I'd be listening to music on my music app and the sound of everything cuts off and the volume bar disappears. Why is this happening and how do I fix this??

I have a pair of Creative Inspire T10s, but if I connect them to my laptop, occasionally if I'm playing something with audio there will be a 'buzz' before sound stops working, for all applications. But, if I quit the applications, then reload them, the sound is fine.
I say randomly as I can't see a time period or trigger that regularly causes this problem. The only common occurence was playing the football game FIFA against other online players, at the match up screen (where often their microphone/game chat function would be introduced), but this only happens every so often. I mention this in case it helps.
Is there a solution to this problem?

You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.

The sound on a movie I'm making randomly cuts off

Whenever I previewed the movie i had made in iMovie i noticed that at certain parts the sound would cut off. I also noticed that if i stopped the video at those points and began play again the sound would be back to normal. Then when i made it into a dvd on iDVD the sound still cut off at a certain point and wouldnt come back. I posted the video on youtube, ryan and catherine satire, but still even on that format of viewing the sound did the same thing. Is there a particular reason for this? And How can i resolve the situation? I need this perfect for monday. PLEASE HELP ME!

Did your Mac come with iMovie preinstalled?
Then you could export your video, import it to iMovie and remove the audio track. iMovie has two methods to silence a video clip - you can either select the clip in the project and use the command "Detach audio" or chance the audio settings of the clip and set the volume to zero. Then render the video new and import the silent version to iPhoto to use in the slideshow.

My iTunes randomly cuts off songs at the end. I've tried to create a new library and reimport my old library, but to no avail. Can anyone help? :)?

Hi, I am using a MacBook Pro, and downloaded the new iTunes update. I have OS X Lion 10.7.4. It all of sudden is randomly cutting off some songs before the very end of the song. I've tried to read past posts and create new libraries and re-import the old one, but it doesn't seem to help. It is not all of my purchased songs, nor is it all of my downloaded from CD songs, it's just a particularly random set of songs (I haven't checked them all, but it happens every 5 songs or so when I play the whole library on shuffle). This never happened to me before with other versions of iTunes, and when I called the support line the guy says he has never heard of this problem before... !
I have 3000 songs, so I don't want to manually bring each one in again. I am also not super technologically brilliant, so if you have had this problem too and have a simple answer, please help !!!

I have a similar problem with Itunes - the funny thing is it only does it on my Mac and not my PC running Windows 7 - seems strange the Apple software runs better on a Windows computer. There are other posts about this here on the forums that have been running for two years with no solution - and I was just about to buy a new Ipod - oh well.

If it's new, then it is under warranty. Please make a Genius Appointment and take it in for service. If it is a used computer then you need to provide more information. If your battery will not take a charge, then either the charger is not working or the battery needs to be replaced or both.

New Intel WIFI Link Driver Randomly cut off Internet Connection

Two day ago I used ThinkVantage SYstem Update and installed Intel Wifi link driver (ver 13.01.1000). But since then my computer was randomly cut off internet connection, and the wireless signal strength icon on the system tray indicated no nearby wireless network. And then it powered off the wireless connection. Whatever I do, I cannot re-power on the wireless (I used Access Connection to power on the 802.11 wireless radio, but it could not be turned on and nothing happened) unless I restart the computer.
I thought it might be the router that malfunctioned as this problem never happened before. But after I checked the router and used another notebook to test wireless connection, I was sure the router ran very well.
Then I re-installed the TVT Access Connection (ver 5.61) and the Intel WIFI Link Driver (ver 13.01.1000) but the problem remained. Could anybody give a possible solution?
I also noticed on Lenovo's website, the Intel wireless card driver for T61 is v13.00.0000 Windows Vista 23 Oct 2009. It's lower than what I have now. Could that be the cause?
My ThinkPad T61 has the following configuration:
Model: T61 8897CTO
OS: WinVista Home Basic SP2 32bit
Language: EN
Wireless Card: Intel 3945 ABG
Wireless Card Driver: 13.1.1.1 (previous one was 13.0.0.0)

Hi carlven,
Anytime when wireless driver is updated, Access Connections also needs to be reistalled.
Do this, first uninstall your wireless driver and access connections, thereafter reboot your system. Then install wireless driver first, again reboot, subsequently install access connections, reboot again.
When installing any lenovo driver manually, keep in mind they first extract themselves to a default location in C:\Drivers..., second .exe setup must be run from that location to successfully install the drivers.

I'm experiencing the same issue. It's one thing to have to re-power up but to not be able to do so without plugging in the charger when the battery is substantially full, is a real drag.

G5 Randomly cuts off

So just recently my G5 started randomly cutting off on me. I'll be just looking on the internet or looking through anything and it will cut off with no warning sign. It's always random...I set it to run at a reduce speed, and it seems somewhat okay. Any ideas? the temps are: HD 52c CPU 60c Hard Drive 50c and the fan speeds are: system 1240pms CPU 2000-2200 Hard Drive 1800. The temps will rise and fall, as well as the CPU Fan Speed...sometimes it will go up to 2700pms. How do I find out info on the power supply? Any info would be appreciated thanks.

Just compared the temps with what my machine is showing and they seem a bit high.
Nonetheless, I would concur with BDAqua's comment about blowing the dust out of the power supply as a first start. It is best and least messy to just remove the supply (a little involved, I admit, but doable if you have the proper take-apart instructions) from the case and blow it out with good, clean compressed air and then putting it back in place.
These things can accumulate a considerable amount of dust over the years and that could contribute to random shutdowns, since the PMU is very protective and will force everything down under certain detected fault conditions. (Look for a PMU error code of -122 in the system log of the reboot which will tell you that the PMU has done just that.)

Are you using a case with your iPhone? It could be holding down the power button on the top of the iPhone.
You can try restoring the iPhone as a new device, if that doesn't do it send it in for service.

Web player randomly cut off sound and stop playing after about 5 seconds.

My web player cut off the sound and stops after about 5 seconds. The only way to get it to work again without refreshing the page it to select a different time periode in the time bar. Also it happens more often at the first 25% of the movie.
I am using safari with add block on a Macbook pro retina (if this helps with the issue).
What can I do to solve this.

I was using twitter on my phone (EchoPhone) and then my phone cut off. It would not turn back on when I pushed the power button. I went to the car and plugged into the car charger and the connect to itunes screen appeared. This has happened to 3 people I know in the past week.
