Iphone 4S Stuck in recovering without progress bar ..

Hi,
this morning when i woke up, my iphone was OFF. When i tried to switch it on, it didn't, and went to recovery mode .. I tried lots of softwares to leave this mode, but no success ! I tried to restore my phone, using the last itunes didn't work (either in DFU and recovery) ... It's extracting files on itunes, the apple appears on my phone BUT no progress bar !! So it's not recovering ... I tried like everything, you're my last chance ! (i'm using ios 7.1.1). I also tried on different computers, with different cables, no way ! Did i miss something ?

I restored my iphone to ne newest iOS7.1.1 without losing my preferences, passcode, photos, music, pdf, ibooks, apps and app data and so on. After Restoring i saved the app data and photos with the tool itools.
I think its a good solution for people, which not backup there data with itunes and icloud.

Iphone 5s stuck on recover mode

I have been trying to update my Iphone for the past 5 hours. I am not stuck in recover mode and all my phone says is to plug into itunes. I have tried to store my phone but every time it gives me an error. I have restarted my computer and changed the usb outlets.

Yesterday, I tried to update my Ipad 2 to iOS 8 in OTA way.
Everything was going fine until the Ipad rebooted. Since this step, the Ipad stucks on the famous Apple with a progress bar under. The progress bar is 30% filled.
I tried to put my Ipad in DFU mode and it doesn't works.
The Ipad switch off few seconds and it switch on back in the state describes before.
Could you please heeeeeelp me.

i have the same problem, my ipad 2 ios 8 update: stuck with apple logo refreshing every 2 minutes or so with the black screen (like the one for boot up or reset) but not turning on or connecting to itunes. plugged it in to the computer for an itunes connect to do a hard reboot and the device shows up in grey (meaning i cannot click on it) for a minute while the ipad cycles with the apple logo. the device showing in itunes then disappears and the whole cycle starts over and over again. yes, please help!

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note: Data will be lost

DFU and tried to recover but progress bar never showed up

I recently tried to restore my extremely loaded and bugging iPhone 3Gs into a default state via DFU mode. I used a fw file with my 6.1.2 shsh stitched into it so I may recover to 6.1.2. Things went smooth when I put my phone into pwned DFU and choose the fw in iTunes. All that is after iTunes verified that the fw can be installed and prepair to do the recovery by booting into the "bar mode" (Don't ask, just the screen that shows the firmware install progress.) The phone will just try to boot itself up as normal and I recieve a random error like err. 1604, 1643 ect. I am doing it on a Mac but swaping to a windows doesn't help.

Describe what happens when you perform a restore (and is it from icloud or itunes?).
Do you get any eror code?
Was the device jailbroken in the past?

IPhone 2G stuck in recover between softwares

I was updating my iPhone to 2.0 and my computer went to sleep half way through, so now it is no longer unlocked and in recovery mode between softwares. what do I do? also for some reason, the iTunes store is not responding on my computer

Ok never mind, I got it all figured out, incase anyone else is having the problem the solution is really easy. you just need to put it into recovery mode, then restore it to the latest software, and unlock it using the new Pwnage tool, 2.0.1 I think

Ical is stuck on the following progress bar "upgrading ical calendars". How to fix?

While attempting to fix syncing this message appeared and has hung up ical indefinitely. I can force quite but cannot fix. Any suggestions?

The advice that was given for the OP was offered almost three years ago, and the OP was using OS X 10.6. You are most likely using a newer version of OS X. Try this updated list of instructions.
1. Disconnect your computer from your internet connection.
2. From the  Menu, select Force Quit...>Calendar.
3. Paste this text ~/Library into the Finder>Go>Go to Folder...window and select "Go." This will open the Users Library Folder.
4. Then open the Calendars Folder in that Library Folder, and move any any files with "Cache" listed in the name field to your Desktop.
5. Next open the Preferences Folder in the same Library Folder, and move the com.apple.iCal.plist file to the Desktop.
6. Log out/in or restart, and open Calendar.

IPhoto 09 rebuild stuck Examining Library with progress bar unmoved

It has just sat there for 2+ hours The activity monitor shows iphoto is very busy. Should I keep waiting?
Problem occurred when iphoto was opened (and it worked fine three days ago) and it told us that the library was busy of needed to be rebuilt. Reboot of imac didn't help.

I have made a copy of a week-ago version from time machine. She has added no phtots since then.

I was also was stuck for a very long time (3 hours) with progress bar at 50%. I followed Bjerglund's bravery and held the power button down and restarted again. Happy to report, it also worked for me. Thanks Bjerglund for leading the way.

Iphone music: progress bar, shuffle options GONE

After the latest update, when I am playing "music" (previously known as the "iPod" function of the iPhone), there are no longer the progress bar of the actual title and the shuffle options available! When I tap on the actual song ("now playing"), it shows only the cover and the volume bar below, but not the progress bar above the cover! And the worst: It is stuck on "shuffle" - I can't hear my music and albums in order, because everything automaically shuffles.
I tried already a restart and a reset of the iPhone ... no result.

It isn't a bug, but rather not clear usability. If you ever click the "word" Shuffle when looknig at a list, that isn't really the place to set shuffle, but rather a shortcut. What it does is turn Shuffle on (setting) then start playing.
Go play any song.
Tap middle of screen.
Another progress menu will appear near top.
In that menu it has Shuffle, Repeat and Progress options.
There if Shuffle is Blue (on) tap it to turn it White (off).
And remember, if you ever click the word Shuffle in a list again, it turns that setting on as it is a global setting to the iPod player.

Yosemite Upgrade - iMac mid-2011 - Stuck on white progress bar screen at about 50%

I have a mid 2011 iMac. I started the upgrade to Yosemite about 4 hours ago. For the last 3 and 1/2 hours it's been "stuck" at the white progress bar screen at about 50%. I hear the harddrive occasionally do reading/writing, but it isn't doing a lot just a tiny bit. I've seen others post across the net with similar situations, but no solutions. I'm willing to wait, but would love to know if it's actually proceeding or simply in some infinite loop.
Anyone know how to tell if it's in a loop or proceeding?
Anyone have any ideas on things to try?
I really don't want to try and interrupt the upgrade, but it doesn't appear it's going to complete.
Ideas?

This worked for my MBP 17" mid-2010 after 10 hours of minor panic watching progress bar stuck at 50%:
Reboot and hold SHIFT key to go into Safe Mode and keep holding that SHIFT key.
*Patience is the key to the Shift key*
Keep the Shift key down.
Do not let go of Shift key until you go to Italy when the computer does its Venetian blinds thing and goes into Safe Mode.
Check whether you have any login items. Do this via via Sys Preferences > Users & Groups
It is going to be slow. You are in SafeMode.
Remove any login apps.
Run any updates for Yosemite (e.g. Pages, Numbers, Keynote) within Safe Mode.
Reboot.
Remember, YMMV

Unable to restore iPhone 5, stuck with white screen

While restoring iPhone 5 to original settings it got stuck.
Now all I have the white screen with apple logo, it's been like this for hours.
Every 10min or so the screen goes black and back to the white screen with apple logo without progress bar.
Any suggestions?

11.0.5.5 mini player sync progress bar disappeared?

Just installed iTunes 11.0.5.5 and when I sync with my iPhone I no longer see a progress bar on the Mini Player. Syncing with Outlook. Can I make the progress bar reappear?

I'm having the same problem as you, have an HP Envy running iTunes 11.1 and every time I try to access the iTunes store I have a windows error (the same as yours) pop up, and the program closes. Im guessing our problem has to do with one of the HP products that come installed with the computer... I have tried disabling and exiting them all, but to no avail.
