IPhone 4s will not recognize wi-fi signals

My iPhone 4s will not recognize or connect to any wi-fi. I've rebooted phone and my personal router, but this did not work. Phone is not recognizing wi-fi in public places with free wi-fi or other private signals. Any help?

Try this: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings (Will delete all saved wifi passwords) but, it might work

I have just now tried the Reinstall via iTunes, about 20 into the download, the iTunes logo on the phone disappeared, and the Apple Logo appeared again,,, I waited until the iTunes stated that the download had finished, and the install was in progress,,,
Nothing happened, still the Apple Logo was visual on the screen, iTunes never recognised the phone which it was on my iTunes account previously,,,
Still just a bunch of lines, maybe 5 or 6 so small writing,, I personally can not read what it is telling me, someone said it reads, incorrect shutdown,,,????????

The first thing I would check is to make sure that the router is using the recommended settings to get online. Another troubleshooting step is to create a new Network Location and then join your network to see if that changes things.

okay from reading posts it seems if I transfer my backed up info from my old comp to the new one and erase my dad's phone's back up i could reset my phone and it would transfer all my old data back onto the phone, be linked to the new computer and i could proceed. My iphone 4s when I first recieved the phone it will just turn off and will not recognize the attempt to reset/restart the phone. Now the phone will not recogize the attempt to charge. I tried different cords, outlets, cord base things, and even the computer. When I plugged my phone into the computer it recognized the charge only when the phone was off. When the phone turned itself back on it no lo0nger recongnized the charge. The computer then popped up with a message that said device malfunctioned pc will not recognized device. What should I do? When I took the phone multiple times to my service provider about the previous problems they said "Oh, thats technology for ya!" Any advice?

It is an unlocked iPhone purchased directly from one of Apple store online in Asia.
I am currently traveling in Asia and using a local SIM card.
All of a sudden today, it will not charge on my laptop. It still charges on the wall plug. I suspect that it has to do with me plugging the phone into another public but older PC (running Windows XP) - was attempting to charge my phone but that public PC did not show that it was charging or recognizing the iPhone.
It will not charge or sync no matter what I do. I tried using the power button + home button. I tried holding the home button then plugging in the USB cable. I tried erasing all the data on the phone. All of the above failed.
Now I have the screen where it shows that I have to plug in the USB cable to activate my phone!

The first day the IOS 7 came out, I downloaded it. This past weekend I put a lot of new songs on my library and now I wish to sync them on my Iphone. I can plug my Iphone into my computer and it will charge. When I unlock my Iphone it will ask me if I can trust my computer. Everytime I atempt syncing I have tried unpluging and pluginging it back in. It just asks me again. I went into my General settings, and to the part where it says "Sync over wifi". It says I need to connect my Iphone and nothing happens. It tells me the last time I synced it to the computer so I dont understand why it wont do anything. Is there something I missed? I have all the current softwears on both my Iphone and Itunes.

IPhone 4S will not recognize Q2 BlueAnt

I got the iPhone 4S back in October and it would not recognize the Q2 BlueAnt Bluetooth. I read somewhere online (can't find it now) how to get it synced up by pressing and holding some buttons in some fashion, but now it escapes me. My phone was stolen and replaced but now I can't get this new phone to recognize the Q2. I know there is some sort of sequence I should be doing (think of Nintendo's "Contra" code) but I can't find it anywhere. Any help?

I just upgraded from iPhone 3GS to 4S. Initially the 4S could not find the bluetooth and the bluetooth could not find the phone.
To get the 4S to recognize my Blueant Q2, I had to clear the pair list on the BlueAnt.

This didn't work on my first try; I had to carefully observe the instructions to quickly press all three buttons at once (vol +, vol -, and master control), without holding them down. BlueAnt needs to announce that it has been reset. After that, it immediately appeared on my phone's Bluetooth list.

HD Insginia that will not recognize the cable signal

I have an HD insignia TV that is hooked up to an HD cable box with an HDMI cable. When reboot he cablebox, it sees it and it fine. But as soon as I turn off the TV for a second, it does not recognize the cable when the TV is turned back on. It says "not compatible". Id I reboot, it is again fine but I cannot turn off the TV and turn it back on. DVD and VCR both work fine.

Unfortunately its a common problem. There is a problem with the HDCP Handshake between the tv and the cable box. (See Link) Basically what it means is that you tv doesn't see the box unless it was turned on first (the tv) and the cable box follows. There are a couple things you can try. First you can try updating you tv firmware, this is done through the manufacturer's website, with the aid of a usb thumbdrive. The other option is to see if your cable provider has a newer cable box available to you. More times than not cable companies recycle boxes for years.

If it connects to 3G, it's connected to the phone network. 3G carries both voice and data. Your phone can't show BOTH 3G and No Service at the same time.

If you delete the 1080p version from iTunes (but rescue the file from the trash in case you need it in the future), then go to iTunes Preferences and change download option to SD or 720p HD you should be able to redownload from the cloud under the Store's Purchased section.
I used to download SD and both HD formats but of late I use the AppleTV 1 less and only get the 1080p HD, though should probably getthe other versions in case I need them one day as they may not be there forever. It's fiddly to download all 3 formats as you have to mess around with settings but can be done.
I like to have a copy as there is no guarantee the files will be in iTunes cloud forever.

I purchased this phone from an apple store... it was a refurb. The bluetooth stopped working soon after the warranty was up. I have tryied almost everything short of taking it apart and swaping out the MB.(?)
I have several bluetooth headsets none are 'discovered'. I have tried updating software, tuning bluetooth off and on. and restoring the phone.. ( which is a royal pain!)..
I am wondering if there is any tricks to getting the phone to do a systems check,find a problem and show an error code.. or what part I would actually need to replace..??

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)
