Iphone 5 and itunes problems
hi,
Everytime I plug my iphone 5 into my computer to sync my itunes libary to my phone, my phone is not detected by itunes. Although, when I do plug in my phone my laptop does recognise my iphone and my phone does ask me if I want to trust the computer but in itunes my phone just doesn't appear. I have tried deleting and re-installing itunes but that did not work.

After upgrading to IOS 7 on my iPhone 4 and iTunes 11 on my PC, I plugged my iPhone into my PC and got the error message that I needed to install iTunes 11 on my iPhone. Any suggestions?
You got it downloaded and I assume you mean it is installed as well. It was buggy for me.
I had to close and restarted iTunes before I could use it properly.
Then, I had to unplug and replug in my phone before it recognises it.
Just had to try everything. As final choice, update over the air. I try to avoid it as it tends to have more problems than a tethered update. -
Never had any probs before , love my Iphone 4 and Itunes, now I can't run Itunes on my win Vista Prem, and in turn can't update my Iphone!!!So dissapointed!!!!!!
I've the same problem, and this pops up when i'm trying to open itunes..... i tried installing and unistalling like 5 times ... i download the version for windows 32bits, i have w7 32bts, and just keep poping up that sh****

How to sync iPhone 4 and iTunes 11?
Yesterday I've made lots of app updates (of my iPhone apps), and I've also downloaded an app, everything via iTunes 11. Now, I want to sync them to my iPhone 4. That's it.
However, iTunes doesn't seem to detect my iPhone. I've read on posts and threads that I should click the 'iPhone' button on the top-right corner, but I don't see it. I tried closing and re opening iTunes as well as turning off and on my iPhone and nothing. In the iPhone it says it's charging so I guess the cable is correctly attached.
I've been struggling for hours, and I can't find a way to access my iPhone from iTunes. I tried logging in and out with my two accounts. There's that item File -> Devices on the main menu, but all the options there, including 'Sync', are grayed-out. I pressed cmd+opt+S to see the sidebar, but it doesn't show my iPhone there. If I click on Apps, on the sidebar, I see the list of all m apps, all up to date, but there's no 'Sync' button at the bottom, just a 'Get More Apps' button.
I've been trying a lot of things unsuccessfully, often ending on the app store facing a bunch of crap and ads like they're begging me to buy stuff.
Please, why does it have to be so complicated?
Why does Apple has to make me feel like a ********, both because I can't complete such a simple task and because I'm constantly assailed with ads forcing me to buy things that I have no interest?
That's overwhelmingly pathetic, it makes me want to wacth TV, seriously.

Does anyone know how to solve why the apps sync starts installing apps on the IPhone, blue bar gets to mid point for each app (even 1 app) then hangs i.e. fully clears the blue bar as if it hasn't started. Occurs on cable connection and Wifi sync.
This then stops you from installing any apps as the hung app shows installing but not doing anything.
Installing new apps is fine however.

Updated Iphone 4 and Itunes 11.. cannot update checked music and apps
Computer uses Windows 7.
Iphone is a version 4 with IOS 6.0.1 loaded.
Itunes is the latest version of 11.
I noticed my new Ipad mini has no issue with connecting to Itunes and it does read what apps I want removed and added.
The Iphone 4 however is having issues. I notice that Itunes locks up a lot which could possibly be an issue with the computer but unclear.
I have certain songs checked..when going into the music section prior to connecting the phone.
When the phone is connected I can see the settings for the phone and in the general part I have tried different configurations.. I tried sync checked audio and video only...I have redone it with checking manually control of music/video.
I noticed based on which of those two are checked it will either check or uncheck the actual sync box in the music tab for the phone. If in the music tab of the phone that is checked....it gives me different things to click like "Band" or "Album" and still disregards any selection I make there and will not change the present music in the phone.
My issue is overall it completely disregarding the audio selections and keeping whatever audio is on the phone where its at. It will not add the new CDs I purchased to the phone even though they are checked in Itunes. The apps are not updating either...In the phones app tab it says it will remove apps but does not and will not add other either.
Version 10.7 seemed to be glitchy for me as well...it seemed I had to do 2 syncs to get it to accept my choices but would accept them.

Hi When I am in Itunes on my Windows 7 computer with my ipone connected (5s latest) it syncs OK I then click on the iphone icon and itunes stops working and I have to close down? all software is latest version? can any one help?

Error when syncing music with iphone 3g and itunes
Does anyone know how to fix the "unknown error -69" when trying to sync iphone 3g and itunes. I have plenty of memory but certain songs will error and then all others after that one errors. So annoying can any one help?
A couple of things that might help out.
Open computer management by clicking on start and right clicking on my computer, then choose manage.
When the computer management window opens, expand services and applications on the left.
Click on services and see if Apple Mobile Device is running on the right.
If it is not running, or is not set to automatic, try starting it.
Also if apple mobile devise is not installed or will not start, this article might help out uninstalling and reinstalling itunes.

If the apple mobile device is installed and will just not start, try uninstalling your security software.
Once uninstalled, restart your computer.
Once the computer is restarted, open computer management to see if apple mobile device will start.

I bought a new computer because my other computer was failing. I want to link my iPhone, iPad and iTunes to this computer. I transferred my iTunes library to the new computer files but don't know how to put them INTO the iTunes library that I have set up on the new computer.

I have iphone 5 and itunes on my windows laptop. Recently i back-uped my iphone and started using my iphone as a new one. But all the photos were in the back-up. So i just want to restore the photos. Since my laptop is windows, i cant get them by iphotos.
I was thinking that if i can sync just the photos to my iphone from by back-up, i can get the photos from iphone by transfering the files to my laptop.But i couldnt figure out how to sync just the "photos" of the whole back-up.
Do you have a better idea for getting the pics from the back-up? If not, can you help me by the option i suggested?

If you want to restore data from a backup to your iPhone, you will need to restore the full backup, as you cannot select what items to be restored to an iPhone.

Iphone cable and itunes sign after update to 6.0
It had a picture of a iphone cable and itunes sign prior maybe I need to plug it into itunes.
Solution?When I got the "connect to itunes" screen I connected to iTunes and restored. Then when I plugged it back into the TV it still showed me the same "connect to itunes" with the flashing led. I did this twice to no avail. Then I just disconnected the power and reconnected and then it rebooted. I thought maybe I should have done that in the first instance itself. Hence the suggestion to disconnect power and reconnect when the "connect to itunes" is displayed. But it looks like maybe you have to really connect to iTunes.
