Iphone 4s runs slower on ios7

Has anyone else noticed or felt their phone (4S in my case) runs slower than before and all because of downloading ios7?
If so, it seems a rum deal that a OS update should cause a product in good condition and cherished to be made less effective than before.
Sir Jonathan Ive should have thought that one through.......

My 4S ran great on iOS7.
I had some WIFI lag and poor range, but reset the network settings and all was good.

I do nearly every day. iI can run a speed test and it looks good, or as good as i can get cause i live out in the sticks. my internet is radio wireless and i only get 1 meg/s, but i'm fine with that but only have problems with iphones. MS Word is not an Apple product so it could not've downloaded with all the Apple software updates.

In any case boot from your OS installer disk and run Repair Disk from Disk Uility.

I have an iPhone 4s and recently updates to iOS 8.1 and i noticed that my phone runs slower than before and even i am experiencing more app crashes on this iOS does anyone have solution for this? thanks

if you are having problems with your phone being slow. I would back up your device and then restore it. I did this with my 4s and it runs a lot better.

after i have uptaded the ios7 in my 4g iphone. my phone has become really slow. i cant even type without being stuck. what should i do? help!!!

It's archly UI and parsley hardware. My mothers 4s was lagy on iOS 7.0 and I updated to iOS 7.0.4 and it a lot less lagy so that and also try switching of some settings such as increase contrast and reduce motion. Settings>General>Accessibility it should quite a bit less lagy in iOS 7.1 release. I had this with beta 1 on my iPhone 5 and then as the betas came threw it eventually ran more and more smoothly in the UI

are you up to date with the siftware?
do you have a lot of memory left?
have you tried a hard reset? a reset network settings? a restore?
all can be done to try to resolve the issue, try those first before giving up

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

Iphone is running slow and lagging

My battery life is not neccassarly anything to complain about. I keep the brightness all the way down and usually can make it through the day no problem. However, I have already lost my wall charger for the iphone (the little white one, smaller then the ipod charger). So I use one of my old ipod chargers and my ipod car charger which connects to the car lighter. Both are intended for the ipod and i occassionally charge it on my iphone dock using the USB cord.
About two weeks after getting the phone (ive had it for about two months) the thing starts lagging and completely freezes at some points when i simply hit the home button to leave safari or somthing. I have to wait several seconds for it to run through everything i just pressed to actually happen in a very quick few seconds. LAGGGGG!!!! anyways ive tried resetting the battery by letting it run completely down then charge it for about eight hours while it is off. But each time i try to plug it in when the battery is dead and keep it off it turns back on in my wall outlet and the computer, then i turn it back off and leave it be for 8 hours and the battery didnt even charge. I really dont want to buy a new iphone charger but is that what i have to do to get my phone working again. Or do the chargers not even matter and its caused by somthing esle?
Basically any help would be great and ive already read a bunch of forums on the battery life and stuff for the iphone but nothing had answered all of my questions. I just want to know if im doing somthing wrong and if i am what i should do now

Since there are no viruses that infect or effect OS X which has been available for over 6 years and counting, I wouldn't be overly concerned or concerned at all about a virus or spyware problem with your iPhone. With the 1.1.3 update, iPhone applications are no longer running as root. All applications now run as the user 'mobile' instead of as root and preferences are now stored in /var/mobile rather than in /var/root which is in advance of 3rd party "official" installable applications.
Troubleshooting steps in order are power the iPhone off and on, Reset, Restore.

IPhone 6 Running slow

Hello everyone
Im wondering if someone could help me with my problem? My iPhone 6 64gb space grey seems to be operating slower compared to when I first recieved my phone. For example, Crossy roads now lags a lot and normal safari seems a lot slower
any suggestions of ideas on what the problem is and how to correct it?

Iphone 5c runs slow with ios 8

Ever since I upgraded my I phone 5c to ios 8 my apps, like face book news loads very slow, my phone seems to take a long time to connect to my home wifi, also apps seem to take a while to load when on lte. I turned of my location service hoping that this would resolve the issue, but didn't seem to make a difference. I don't know how to reboot my phone or if you can even do that with a iphone? what can I do to resolve this issue ?

Downgrading iOS is not possible on iPhones (in a legal way), I'm sorry, you can make your iPhone faster to close your apps in the multitask menu (double-click the home button and swipe the app upwards) and make some space in your storage (delete some apps, photos etc)

IPhone 3gs runs slow with iOS5

I've an iPhone 3GS and even with iOS4 it started to get slower but when I upgraded it to iOS5 it became even much slower.
I tried to Restore using iTunes but it didn't restored to factory defaults, with the original iOS version. I saw in Apple's site and they only have until iOS4.2.
Is there a way to do so?

When you restore to original settings, it doesn't reload your old IOS - just the original settings.
I'm afraid that IOS5 is going to be slow on a 3GS, but you can do things to help, such as keeping the number of apps open to a minimum; turn off location services for apps that don't really need them and to reduce the number of apps doing a fetch or at least reduce how often they fetch new data.
