IPhone 5 battery getting stuck at 100%
I recently got an iPhone 5 16GB as a gift, and I love it. I have only charged it 5 times and the lowest I've let the battery get so far is 14%. However the one problem i've been having is that two of the five total times i've charged it, the battery percentage will be stuck at 100% for about 2-3 hours even after moderate to heavy use before it starts to show that it's going down. The only conclusion I have for this is that the lowest I've let the battery get is 14% and not completely drained yet. Would charging the phone to 100% then letting it get so low that it turns itself off fix this issue?
Depending upon what you consider to be "moderate to heavy use" what you are seeing might be normal. I charge my iPhone 5 every night, many mornings, it goes 1-1.5 hours before it drops form 100%. I don't use my iPhone all the time, but I do tend to use it to look at emails in teh morning beofer I get to the office. In the 1.5 hours after I unplug it, it may have 10-15 minutes of "screen on time" before the battery meter shows it dropping from 100%. I suspect that there is nothing wrong with your iPhone or battery, it is just that you might not be sued to the battery efficiency the iPhone 5 has in comparison to older iPhone models.

IPhone 5 gets stuck in screen-off mode

Recently (within past 2 months) I've noticed that my iPhone will get stuck in the screen-off mode.
I'll be using the phone normally. I'll push the screen-off button (top right button). Then later, (whether it's 1 minute or an hour) when I go to turn the screen back on by either pushing the 'Home butoon' or Top right button, nothing happens.
I'll push and push and push both buttons. All I get is a Big Fat Nothing.
Sometimes if I leave it for a minutes, then push the button, it comes on. Other times it doesn't.
It is becoming more frequent. The most recent time was tonight. After trying to push buttons. Then trying to just wait it out, I pushed and held Both buttons together. It then began going through the boot up sequence.
I don't know if by holding down both buttons, it restarted on it's own, or if it was something else. But I know that the phone was not off.
Does anyone know what the problem is? I know it's not the proximity sensor. It's definitely something else.

While under warrenty, take it in for a Genius Bar appointment and have them give you a brand new one.

When making a call, sometimes, my iPhone 5 , gets stuck on 'Calling' than I have to press END..but still nothing happens, than when I press HOME button, the call app keeps running in the background and it keeps saying CALLING... than I have to wait 2 - 3 minutes and call again.
please helpHas nothing to do with the SIM or master reset. This has been done to my phone. The SIM once and the factory reset many times over. You all just sold us a bad piece of equipment and have us by the tail with our contracts so none of us can get a new phone without paying full price or re-upping our contract. I just got off the phone last night with your high up tech people (you know, the hidden number we get once we tear into your support people enough), they went into my phone again and still didn't find anything wrong. I about got fired from my job for not getting my calls and texts. The BBB has now been contacted, and I feel your end should shore this up for all of us!

First I backed everything up, then restored as a new phone, and then i couldn't see the contacts, the contacts were not restored when i restored as a new phone. So in order to get the contacts I restored from the backup but then the same problem happened again.
What I meant to saw was that the probelm disappeared when i restored as a new phone, but it reappeared when i restored from the backup. So is there a way to just somehow get the old contacts when the phone is restored as a new phone. All I need from the current phone is the contacts to be there when I retore as a new phone.

Since updating to iOS 7.0.3 my iPhone 4 get stucked in the transitions when:
- From lock screen, use de camera. The lock screen moves up a bit and then get stucked at some point
- In desktop, when using control center, it get stucked at some point when is moving up, it doesn't fully spread all the way
- Sometimes, when navigating between desktops, it get stucked in the middle of them.
I have made restoration and load my iPhone copy, everything is still the same?
Any other person with this issue?

I bought a monthly subscription to After effects -I had the trial version- and I started downloading it. Everything is fine, just that the download does not finish and gets stuck at 100%. While I try to open the program in Finder, it opens a window saying the trial version has expired and that I have to buy the licence.

