Iphone 4s really low sound

Hello,
From some months I experience the problem with the sound of the iPhone 4s. The sound is really low. You can only hear it if you put your ear very near to the speakers. I've tried everything. Settings -> Sounds to max. Restarting the iPhone. Once I've played Flappy Bird, the sound like fixed itself for 2-3seconds. From low sound it turned very loud but for 2-3 seconds. Then I've tried Restoring the iPhone to its factory settings - nothing again. I lost and my Flappy Bird...
So my Question is - can we fix the sound problem and return my flappy bird? I can't download it from the gamecenter.

    Hi saiyed adil,
Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.
It appears that your iPhone 5s sometimes produces low sound, but a restart corrects it.
It can take some time to isolate and resolve intermittent issues like this one, and I'd recommend going through the steps in this guide the next time it occurs:

  • Really low sound from rear left spea

I have 5. headphones and when i have them pluged into my xtreamgamer i barly get any sound from my rear left speaker, i know it works because if i plug it in my basic MB soundcard it works fine. Is this a known problem or a fix for this?

I've installed the latest drivers, made sure the the jack is plugged in right (theres only one, that comes from the Monitor or the headphones). The CD only has an installation guide, and i know onboard sound is disabled because i never had one in the first place after a recent reformat. and before that reformat sound came out from both sides normally, so i know something is wrong with the sound card.
EDIT: i just did a random tests, and i found out that the right speaker is working, but it is playing extreamly low. i had to blare up my volume up to 00% and i bearly heard it. i've checked the playback control, and played around with it and still have same problem.Message Edited by Bigs80 on --200606:49 AM

Hi! I have an iPhone 4s and when I FaceTime the sound is really low. It´s really annoying. When I do phone calls it works, and on my MacBook Pro it works much better on FaceTime than on my phone. Can someone pls help to so solute this? Really need help! Thanks

This sounds like something similar to https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3388112?start=105&tstart=0.
Try turning down the speak volume (System Preferences->Sound->Output->Output Volume)  or the microphone gain (System Preferences->Sound->Input->Input Volume). Do this on both sides of the call.

  • Iphone 5c speakers sounds really low on the highest setting

last night the speakers were like normal then I woke up to my alarm from the phone and it sounds really low on the highest volumn setting. Just want to know whats wrong

You do realize that the iPhone only has one small speaker? The other grill is a mic.
If you feel your speaker is defective, make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it checked.

  • IPod Touch 5th Gen sound really low when playing movies/tv shows from video app

I just bought a ipod touch 5th generation for my daughter so she can watch her movies and tv shows that i purchased on itunes. On my iPhone 5S, I have no problems with the sound... Loud and clear. However with my new ipod touch, those same movies/tv shoes have really low volume. The sound while using Apps, Games and playing music are all fine. While playing from the video app, headphones are ok too... My problem is the sound from the speaker. I don't understand why all the other functions on the ipod that use sound is OK.
I have already reset my ipod and reset all the settings too... still didnt work. Please help! Thanks

The speaker is not that good but maybe yours is defective if you have the volume fully raised.
    - Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted and have a poor contact.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
    - Check also Settings > General > Accessibility > Hearing. Make sure that the sound balance is not set all the way to "R" or "R".
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack or other hardware problem.

There is now a new line in BBM that wasn't there before which covers the message that I am typing, so I can't actually see what I am typing.
    Hi bunjamin,
just go to BlackBerry World, and update all your apps including BBM.

you can turn off the magnifying glass :
device settings >> accessibility >> magnify mode >> OFF
you can deactivate the "reset to Hub view" :
hub >> overflow (bottom right button) >> Settings >> Display and actions >> Return to Default View When Idle >> OFF

yes, BlackBerry has acknowledged this bug in this article from the public knowledge base:
KB36755 After upgrading BlackBerry 10 OS to version 10.3.1 the volume for notifications is noticed to be significantly lower than in the previous version

  • Sound is coming from the ear-piece and its really really low

    Title pretty much says it.
My iPhone is acting really weird ever since this morning, sound isnt coming from the bottom speakers anymore but instead from the ear-piece and its really low.
I tried resetting the phone with holding down the home and sleep button at the same time but its still the same.
    Anyone else having this problem?

Connect the headset to a computer or stereo or anything else with 3,5mm minijcack to see if the headset is ok of they work there then your headset is defect if not your phone is the problem

    Hi marysol aguilar,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your new iPhone. If the issue appears to be limited to the included Apple headphones (i.e. other headphones appear fine), you should be able to have them serviced as outlined on the following page:
    About Apple accessories
Apple accessories (including the power adapter and Apple iPhone cases) are also covered by Apple's One Year Limited Warranty. Online service might not be available through Apple for all accessories. Contact your carrier, Apple, or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for details.

