IPhone 4s wifi freezing

I was having the same issue as everybody else with the wifi being greyed out and not being able to enable it.
I took the phone into the apple store and they did tell me there were issues with some of the 4s models and ios7. They anticipate a new release on friday to fix this problem. It's not a hardware issue and your wifi is not burned out. My phone was under warrenty and they gave me another 4s which is woring fine on ios7.
So be patient and they will release the fix. It's a product after all, and even companies like Apple make mistakes, although I own a software company and I am not sure how this got through QA.
I think the biggest problem I have with all this is the fact that they don't just come out and say they have a problem. That way people know it's not hardware and a fix is in the works. Jobs also loved the cloak and dagger act, but in reality it's just lying to your customers

Does "have reset" mean that you restored the phone to factory settings? If not, you might want to give that a try. You will want to backup first so that you can restore your data from the backup after you restore the iOS software.
This will erase the phone and also download and install the most recent iOS version available for your device.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings

I upload files to iphone via wifi and air sharing app a lot. Just connect with finder and drag&drop files one at a time and everything is fine, but when you select more files and try to copy them to iphone together Leopard completely freeze. Totally. You cannot force quit finder, cannot run activity monitor, cannot kill finder in terminal or even restart the computer. Just shut down with holding the power button...

when i had around 50 reports to move from local to server , best idea is to a ) place all your reports in C:\..\My Documents\PC_NW\..domain1..\..username..\AppInfo\..appsetname..\..application..\eExcel\Reports (local folder )
b) open BPC excel -> etools-> Save Dynamic templates -> reports
c) Select Local folder select all the files you want to copy ,and right click copy
d) Select Company folder paste files

1. If you are really on iOS 7.1, you may wish to try upgrading to 8.1.2 which is the latest (basing this on your signature).
2. If updating the phone doesn't help, is this only when you connect to a specific wifi network? Or all wifi networks (including public with no password)? If it is ALL wifi networks, you may have a hardware problem. Genius bar would be the next step.

iPhone 6 screen freezes and can't find wifi after iOS 8.0.2 update. Have to do a hard reboot. I am Extremely disappointed and lost ALL trust in Apples Quality Assurance. From now on I'll wait a week before I update.

It sounds like your phone touchscreen is not consistently working for you after updating to iOS 8. I can see how that would be pretty frustrating. It sounds to me like this could be a software issue or an issue with the screen itself. I would start with the troubleshooting in the following article to help troubleshoot the screen itself:

Restart your device
Hold the On/Off button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the On/Off button to turn it back on.
If you can't restart your device, reset it by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for a least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Clean the screen with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Avoid using the device while wearing gloves, with wet hands, or immediately after applying hand lotion.
If you have a protective case, or if you are using a plastic sheet or film on the display, try removing them and testing the device without it.
If that does not resolve the issue, I would next quit all the running apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

Ever since I downloaded ios7, my iPhone 4s keeps freezing when trying to connect to wifi. Help?

I can force quit the settings area, and it unfreezes the iPhone, but it doesn't fix the settings area, which is still frozen. I have come to points when I can connect to wifi, but it only lasts about 30 seconds before dropping the connection. This happens everywhere, even at home, when I'm right next to the router. What should I do?

Try resetting your settings. Settings > General > Reset.
I had this happen shortly after updating and it worked when I reset.
Doesn't delete anything though.

my 4S was also affected following the iOS 8.0 update, really slow. A restore from backup (done just before restoring) solved that.I don't think 8.0.2 will help, it's not meant to fix this, while a restore from backup will reinstate settings and data properly, getting you rid of unneeded junk left by the upgrade (temp stuff etc...).

Most of your purchases content can be downloaded again via the Purchased tabs in each of the store. I realize that this will be a problem for the iTunes Store on the iPad, but that has nothing to do with apps, since apps are in the App Store.
If you backed up synced with iTunes before you restored the iPad, your content should be in iTunes on your Mac and you should be able to sync it back again.

Most likely it's a hardware failure if it's both WiFi and BlueTooth. There are some strange suggestions to try; if these don't work take it to an Apple store for exchange. If it's out of warranty it will cost $199.
Turn off Cellular Data, reboot the phone. try to turn on WiFi.
Put it in a ziplock bag with the air squeezed out, then in a freezer for 15 minutes (yes, this is not a joke).
The opposite: Heat it with a hair dryer for a couple of minutes.
All of these have worked for someone, but not for most.

IOS 7.0.3 caused my iPhone 4s wifi problem.

My wifi mac is still on, so it looks like cooling off won't work. I can't believe I considered putting my iphone into the freezer to solve a wifi problem! Any updates on this issue?

No, you didn't ask a question. You posted a rant. The word "why" does not appear anywhere in your original post. For that matter, there isn't even a question mark in your original post.
As for why chey can't help you, that's because Apple, like many international companies, operates as separate legal entities in different countries. There are financial and regulatory issues with moving stock from country to country (including service parts).
The models of the iPhone sold in the US are not available in other countries, and since Apple does not repair iPhones, they only replace them, there is no way for Apple in Europe to service your US iPhone, just as a European iPhone can not be serviced in the US.

basically i wanted to download the new ios 8 on my iphone 5c, i did not have enough memory and was unable to get onto a laptop/pc. i went onto settings>icloud>storage&backup>back up over wifi. i enable back up over wifi so when connected to wifi it will automatically back up, anyway after enabling this i pressed back up now and it backed my iphone up. i then started to delete apps and PHOTOS to get enough space, i then was able to get onto a laptop and tried to restore my iphone but it would not let me . it said i had to download ios 8 first then it would restore my device so i tried this and it will not download the new update, i still dont have enough memory to download the update but i do not want to delete more photos if i will be un able to get them back.
basically if i delete more photos to make enough space for ios 8, and then restore my iphone will i get all of the photos, apps and games i had before i started to delete them (baring in mind i did back up my iphone over wifi)
please help getting very worried over this, thanks

Have her create a new ID.   Here: https://appleid.apple.com/
Have her log out of iMessage/Facetime/iCloud on her device.   Now have her use the new ID she has created.
That should keep the 2 of you separated, except for iTunes purchases.   You can share that ID in a family up to 5 devices.