It started fine, then at 90%the download speed became lower and lower. I have already tried to cancel the download and reset Creative cloud (and the download of course) but it is the same outcome.

I think I've located the problem (at least in my case). I use a ringtone program called iToner 2 and that is what's apparently causing a conflict and syncing issues with my iPhone. I installed my ringtones from iToner 2 and the sync issues re-occurred. After deleting my iToner 2 ringtones, I was able to sync again.
My guess is that some application that you are using that works in some way with iTunes or your iPhone is what's causing the sync issues. I would suggest finding that particular application and not using it until it gets updated to work with iTunes 10.5 and iOS5.

Whenever i try and send an imessage to someone that has an iphone it gets stuck at times and won't go through. I then have to send it as a basic text and then it will respond message failed to send what should i do when it does this i need help
The use of iMessage depends on both the sender and the receiver having an active data connection. If either of the two connections are interrupted, the message can fail. The sending of an iMessage differs from the sending of an SMS, and if you are having SMS failures, that would be a carrier concern.

One of my MSI GTX 780-fans gets stuck on 100% every now and then :(
Every now and then (randomly and not very often) one of the fans on my MSI GTX 780 gets stuck on 100% after windows 7 (64 bit) have loaded.
It is impossible to get it to slow down by using any software or by restarting the computer (or even by turning it off).
The Only way to get it back to normal functioning is to open the computer and stop the fan with my hands for a while. After that it works like it should, until next time this bug happens.
Has anyone experienced anything like it? Can it be solved or is the card broken?flobelix will give you the program needed (a link to it at least) and the information of how to so it!

1: the serial number of your MSI GTX 780 (leave off the last 3 digits)
2: a copy of your cards current VBIOS (download this http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/ and run it and it will bring up GPU-Z and then click on the little icon at the end of BIOS Version and choose save to file (should be a under 1MB file) then upload it to somewhere like dropbox.com and give us a link to it there) -

Iphone 5 battery is stuck on 100%
is there any way of resetting the %?
I changed the battery due to it running out at 20-36% most days, since putting the new battery in it has been stuck on 100%, I even tried the original battery and another new battery but still get the same, it doesn't change.
Also when when the phone is switched off for any reason, once switched back and is used for what ever or put straight on charge it seems to crash and reset after around 3/4 mins, all 3 batteries do the same thing. I've found that if I plug it in to switch it on then remove charger for about 5 mins or I dont touch anything for 5 mins then when I go back to it it can be used/charged as normal.
I can deal with it but it's just annoying more than anything, does any one have any ideas as to why this has happened and can I sort it?

Thanks in advanceUnfortunately, by changing the battery yourself, you could have damaged something in the phone. Your problem is beyond the scope of this forum as the iPhone is not user serviceable. I suggest you try some of the self fix it sites on the web. They might be able to solve the problem or at least point you in the right direction.

Volume level gets stuck at 100%, iPhone 3g
iPhone 3g, running the latest 2.0.1.
I just got the phone yesterday but twice now the volume has gotten stuck at 100%. The volume display reads full blocks and you can't change it with the volume controls or vibrate switch. Even if you go into the iPod section, and try to drag the volume slider down, it just slowly creeps back up to full. The only way to 'fix' this is a reboot.

Do you have a protective case on the iPhone? Try testing without it.

If the issue persists after restoring the iPhone may need hardware repair. Make a reservation to have a Mac Genius take a look at it or call AppleCare.

My battery indicator is stuck at 100%. It will stay there until it dies. I have tried resetting by holding home and power keys. I have also tried connecting to iTunes and doing a restore. It is still stuck at 100%. Any ideas on how to fix it? It is pretty annoying not knowing how much battery life is left.

If restoring as a new iPhone (not from a backup) doesn't fix it, there may be a hardware problem. In that case, make an appointment with an Apple Store Genius Bar for warranty service.
