I want an Apple made official case for the iPhone 5 like the bumper for iPhone 4 or Smart Case/Cover for iPad !!

Hi - as far my research goes, Apple designed the iPhone5 to be used without a case so I doubt that they would ever come out with one - but this info is not directly from Apple - so if you haven't done so already, I suggest that you check with the Apple Store and see if they can tell you if one will be available in the future - http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_iphone - I have an inexpensive bumper case from www.monoprice.com - it is fine and other manufacturers have similiar products - but some of the cases have problems with the lightning connector and adapters so check the return policy before you buy.

A few weeks ago, I bought the brown official 5s leather case. For a while, it held up perfectly and looked flawless. Yes, I know it's natural leather and says "appearance will change as you use it", but this is where my problem comes in. Ever since then, the edges and corners of the case looks like they've been stripped of the dye entirely. I haven't kept it in any tight pockets, or anywhere that would make the color rub off. Is this something that a good cleaning will fix or is there something the warranty can do?

Apple will never reveal that info to you, since you were not the originally purchaser. However, you can get the date of sale by entering the SN here:

Warranty starts on the date of sale, which is most likely the date of activation, but not necessarily so.

I recently read the article about shooting commercials of apple product.

Surprisingly, photos of commercials or homepage are not just a 3D rendering.
What I need to know is, whether the images of iphone 5 in the "iphone 5 official video" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNM8XyMH5qw) which was played in 2012 special event, september, is also "real picture" or 3D rendering.
I'm attatching screen shots of the video which I want to know if real picture or 3d rendering.
Of course, I know it's been re-touched or color-adjusted after taken evenif it's real picture.
What I want to know is whether the screenshots im attatching is based on "real" video of the product, or just totally 3D graphics which is made by computer without camera.
ps, honestly I'm not sure this forum can help me with this issue.
If it doesn't help with this issue, could you tell me which department I should ask to for help??

Has Apple changed the design of the iPhone 6 silicone case?

I need to purchase a new case for my iPhone 6, i was going to purchase the black silicone case, however the reviews say the case starts peeling after a few months.
Does anyone know if Apple has changed the design of this case since it was released, to fix the peeling issue? Also for people who have purchased one in the last few months, has your case started peeling?

I exactly measured the weight on a kitchen scale. It weighs 17 grams. The iPhone 6 (64GB Black T-Mobile) weighs 126 grams on my scale. So it does add 13.5% weight to the iPhone. It also adds 2mm to the thickness (6.9mm to 8.9mm). But the protection is actually very good for this amount of small bulk (search youtube for the 10 feet drop test video, where almost zero damage happens to both the iPhone and the case). The case has a premium soft-touch feel in hand, much better than the cheap plastic feel of third-party case in my view. The case can be easily cleaned by a damp cloth and shows zero wear after a month use.

Outside of the US, some carriers sold unlocked iPhone 3GSs as per the laws of the country in which they operated. At no time has the iPhone 3GS (or any iPhone prior to the iPhone 4) been available unlocked in the US, nor will it be unlocked. You can pay full retail price or complete a contract term, but no iPhone will be unlocked by AT&T. You can buy an unlocked iPhone 4 from Apple and use it any where, but you will pay full retail price for the phone.

IPhone 5s leather case: gone wrong because of low quality, can I get it replaced or a refund?

I bought Apple iPhone 5s leather case, and after three weeks I noticed that is broken (it cannot be seen visually), and I suppose that this case is not the right quality as Apple ussualy provide. Do I have any chance to get a refund or simply to get it replaced to new one?

Apple changes the case.
IN my situation it was that the case was broken near the earphones plug.
BUt if you are considering whether buy or not the leather case, i can tell you that case will change its color. I dont know anout black, i have brown, it becomes more brown as i use it. I suppose the case has top layes and when you use it the top layer goes off and you have final layer.
ON my brown case the used color is darker brown.
I Like this case, it looks luxurious, as it is.

Unfortunately, the only other way is to update the phone. If it is not officially unlocked, then it will relock.
According to this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937 about the wireless carriers, if the phone was purchased in UAE, it very well may be locked to a carrier and it does not show that they provide unlocking services.

I have been informed by ElementCASE, you will be able to add your own engraving to there product later on down the line.
I would like this product if it has the same bottom as the Apple Bumper as in has 3 holes in the bottom(1 for the speaker, mic and charger) rather then one big hole. also the removal of the logo which i take it will happen when they allow us to engrave own logo's or name in.
I am sure you have all seen this case befor. Has anyone on here received this case yet from the 1st pre-order?

Why is it in someone else's name?
Did you get this iPhone from that someone else?
If so they should have released the iPhone form their account before giving it to you.
All purchases made with that account will be forever tied to it and will require it to update in the case of Apps.
If nothing has been purchased, you can go into Settings->iTunes & App Stores->Apple ID and sign out of their account there , and sign in with your own.

This is a user-to-user technical support forum. There is no one here from Apple to answer "why". Again, I would recommend contacting the manufacturers or use the Contact Us link at the bottom right of every page for information on how to contact Apple directly.
I suspect that manufacturers may view the more standard microUSB charging port as a selling point. Those types of cables are cheaper and ubiquitous.

Large cradle to fit iPhone with a case or cover?

I have an ifrogz case on my new iPhone. However, now it does not fit into a charging cradle that I had hoped to use; none if the inserts are large enough to accept the iPhone with the case on. Does anyone know of a cradle type charger that has a larger "mouth" for this purpose?

I'm not familiar with your case specifically, but I had the same problem using any of the cases I liked. Your best option is to either use the Apple Universal dock and just don't use any of the inserts or you can use the Griffin Powerdock 2 without any of the inserts. The Griffin is actually much cheaper. It doesn't double as a sync cable, but I don't use mine for that anyway. The Apple universal dock plus a power plug is $49 + $29 = $78 while the Grffin is $24.99.
With either one, just leave out the inserts for the iPhone. It could potentially be hazardous as you don't really have any support around the phone, so if you pushed it back really hard you might snap off the part that plugs into the phone, but I still think that could happen if you have the little plastic adapter in there for support.

When the iPhone 6 was released, I bought the Apple Silicon case. After several months of normal usage, the silicon is really warn out (especially on the bottom corners) and the underlying plastic starts to show.

Thank you for the question. It sounds like you are curious about how iCloud stores your photos. Photo Stream stores your photos temporarily so that you can have time to sync them to your computer, but the photos will expire after 30 days:
