IPhone 4S wireless

Ever since I updated my 4S with new iOS 7.02 I have not been able to log into my Netgear N600 wireless dual band router. I've reset my network settings, rebooted my wireless router and entered my wireless network password and still receiving "unable to join network". Wireless router does not seem to be the issue since my wife has a 4S that works fine as well as my iPad 3, iMac, printer and my wife's iPad 2. My wife' settings and mine seem to be identical. Any ideas or remedies?

When you buy your new iMac you will be able to have the installation process transfer all your applications, data (including music, pictures, documents, etc) and settings to your new computer. In the past that was done via Firewire. I'm not entirely sure of the process with the new iMacs that don't have firewire. I think it can be done via ethernet and probably via tha thunderbolt cord using a firewire adapter but you'll want to check that out.
    With the your new computer properly connected to your old computer, the initial booting of the new computer will include the ability to move everything over.
    If for some reason you don't want to do that (smart if you have some horrible software issue that is causing problems) you can connect your old computer to the new one and start it in Target Disk mode where it will be seen as a hard drive. You can then manually copy over all your music and import that into iTunes (and any other data you want).
    Somebody here will surely point you to directions for connecting an older iMac with no Thunderbolt to a newer iMac with no Firewire.

I got my ipone4S from USA about a year back. 2 days back just found my wifi button got greyed and it not working since then even after restroring my said phone.
I had spoken with Apple customer care in India & also visited to authorised service centers. After evaluating my phone, they all are saying that its not a software problem & its a hardware problem. Above that my phone is also heating up like anything. I am afraid it may not burst anyday and brings our lives in to danger.
Can i replace my iPhone 4S Wireless antenna in India and get my phone again in working condition & how to resolve this heating problem.

The iPhone is not user servicable. There are no legitimate sources for iPhone parts. All iPhone parts you will be able to find are either counterfeit, stolen, or salvaged from other iPhones. Your phone can not be serviced at any authorized servicer outside of the US. Either take it back to the US or send it to someone you know there to take it in to Apple and have it replaced.

It give me a very slow connection (less then 5bits /sec) with an average of 72 hours to download. How can I fix this. iTunes 10.5, iP 4.3.5. When I ty to cancel it, I m not able to do it. iPhone was hacked/jailbroken and through updating iPhone, it is locked back to the original carrier. Give your iPhone back, it is useless for you.

Airport, Airport Express, iPhone & PS3 wireless network will this work?

Hi I need help with the above,
I've got an iMac 15" G4 800Mhz, it is fitted with a standard airport card, the G4 is connected to the internet via ethernet to a Zyxel P-600 Series ADSL modem. I have also been streaming itunes (using airtunes) to a seperate hi-fi amp in another room using an Airport Express Base Station, THIS ALL WORKS.
I have since bought an iPhone and a Playstaion3 (PS3) and want this all to work together but does not. It would seem that the Airport Express Base Station is the dominant part of this network and I want to change this priority. No matter how far I delve I cannot find the answer. Basically I want the following setup:
iMac G4 (with Airport Card) that is connected to the internet via ethernet to be the 'main Base Station' (not the Airport Express as is currently), I then want to continue streaming Airtunes to the Airport Express and also use this device as a booster for the wireless network. The reason for the new wireless setup is to enable the iPhone to connect to the Internet (the iphone currently sees the network but cannot connect to the internet because the Airport Express is NOT connected to the ADSL Modem), I also want the PS3 to connect to this network.
Am I asking too much of the Airport Card (The one in the G4)? or should I simply buy the new Airport Extreme Base Station and start again?
Any help would really be appreciated, Paul

That situation is possible.
If so can I set up the AX to just stream music and then use an Airport Extreme Base Station hard wired to the ADSL Modem and the iMAc and connect the iPhone and PS3 to the internet via the AEBS wi-fi network. Essentially creating one wi-fi network for iPhone/ PS3 wireless connection and a seperate Airtunes network for wireless music streaming, or am I just dreaming, cheers for your help.
Sure you can do that. But then you will have to decide if you want to stream music OR you want to be on the internet. Your computers can't connect to both at the same time.
You probably want to do the above, but configure your AX to join the wireless network provided by the AEBS. Then you will only have a single wireless network and you can stream music, print, and surf the internet all at the same time.

However they all show to be connected with their corresponding bars and the ip's are all fine. Earlier today it started flucuating on and off about every 5 min making work impossible and now it seems to be completely broken (im currently on my iphone connected though its own internet) Does anyone know how or ehy this happened and how i can fix this? And to know if this originates from the router or something else entirely. Thank you!

Hi - some clarifications would help narrow down some symptoms - just what has been turning off? - has the light been solid green but the modem isn't providing wi-fi? - or is the light flashing yellow with no internet? - which can mean several things - does the light go out completey? - so if you can report on exactly what is happenening and when, maybe someone can help you - we also need to know if there any error messages along the way - we also need the types of devices involved and how they are attached - kind of like a nework map - the more info that you provide, the more answers you will get.

I am wondering if it is possible to move music from itunes to iphone 4 wirelessly. I know that it is possible to move music purchased FROM ITUNES to different devices wirelessly. But what if I import a cd from my collection?
So I guess my real question is: Is it possible to move music NOT PURCHASED FROM ITUNES and already in my library, to my iPhone 4 wirelessly? If so, how?

If you had enabled find-my-iPhone before it was lost, you could track it as long as it had a data connection - either 3G or wifi, doesn't matter which just so long as the iPhone and the iCloud servers can talk to each other. But, in order to track it at all, you need to enable the find setting under your iCloud account's settings on the iPhone before it goes missing.
After it has been lost (and without the tracking setting enabled), with or without a data connection, there is nothing you can do to track it remotely.

New iPhone 5 wireless security problem

I have just discovered hat I cannot use several PC and Macbook devices on my wireless network if I am using WPA/AES security. I have turned security off completely and all works ok and tomorrow when I have hours to spare I will try WEP. Can this really be true? Can Apple really get things so wrong? Does anyone know of a way to fix this this and use WPA?

Mac Book not detecting iPhone 4 wirelessly

My Mac Book has recently stopped detecting my iPhone wirelessly. When I first got my iPone, it was detected in the 'devices' section of iTunes, however recently this seems to have stopped working.
Not sure if this is related, but Vuse has also stopped detecting the playstation in its devices section. Again, this was detecting the device, but has now stopped doing so.
Any assistance would be much appreciated- I am quite confused.

No, it cannot. This is called tethering and is not supported by iphone or AT&T. There was an article on CNet that it may happen sometime in 2009.
