get 2 windows when I open Firefox 4 from a URL (one window is my Home Page and one window is the URL I selected). When I open from the Firefox app I only get one window with my Home Page. I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3.0

Reports are blank when opened from Reports Server

I have created a report project in Visual Studio 2013 and deployed a test report to the local reports server (SSRS 2012).
When I preview the report from visual studio it opens well, but when I try opening it from Report Server URL, I can see the report viewer toolbar but once I click "View Report" it shows "Loading" and then a blank page appears.
I then tried to delete the datasource, datasets and delete any report contents and just keep the title, still a blank page is the only thing that appears

Based on my research, it has reported the same issue when running the report in Chrome and Safari browsers. If that is a case, you can add the code below to ReportingServices.js file.

My iphone 5 won't fetch mail when I am not on wi-fi. I can't find the setting to make this happen! I have my wi-fi always on to save my data, but when I'm away from a wi-fi signal, I need to get my mail. I try to fetch manually and I get a message: no wi-fi signal.

Try a reset which is similar to a computer restart.
Press and hold the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.
