After the official unlock my Iphone 4s, I can not activate my Iphone. I send you Screenshots with problem.
ITunes says: "Your request couldn’t be processed. We’re sorry, but there was an error processing your request. Please try again later."
IPhone Says "Could not activate iphone' 'You Iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable"
This goes on for several weeks. On different computers and different wi-fi networks. On the same network successfully activate other iPhone. This Iphone Not activated as a SIM card AT&T, and with the local simcards. i trying restore iphone in recovery mode many times. This Iphone never be "hacked'

This is a problem more and more often. The fact is that when you first activate the phone is logged into the database of the operator to which he is attached to the server and Apple.

Not a good sign. Try forcing the phone into recovery mode & restoring it. If this fails, make an appointment at an Apple store:
Turn your phone off. Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. If the iPhone has Activation Lock - that is, it's asking for the previous owner's Apple ID and password to activate the device - then you will need that information, or you'll need to get the previous owner to remove the device from his/her iCloud account:

If you can't reach the previous owner or he/she is unwilling to cooperate, then the device is unusable by you. Return the iPhone for a refund if you can.

I've had the iOS 7 bet for as long as its been out, and it automatically updated to the full OS when that was released, and now, last night it just interrupted my usage, and brought me to a screen prompting me to "activate this iphone" and whenever I sign in and click "activate this iphone" nothing happens, than after a few minutes it says "could not activate this iphone"...
Someone please help me. I also tried using itunes to activate it, but it says its fully updated. And I cant even restore it: because it says I must first "turn off findmyiphone in the settings on my phone" but those settings are unreachable. someone. please. help. How do you "accidentaly" upgrade to iOS 5? Are you a registered developer? As I understand, Apple has told developers that they do NOT support downgrading from the Beta. You'll have to go over to the developers forums and see if someone there can help you.
If you're not a registered developer, then congratulations. You are now the proud owner of an iBrick until you either pay to enter the developers program or until the final release comes out in the fall.

Only the original cellular provider can authorize unlocking. You will need to contact them to determine if they offer unlocking and if the phone qualifies.

Itunes displays a message saying "there is no SIM installed in the phone you're trying to activate" even if there is the same SIM that was working minutes before.
The SIM works on a different phone I tested it.

“Could Not Activate EDGE” error message Update ...
Well it’s going on day 6 and still sporadic to no EDGE on my iPhone. At one time, it was thought to be a defective iPhone – since my partner’s iPhone works just fine.
After over three hours on the land line with AT&T and Apple, I was sent to the local Apple store for a replacement. Of course, as soon as I walked into the Apple store my iPhone worked just fine. ;-( The local store replaced my iPhone and suggested I go home and activate the phone as a NEW iPhone, that way if there was a bug in my data it would not carry over to the new phone. Did that and well… still sporadic to no EDGE. By the way, I have the Big White “E” to the right of the 5 bars and AT&T .
AT&T said last week they has “Software” issues in my area, but the CSR I talked to did not know what the issues were or if they were the cause of my problems. He did say they would call me back today to see how my iPhone was doing, but alas, no call back.
When I’m next to my partner, trying to access the same feature, his iPhone is just so fast. Mine hangs up, draws out and finally I get the error message, “Could Not Activate EDGE”. I am updated to version “1.1.4(4A102)”. New (refurbished) iPhone direct from Apple.
I remember reading a while back about some problems others had when they upgraded to from 1.1.3 to 1.1.4. I never had those problems, but it sure looks like they may have started. Does anyone remember what the problems with 1.1.4 were, what was done if anything to correct them, and best of all any suggestions?
By the way, this is Seattle, not some small – out of the way place where connection and signal strength is expected to be second rate. Also, I had full function of my iPhone from the day I bought it in June 2007, all the way up to Thursday March 20, at 2120.

Unfortunately, the only other way is to update the phone. If it is not officially unlocked, then it will relock.
According to this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937 about the wireless carriers, if the phone was purchased in UAE, it very well may be locked to a carrier and it does not show that they provide unlocking services.

3 Mbps is required for the download to work smoothly. accordingly i changed my broadband bandwidth to above 3 Mbps. i tried with that bandwidth and the download and installation could be carried out smoothly. thanks for all help.

IPhone 3GS OFFICIALLY UNLOCKED - but Activated fail - HELP!!

Hello - I recently had my iPhone 3GS Officially unlocked by following the AT&T Unlock Program.
The iPhone was previously running iOS 4.1 (8B117). After I did the restore to iOS 6.0.1 using iTunes. iTunes displays a message, saying its unable to complete the activation at this time. So i gave it a few hours and tried again, but I still get the same error message.
Can anyone please help me, fix this?
P.S: I am trying to use a AIRTEL (India) SIM in the phone.

Was it hacked or jailbroken BEFORE you requested a legitimate unlock from AT&T?
If so, the hack has rendered it unable to process the legitimate unlock.

Outside of the US, some carriers sold unlocked iPhone 3GSs as per the laws of the country in which they operated. At no time has the iPhone 3GS (or any iPhone prior to the iPhone 4) been available unlocked in the US, nor will it be unlocked. You can pay full retail price or complete a contract term, but no iPhone will be unlocked by AT&T. You can buy an unlocked iPhone 4 from Apple and use it any where, but you will pay full retail price for the phone.

The IPhone cannot be synced. The disk could not be read from or written to. THis appears after everything has synced but Photos. If you delete all the photos, the IPhone syncs fine.

So heres my problem... If I try to sync my iPhone or IPad to our computer I get an error that reads "The IPhone cannot be synced. The disk could not be read from or written to." Since you noticed this problem, have you shut down (powered off) and restarted your iMac?
iPhoto does the syncing for photos. Are you able to run iPhoto manually (start it up from the Dock) and access your photo library?

I had the same problem when trying to sync my new ilPhone 4s and a fairly new iPad 2. I couldn't find anything in the forum about it. So, since my 4s was new, I called support and luckily I got a CSR with some knowledge. He at first thought it would be tough to fix but after thinking a minute he found the fix. The fix is:
Click on finder, Go, Home, Pictures, then click on iPod photo cache and drag it to trash. Now try syncing again. It worked on both of mine. No problems since.