Note: If the issue isn't limited to a single set of headphones, it may instead be due to an inadvertantly adjusted ballance setting, as noted on this page:

  • TS2634 When ever I plug in my earphones the sound comes out really low

When ever I plug in my earphones the sound comes out really low and you barely can hear it.

The volume is set very quite I guess. Try adjusting the volume with the bottoms on the side. Your earphones could maybe cause some trouble too, are they damaged, are they as quite on another device?
Also note that your iPad remembers the earphones and will always adjust it back to the last setting these earphones had.

  • Low sound on iPhone 5S

I have done a side by side comparison between my iPhone 5s and my iPhone 4s concerning sound quality. My iPhone 4s has higher sound quality than my 5s. My 5s seems quieter. How would I fix this problem without going to the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store. However, I suspect that they will call me crazy and turn me at the door once I try to explain the problem just as they did prevously about my iPhone 4s. Its a 16GB Gold iPhone 5s. I have perform a hard reset and still no improvement. I have noticed that music plays louder on my iPhone 4s than 5s. So frustrated. Ugh. Just to also level the playing field of both iPhones, I update to the lastest IOS software and that still didnt make a difference. Please help.

Yes I agree. I just got my I Phone 5S a month ago.    I phone 5S is not as good or as loud as the 4 in the sound quality department.  I'm also having lots of trouble with people complaining about the way I Sound to them.
I hear more people say it sounds like I'm in a tunnel.  Speak up, I can't hear you!  Your phone sounds very noisy.
Problem will happen at the beginning of the call and never go away.  If I hang up and call back that can take care of the problem.  This problem will not happen on all calls.  I feel like I'm back in the days of Analog before 832 channels.  This is my second phone now going for number 3. Working with Verizon.  I love the new features on the I Phone 5S for many reasons.  But this problem is making me very unhappy.  I feel like I spent a lot of money for a Phone that is in my opinion not ready at all to be sold because it has issues. Apple should give me new phones to test out for them before they sell them because I have had a cell phone since 1995.   I believe that I can review the phone for problems.  Make me a Phone Tester!!    I love my Mac Mini, my Laptops and I Pad.
But not this I Phone 5S.  I feel like I'm stuck with a lemon.  Want my old I Phone 4 back but I traded it in to
offset the cost of this expensive I Phone 5S.  Never had an Issue with my (4) ever.
My family has I Phones (4) exactly, no problems with model 4 and 4s.
Apple Please fix this problem with the audio quality on the I Phone 5S

  • Really low volume on headphones with iPad mini iOS 8.2

    Hello,
Problem is with an iPad mini running iOS 8.2. When I connect any headphone/earbud to my iPad mini I can't hear a thing. Actually the sound is not totally muted but really really really low, almost imperceptible. The headphones are fine -tried them on mac/pc/iPhone-.  I've tried with different headphones (at least 5 different sets), tried adjusting the volume max-low-max (I can see volume bar on screen showing headphones), plugging unplugging the headphones -also plugging them very hard-, restarting the iPad by turning it off pressing and holding lock button and then sliding to power off, rebooting it holding lock and home button together. None of these have solved the problem. iPad speakers are fine. This issue happens with every app with sound: Videos, Music, YouTube, FaceTime, etc. I recently upgraded the software to iOS version 8.2. I'm sure this worked in the past.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
    Thank you.
    Laura.

Unless you've accidentally set a volume limit within music settings, there's probably a problem with your headphone jack. You should also try a complete restore of your iPad just incase. Otherwise, since you've tried everything else, it sounds like its a hardware problem

  • Volume in iPhone 4 significantly lower after headphone use. Anyone else?

I've had this happen a few times already. I'll use headphones for either music or calls, then when I unplug them the overall phone volume is really really low and can't seem to find a way to raise it. I pretty much have to restart the phone. Can anyone shed light on this issue? Thanks!

I believe I am having the same problem though I did not narrow down the cause of the issue until I read your subject line. I know that a few times I have had trouble hearing sound coming out of the bottom of the iPhone (i.e. when you are on a speakerphone call or are playing the music from the phone itself and not the headphones) but for some reason I could not figure out why! Reading your post now makes me believe that there is some sort of correlation between using the headphones (and then pulling them out) and low volume. I wish someone would fix this problem.

  • Audio via headphone jack is really low

The sound from internal speakers is fine, but audio via the headphone jack is really low.

    Hi Krich918,
Your computer can tell when you have something plugged into the headphone port, and it remembers a separate volume profile for each (internal speakers vs. headphones). You may want to double check that the volume is up on the Sound preference pane in System Preferences when you have your headphones plugged in, as outlined in the following article (apologies if you have already done so):
    Mac Basics: Set your preferences
