Are you getting an error message?
I would try creating an Hp Connected account.

If the message says that the maximum number of free iCloud accounts has already been created, you won't be able to create a new iCloud account on that phone. You can sign into an existing iCloud account, but not create a new one. Pressing the Home button twice does not show you what apps are running. It shows you what apps were recently used.
Download a free app from the App Store. Once it downloads, your other apps should work properly again. -

Reloading Firefox and using the same Page has no effect what-so-ever.

lockhands.i visit the same page and got the same message except the popup blocker was blocking the sign in page from loading.
you could try using the following link to see if you can get to the login screen if it works you could add it as a bookmark until you find a solution.

Do you not see the sign in sheet?

And if you have anti virus software installed, disable that before trying to access the App Store.
If you have Litlte Snich installed, that can prevent access to the App Store.
Keep in mind, you can't update your existing apps from another Apple ID if you create a new account. -

I had talked with three people at Apple tech support on the phone, one person in the Apple store in Indianapolis, plus the other places I mentioned. Only the one young man in the Apple store was even able to identify the problem which was the POP vs. IMAP issue. And then like you said he was only able to say he hoped it would be fixed in the next update release. I did call him back this morning and told him about your simple solution, that I had seen it at the Apple forum, and that he might suggest bringing this topic up at the next staff meeting. I also let my Verizon rep know and an agent at Comcast. Something so simple yet it took three days and a lot of frustration to get fixed. Thanks again. You're my hero! ~ Carol Thomas
Also forgot to mention ... I got the iPhone 6 Plus about three weeks ago and did not have this problem. But I did a backup of my iPhone 5S on the computer and then used that backup to restore to my new iPhone. The iPad I did differently and just set it up as a new iPad with no restoring from the old one. That must have made a difference on the phone because it was set up just like the 5S ... as a POP3. -

This error looks like a carrier message. Does this person have an iOS device? It appears not, but this looks like an SMS error. I suggest that you contact your carrier to see if they can explain the error.

Facetime will not allow me to sign in

My daughter has been using Facetime on her iPod Touch but now it will not allow her to sign in saying incorrect username/password. We have changed her Apple ID and password and still it will not work.
When she is connected to iTunes she is getting an update message to update the iPod software to version 5. When I press update I then get a message saying we need to download iTunes 10.5. I then accept that but nothing happens. Nothing. Not even an error message.
So we are getting nowhere. Tried changing the wifi DNS on the iPod to 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 and that didn't work.
I'm stuck now ... please help!Forgot to mention that I have restored the iPod back to original settings and it still doesn't work.
I'm starting to lose the will to live now ... I've been trying to sort it for hours -

After installing any version of itunes. Told failed to install properly and could not burn or import music from Cd's. Also will not allow eithre one of my 2 ipods to sync with it as well.
Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
