Iphone 4s wont connect to itunes but charges on computer
i have an iphone 4s that we have had since august 2011 we had problems with it i am not sure what cause it was my brothers at that time so telstra sent it away in janurary 2012 we got it back about 6 months later and we hadnt used it since till i plugged it in to charge in feburary 2013 and once it charged i then got a sim and that for it in march and started using it has my phone but i havent been able to get it to pick up in itunes since i updated it in december 2012 when i first got it to charge when we had it back and once i updated it and that it worked fine itunes picked it up etc and then i update dmy itunes so its on 11.0.2 and my iphone 4s is on the latest update which is ios 6.1.3 but itunes wont pick it up can anyone help me please i need to back it up and i cant any other way

- Try another USB port
- Try on another cable. Again I doubt it will do anything
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

Iphone 4s wont connect to Itunes.
I recently updated iTunes to 12 on my computer and now my iPhone 4s wont connect to the computer but my iPad Air will.
I deleted and re-installed iTunes, (I'm running windows 8.1)
The software is updated on my phone (ios 8.1)
I've reset location and privacy settings and network settings on my phone
Restarted both the phone and my laptop
Re started the apple mobile service device
Checked that my security software isn't stopping iTunes which it isnt.
Tried all the USB ports on my laptop
I'm still using my original iPhone cable
And it still wont connect, every time i plug it into the computer it just comes up with
"trust this computer" no matter how many times i click trust it doesn't accept my phone so that i can access it.
Any ideas anyone?

My iphone 3gs will no longer let me try passcodes and it only says "Iphone is disabled connect to itunes" well, when I connect it to my laptop, itunes says "could not connect to phone because it is locked with a passcode. you must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes" Please help!!! I have tried resetting it and all the tricks I know. Nothing works. Thanks

Iphone wont connect to itunes but will connect to computer?
I have just purchased my iphone on the 19th May 2012 and when i plug it in to connect it to my itunes to sync it, it will connect to my computer but no matter how much i try and how much i do what the troubleshooting articles tell me to do it just wont connect so i cant sync my iphone with my itunes and i would really like to be able to do this soon..how do i solve this problem?!
You either pay Apple to do it (usually you will get a replacement refurbished phone). Make sure to BACK IT UP first before taking it in. Plug into a computer that has the latest iTunes, do a sync and confirm the existence of the backup in iTunes / Preferences / Devices. If they give you a replacement, plug it back into the same computer and do a Restore to recover your stuff.

My new iPhone 5 won't seem to connect ti iTunes on my MacBook Air. I plug it in and it charges fine, however I get the following error message. The phone recognizes my iTunes account in that it's on match and I have access to music and such, but it doesn't show up on in iTunes on my computer. Help!
Are you connecting to a USB hub, or directly to the MBA? If you are using a hub, don't.
Do you have the latest version of iTunes? That's 11.3 as of today's date.
