Hi all,
I am getting problem after updating ios6 music sounds
Are disabled could any one plz help me for this

when phone is connected to itunes for restoring, it's started restoring but after few minutes it's cancelled restoring again n again, at least more than 10 to 13 time i sync the device then it's complete all backup done in device, but problem remain same. All App's close automatically. what should i do now.

I had this issue and following the steps below fixed it:
1- backup your iphone on itunes
2- perform factory reset (it will wipe out the iOS7 from your iphone, if already downloaded)
3- restore iphone data using itunes (this won't restore the iOS 7 download data that was downloaded to the device)
4- disable wifi right after restored (to prevent auto download again of iOS7)
5- fill up your iphone with photos or music, leave less than 3GB free.
By filling up storage you can prevent Apple from auto downloading iOS 7 to your device. The iOS 7 download requires 3.1GB of data and if there is less than that it won't allow the download to happen.
The instructions above won't remove ios7 if the upgrade has been installed and currently running on your device. It removes the ios7 upgrade data that has downloaded to your device (and taking up storage space) that is waiting for you to press the "Install Now" button. Don't press that button...

I tried to update my iphone 6 from iOS 8.0 to 8.0.2 today, and after 10 hours, it stills locked.
I can't do anything and the progress bar it's gone! I can see only the black apple now.

You can disconnect and re-connect and try again. You should be selecting the Update button for the new Software. The update while connected to iTunes should not take all that long from the download, through the Verification and then the Install. If that down't work, you may have to Restore your iPhone to Factory Settings, insuring first you do have a current Backup available to Restore from Backup at a later time after the Restore as New.
Sometimes you can Update your iOS software in a WiFi environment even faster, if you have enough memory available for the process to work.

IPhone 5 Update 7.0.2 Sound Notification Issues

Hello Apple support,
my wife and I both have iPhones 5 and after the 7.0.2 update we are having issues with iMessages getting stuck and not being delivered nor sent.
Also, on normal messages/texts my wife's iPhone 5 is NOT getting any sound notifications when someone texts her.
And, the normal messages/text are sometimes not being delivered to people at all...
Please make a usefull and fixed update soon, or let me know what I can try to fix this issue.

Ok, I just found out that my wife's phone had a Do Not Disturb option ON somehow
but her messages are still not all being delivered to people she texts.

i Just updated my iphone 5s on ios 8.01 and just recently 8.0.2...but still i experiencing some difficulties on using my iphone such as facebook which is always crashing in the middle of activity,taking long time to load comments,loading videos,and loading others profile...i also noticed that using safari is very slow to response....are apple aware regarding this?are they working on the next update to solve those thing?and before i forget i also noticed the wifi eventhough i haved a strong signal its not enough to play videos...sorry for my poor english hope someone can relate and help me or give their tips,point of view or solution regarding this matter....thanx in advance!mabuhay!

IPhone 5 update iOS 7.1.1 without iTunes

Hi guys,
Hoping for a bit of advice.
I've just tried updating my iphone 5 from iOS 7.1 to iOS 7.1.1 - the update was verifying on my phone, then went black. Now all that comes up is for me to plug it into iTunes. Normally this wouldnt be a problem, but im inbetween moving houses with no access to my mac with iTunes.
i have plugged it into my housemates mac just to try getting it to work - I don't care so much about all the bits on it, I just need a working phone!
It keeps saying it's in restore mode on the mac. As his computer wont have a restore for my phone, it would be better for me to set it up as a new phone when the download is complete and then either restore it when I have my own mac, or see if I can back up from iCloud (whenever it last saved)?
Am I right thinking this is the best way to do it without my own iTunes/saved restore?

IPhone 4 w/ iOS 5 music player help!

Hey, my iPhone 4 was just equipped with iOS 5 a week ago, and ever since, about half of all my music just refuses to play. A ton of my music has also lost the ablum artwork. When I try to play some music, it doesnt give an error or anything. What happens is when I select a song that wornt work, if I just select it from a menu, it just goes to the song for a second, nothing happens, then it goes back to the menu. If I reach a song that doesnt work in shuffle, then it just plays the next song on shuffle, but under the same name as the corrupted song and the same time. When I go into iTunes on my computer, and I check my music on my iPhone and computer, none of the tracks are corrupted. PLEASE HELP!

I had the same issue within the first week after i bought my iphone 4s..
The problem seems to be triggered after my battery drains and my phone restarts.
You can try:
A.) Go to Settings> General> Reset> Reset All Settings (it wont delete any data so dont worry)
After reset, you'll be on the set-up screen again. Just do your preferred settings and set up accounts if you wish to do so.
.....This worked for me once.
But then after another battery drain> phone shuts off> restart ....the phone doesn't have signal again. So i tried the previous process which is having to reset all settings, but to no avail.
So....
I went to the store where i bought my phone. They replaced my sim card, and the phone's signal problem has been solved. They told me that it was just an isolated case of a "bad batch" of sim cards 'coz every customer that bought a unit the same day i bought mine had the same probem.

Iphone 4s with IOS 7, no sound. Please help.

Since updating to IOS 7 my speaker stopped working. Already tried the reset thing pressing the home and the turn off button, cleaning with soft brush, and now just restored it and still doesn't work. The only sound it makes is for ringtone, but not for itunes, youtube, skype... Pressing the volume buttons only shows an icon but not the scrolling thing for the volume also. The only thing left I think is a hardware issue, but how come the ringtone works? Please I need help, what's the point having an iphone with no sound?

Updated iOS 5 music is greyed out? :S

So i updated my iPod Touch 3rd Gen. and now when i go into music app on my iTouch the music is greyed out. :S But then i can listen to them fine and all on my computer.... This is so annoying and confusing just someone tell me what to do. About to throw the thing at the wall!!!!! :@

Update - My music on iTunes still will not sync with my 3rd Gen iPod Touch. I still keep getting the -5000 error, among a few others. The only songs that did show up for a short time were the ones I purchased on iTunes. Since then, after restoring and syncing again and again it shows I have "NO CONTENT" in my music. A few times most of my music showed up only each song was grayed out and would not play.
I've disabled my firewall, anti virus, reboot both the computer and the iPod a dozen times with the same results, only somehow I now have duplicates of all my music. It's just getting more complicated. Do I want to use iCloud?
What if I uninstall iTunes then download and reinstall it? Would that fix anything or create more problems? I'm out of ideas. Please help.

Iphone 3G - Update iOS 4.2 -- LOST MY PICTURES !!!!!!!

I just updated the new iOS 4.2 Software on my iphone 3G.... Bad news all my pictures desapeared !!!!
I cannot see any pictures on my iphone, however itunes indicated the number of pics i had before the update of iOS. Even if i try to synchronize, i still dont have access to the pics on my iphone ...
how can i ger theses pics back ?

Does this involve pictures in your iPhone's Camera Roll which is where photos that were captured by your iPhone are stored? If so, photos in the Camera Roll are not included with the iTunes sync process except for being included with your iPhone's backup which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process. Photos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. With a Mac you can use iPhoto or the Image Capture application for this. When there are photos in the Camera Roll, your iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected to your computer.
Or does this involve photos that were transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process which is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes? These photos are stored in your iPhone's Photo Library, not in the Camera Roll.

All iPhones require activation after a restoration and an iOS upgrade. There really was no reason to throw your deactivated SIM from AT&T away. You'll need an AT&T sim to activate that phone. It doesn't need to be active, however. Borrow one from someone to get your phone activated
