Iphone 5 activation - I really dont know what to do, not on a developer account
Hey everyone, I lost my iphone 5 and recently found it, when i went to update it to ios7.0.4 it says I have an activation error, in the summer my brother convinced me to put the ios7 beta on and now it wont let me update to the legitimate version. Please help, really need to get my phone working!
You do have a serious problem. Unfortunately, we can't assist with beta software here in the open forums. Perhaps your brother could help??

IF you forget your email and password and you are stuck in the activation process, it usually gives you a clue on what is your email like w********[email protected] If you really own the phone, you already have a clue on what is that email add. Then go to appleid.apple.com, click on manage my device, enter what you think is your email addy (no harm in trying that it wont lock) then click on i forget password. This will give you an option to either sent the password to an alternate email. If you have several, then sad to say you have to open it one by one and check including your spam mails. Another option is to answer some security questions you made while creating an apple id. Your last option is to call apple support. If you know the email add and you can prove ownership, they can reset the password for you

I really dont know whats wrong to put in the title
before i say much, i am using another computer, not the one thats messed up. also, the one thats messed up is a play computer. if it never worked again nothing would be lost, so there no worries about data and files.
i have mcafee, and have run virus scans, its clean
first time it messed up happened like this. google chome said something like the profile was outdated or something like that. no biggie, i just redownloaded it again. then it locked up, and couldnt get past the windows logo on start up. finally after reading online, typing in numerous keywords, i managed to reset it to a previous point, before i redownloaded google. it keeps trying to do that thing where it repairs the files on startup. ive tried to let it do that, but it never finishes and i have to restart.
it keeps saying in the bottem corner of the screen saying that the file c is corupt or not working or something like that i cant remeber.
if i try to start it in safe mode but it get to a certain file, \windows\system32\DRIVERS\CLASSPNP.SYS just like that. in any of the 2 safe mode options its always stops at that file.
when i try to start it in onekey recovery, eaither by letting it reboot or starting it in onkey it comes to the green grass scene and stops there, givein me no options to reset it to factory settings. i know this is wrong because i tried it in the computer i am using now and everything works.
i read that windows can get damaged, so i bought and downloaded a copy of windows but the bad computer wouldnt read the root file.
any suggestions on how to reset it to factory settings would be very appreciated! i just dont know enough about it to figure it out on my own,
also as a side note, i have not changed anything like files or anything, i do know better than that!

If you have not created the factory recovery DVD's then that what you should attempt if it works. The tool is in the Lenvo Tools.

Run in Safe mode. I could be your HD is dying and the Lenovo diagnostic can determine that.
You have not specified the model and configuration of the notebook etc. If you atempt an install from a generic windows DVD you will blow away the ability to recover or generate the DVD's

I have a 3 year old MB, and recently i formatted it for the 1. time, so it was clean. The problem i'm having is, that i also own a Ipod Classic, which where connected to my computer, which i had downloaded games for (thru iTunes Store), now when i plug-in my iPod, i want to transfer my purchases from the Ipod to my computer (i have reconnected my iTunes account with the computer, but not sure its Authorized), but then it says it cant!..
My girlfriends iPod was also connected to my computer before i formatted it, i also purchased games for this iPod. Can i get these games transfered to her iPod, when she connects it to her own computer (a Windows Vista)?

When you say you have unlocked it in India, did Verizon supply you with an unlock code because you met all of their requirements to receive an unlock code, such as being on a Verizon plan which has been in existence for at least 60 days and have no payment problems? After Verizon unlocked your phone, did you complete your contract(which would actually put you outside of the warranty period), or have you left the US, returned to India and have canceled your Verizon contract and paid the ETF, or have failed to pay the ETF?
Or did you unlock the phone via other methods, which voids the warranty, and now expect Verizon to give you another phone? -

If you've jailbroken your phone, and that error usually means you have, you won't be able to restore a stock iOS using iTunes.
You can fix, but you'll have to go elsewhere for help. There is no support for jailbroken iPhones here. -

They're not easy to follow if you're not computer savvy. Do you have someone at home who can assist and take you through the steps?
There is also a simple thing you can try such as trying another port on your computer. Some ports are not connected direct to the motherboard and do not recognize the iPod as well as those that are. Reset the iPod each time you connect it to another port.
The error means that the computer is having a hard time writing data to the iPod's hard drive, and there could be many reasons for this.
How about taking the iPod to an Apple store? Isn't there one at the Trafford centre? -

Yes, this is activation lock. Return the phone for a refund, as it is useless without the activation information of the previous owner.

I just recently purchased 3 songs from itunes not knowing that I had no money on my debit card (visa) left. My iphone wont let me update my apps and says that there was a billing problem with my last purchase. I dont know what I am supposed to do! I dont understand why it worked in the first place when it wasn't supposed to!
There seems to be a billing problem with the iTS. I've been trying to make purchases today (Dec 9th) too and it reports either the iTS can not process payments or it says my card was declined. I even changed the payment method to Paypal (which is never declined) and still no go.
I don't think it is "you" but a problem at Apple. Some popular new apps were released recently like Logic Pro and perhaps they're getting bombarded as they did when Lion was released.

Bad idea.
Content bought with an Apple ID is forever associated with that Apple ID. Apple will not transfer content from one Apple ID to another and Apple will not merge Apple IDs. Unless you are prepared to forfeit all the previously purchased content and buy it all again with the new Apple ID, you will need to maintain the old ID to update and redownload your content. -

Duplication when downloding from iTunes
