IPhone 4S (Sprint) won't receive/send SMS or calls

I'm connected to wifi so my iMessaging is good. But I'm stil extremely frustrated at not being able to text or call out or even receive any.
My friends say it'll ring but I won't get notification of their call at all.
My phone has the latest software
My bill is paid
No, it's not the local network. I have friends with the same phone and who are on Sprint and who also live in the same town as me and their phones are fine
I restarted it
I held down the home and lock button to restart it that way also, neither worked
I reset my network connections, that didn't work
I turned off wifi and tried, nothing.
I turned off cell phone network, nothing.
I also tried some other things I found online, nothing helps.
What do I do!? Please help

I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated.

I changed my carrier , i can't send and receive any sms any call, i erase my data and after the problem still..ifone 4S ios 8.3..thank u

I have just updated to iOS 5.1 for iphone 4s. I have problem sending sms or make call. Can anyone please help

I just updated my iPhone 4s to iOS 5.1. Since the update, I am not able to make calls or send sms. I reset network settings several times but not luck. I have also turned off data and 3G but no luck.
Could anyone please help me? Right now, my iPhone 4s is use-less.

I have a similar problem...iMessage is not working for me. I can only send SMS and when I try to activate it an error will come up. It won't even let me use my Apple ID.

You make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store.
If it's the back glass that's cracked, it will cost you about $30 to get it repaired. If it's the screen, you're looking at $199 + tax for a replacement phone.

IPhone 6 plus won't receive messages!

I have an iPhone 6 plus, and for the last 2 weeks I've been having messaging problems with both iMessage and SMS. With some people, mainly those with Android phones, I wouldn't receive their texts at all! They would get mine but I wouldn't get a reply. I went DAYS without getting any messages from them. I have gone to T-Mobile 4 times, they reset my phone to factory settings, gave me a new sim card, reset the network settings, and then replaced my phone... For a few days, the messages were working fine. Tonight, I had to wait 20 minutes for a picture message to be sent to my boyfriend, who has a Galaxy S5 - a few days ago, it would send with no problem (I literally didn't have to wait more than 30 seconds for the picture to send). My friend just called me to ask if I had received any of her iMessages from today - I had not. Another friend has been trying to send me picture messages for days - they say "delivered" but do I see them? NO. I was having the same issue with my previous 6 plus, which is why they gave me a replacement, and look what's happened! More messaging issues. This is getting ridiculous. I NEVER had messaging issues on my iPhone 5s. NEVER. And to make matters worse, I was getting 4 bars of service on my last 6 plus, but this replacement is only getting 1 or 2 (if I'm lucky) NO MATTER WHERE I AM IN THE HOUSE. I have called T-Mobile customer service multiple times and they keep saying it's a hardware issue. Really? On both phones? Great.
Does anyone else have these issues? Is there some magic spell I can do that will fix these messaging problems? Or should I just go back to my 5s?

Start with soft reset then reset network settings and a possible Sim card reseat. Careful they pop out when using an earring or paperclip to remove.

IPad won't receive/send gmail

I use gmail on IPad, Mac Intel computer and Iphone. Never any problems, but now on Ipad I keep getting message "Cannot get mail, Imap.gmail.com not responding, verify settings". Settings all appear correct. How do I fix this? I have tried and retried to figure it out, but still get same message.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. HT203032 Don't enable Wi-Fi calling on your Sprint iPhone or you won't be able to make calls as soon as you leave your Wi-Fi area.

I tried enabling Wi-Fi calling on my iPhone 6 on Sprint and as soon as I left my Wi-Fi area my phone wouldn't recive or make calls. I would just a error.
I called Sprint about this and informed them but, If this doesn't happen to you then just go to the Wi-Fi calling setting > Update Emergency Contact > Check Disable Wi-Fi calling. That should fix it!

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone.

This issue started with the last iOS update and has affected not only my phone, but my wife's and father in law's as well (we all have the exact same model)
When I attempt to send a text message to my wife, my phone suddenly won't send imessages anymore. Only text. I have tried rebooting my phone, and my wife's phone. We have even tried wiping our phones and restoring them from backups. The problem still persists, wether we are at home connected to wifi or out of the house on 3G.
The only way I have managed to send my wife an imessage was by creating a new contact with ONLY her e-mail address. That only worked once. since then, its trying to send everything as SMS again.
This is unacceptable as we live in an area with very poor celular coverage and rely heavily on wifi connections, therefore we won't receive an SMS until our phones get access to the celular network. All other apps and phone functions are working correctly across all 3 phones mentioned.
On both my phone, and my wife's, I have double checked to ensure that iMessage is still turned on. I suspect that this is a global software issue seeing as it only started once we updated our phones to the latest iOS. My question is this:
Are we doing something wrong?
Prior to the update, we were all able to send iMessages to eachother, regardless of where we were. The only time we'd have an issue is if someone's phone was turned off or not connected to either the celular 3G network or a wifi with internet access (which is natural).

You may want to turn iMessage off, wait a few minutes, then turn it back on on each of these phones (to re-register the phone numbers with the iMessage server). Also confirm that you have the correct date, time and time zone on each of the phones (in case a recent change to DST resulted in incorrect setttings on your phones). My device keeps receiving multiple sms from one specific number.

I have an Iphone 4, my device keeps receiving multiple sms from my customer in Germany. I am in India. Although he just sends it once, I keep receiving them for days. Sometimes to the tune of 600 smses a day, even night. I have to turn off my sms notifications and vibration. I tried factory reset and all other resets, but only factory reset works for some time. After reseting it everything is fine for 3-4 days and then again the multiple smses start. The same sms again and again. It is frustrating. If I travel to another network area (roaming) it stops. But if I am back in my home network and my customer sends me a sms then it starts repeating itself. Only sometimes the smses are not repeated. I am on Vodafone network and had a huge fight with them but they claim that everything is smooth on their side. It is a problem with my Iphone. If I put my sim in another Iphone4, the smses stop. Help!!

You are unable to receive SMS on your non-Apple device when sent from another person using an iPhone.
You are unable to send SMS to a non-Apple device because they are sent as an iMessage.
You'll want to follow these steps:
The cellular phone number may still be registered with iMessage. iMessage is registered with your cellular telephone number when you turn it on with your iPhone. If you want to deregister your phone number:
Tap Settings > Messages and turn iMessage off

Can't Send SMS To A Cell Phone

This is a strange one - I have a friend who uses Sprint, and I was able to send messages to her up until the other day. Now she shows as offline. I deleted and recreated her address card in Address Book. Ditto deleting her and adding her as a buddy in iChat.
I have other buddies who cell phones are accessible. I can send an SMS to my cell phone.
What gives?

One of my friend also have Sprint and I cannot send SMS via iChat to her. But just last week, she got a second phone (Blackberry 8330) from Sprint via work and I can SMS to that one.

How do i receive a face time call?

I know this is a stupid question but my iphone doesn't seem to receive a Face Time call request. What am I doing wrong?

FaceTime turned on? Settings>FaceTime>On. Connected to WiFi? All FaceTime calls are done over WiFi only.
