IPhone 5 calendar problem I need to schedule meetings monthly first Monday, second Tuesday...
IPhone 5 will not allow me to schedule meetings for first Monday, second Tuesday. Schedules future meeting the same date each month. Suggestions?
The only way to do that is to make the schedule on iCal or Outlook, which do provide for that type of scheduling and sync it to the phone.

To use Google calendar, you typically have to have a google email address, for that is what goole uses to authenticate all of their services. If your ISP has some sort of relationship with google to provide, via your ISP, some google services, then you will need to inquire with your ISP as to how to use those, for that is a rather special situation, not covered by any of the normal methods. If your ISP does not have this special relationship with google, and you wish to use google for calendar, then you would need to create a google account.

hi! its my first day using my iphone4, and i have a little problem, please help me. i ve written some events in my calendar, and they have been deleted, just after i stepped to another month.so for example i wrote an event to dec 24th, and it stayed there, no matter what. but i ve also written another event to nov 18th, stepped back to october and after that back again to november, and my previous event from nov 18th was dissapeared. can anybody help me??? thx a lot
Thanks! I found that the option for time zone support was ON on the phone and for some reason it thought I was in London. I turned OFF time zone support and re-synced the calendar with the iTunes setting set for overwriting the phone calendar. All is good now!

Volume on iphone is very low, this is a common problem, Apple Needs to FIX!
I have a new iphone 3GS that I got at the end of July, 2009. Since then i've been having problems with the volume! I called support because i had this problem along with my screen turning blank and freezing up. Support said to take the case off and this might help. well it did help the screen issue (which is kind of dumb when you think about it because the case is supposed to protect the phone and instead it caused it to malfunction!!,wierd), but the volume issue never really changed. I am hearing impaired and I do wear hearing aids, BUT....I have ALWAYS been able to use cell phones that have good loud volume, as i need to remove my aids to use the phone. My LG phone had BEAUTIFUL volume, never had a problem!
So, then I started to do some research and saw this is a very common problem! everyone I know that has an iphone has this problem, and all these people are normal hearing people! So then i decided to just get some really good, superduper headphones, because the headphones that came with the phone were ok, but i had to hold them in my ears.
The other day i bought the new Bose in-ear headphones with superior sound quality and at $130 bucks, they better be and the are compatable with the iphone. But.....again, while actually talking to someone on the phone the sound, even with the headphones and all volumes max'd, was still very low!! and i know its not the headphones because listening to the ipod is fantastic! it must be the phone!!!
I even used the "accessibility" setting that is on the phone and selected the mono audio feature which pushes both L&R sounds through one channel, and still doesnt help!
I even called support back today and one guy said i had to "restore" my phone by plugging it into my computer (not really sure what he means) but we got disconnected and the other guy said that i should bring my phone into the apple store. Both tech guys denied that there are lots of calls or complaints about this....but as you all know from reading the many posts, that this is a very common problem!!!
I think Apple should do the right thing and recall these phones or at least fix them or SOMETHING!!!! this volume issue is internally, because when i make a call and an automated voice comes on, it works fine (majority of the time) but as soon as a live voice comes on the phone, the volume drops! there must be some type of automatic voice adjuster that is just not working properly. I mean i love my phone!!! But....i cant use it!!! And now, im going to have to return my Bose headphones and try to find something else.

FWIW, my daughter (who also wears hearing aids) has trouble hearing her iphone. It appears to have more to do with the speaker not being lined up with the hearing aid's input. Her audiologist pointed out that some current hearing aids support bluetooth, I think we will get those next time we replace her hearing aids. -
how can i open my iphone because when i try to restore it from my back up all the files it didn't open anymore & always my iphone have a problem that it automatically shut down then the itunes logo appear then i need it to connect to itunes then restore to enable to open it..what should i do?i cannot bring it to the smart center because i lost my receipt..is there any chance to recover it?thank you so much..i already update my operating system to ios 6.1.3 but when i recover my back up the operating system was ios 6.1.2..
Your phone is in recovery mode. Did you plug it to the computer running itunes? What happend?

During iPhone 4 update or restore, "iTunes encountered a problem and needs to close." Help?
I have the latest version of iTunes, version 10.3. Every time I try to update or restore my iPhone 4, iTunes crashes and gives me the error message "Itunes encountered a problem and needs to shut down." I tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and Quicktime, but no dice. My phone is stuck in a recovery mode loop, and I need to restore it in order to fix it because tinyumbrella, iRecovery, iReb, and RecBoot all didn't work. It just boots back up in recovery mode again. I need to get my iTunes fixed so I can save my phone. Please help.

ModVer: 7.0.2600.5512 Offset: 000372e3No, no luck. I went to the Apple store to get my phone out of the recovery loop, but iTunes still crashes whenever I try to sync it or download any large files. I was lucky to get my backup of my phone put into the phone so I didn't lose all my contacts and everything. All I know about the error message is that it has to deal with there being a problem during iTunes interacting with that .dll file. Either the file is corrupt, or the latest version of iTunes works with a different version of that file. I can't figure out how to fix it.

I'm trying to update my iPhone 5 to IOS 7 through iTunes. I get a pop up saying I need to update my iTunes to 11.0.5 before I can update my iPhone. The problem is my iTunes is current, and no update for iTunes is found. Any one have any suggestions?
I had the same problem. My phone wasn't finding it so I tried plugging it into my laptop and it said I needed the latest iTunes which I already had.... I unplugged my phone from my laptop and did a soft reset to my phone (hold down the lock button and home button at the same time until your phone turns off) once it turns back on you should find the update... Click general... Software update. Worked for me!

I can't get my iphone 4s calendar to sync with google calendar. I can sync the other way i.e from google to iphone. Does anyone know how to fix this?
You need to transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer per the instructions included with this link.

If you don't do this per the instructions included with the link, all iTunes content on your iPhone will be erased with the first sync. If you haven't transferred photos from your old computer to your new, any photos on your iPhone that were transferred from your previous computer will be erased when selecting to transfer any photos from your new computer.
Not sure how cancelling a sync with iTunes and importing photos/videos from the Camera Roll with iPhoto could have an effect on your GPS reception and location services. -
My iPhone is having problems and I have to send it into Apple to get a fixed but in the mean while I need a phone. Could my old env touch act as a temporary replacement with the data plan? And if so how to I activate it with going to Verizon and once I get my IPhone back will I be able to activate it without going to the Verizon store?!? Thanks:)

After updating my iPhone 5 to ios 6.1 I'm getting a hissing sound during calls. Any one else having this problem? Need help
I am having the same issue. I am updating to 6.1.3 to see if that helps. It is really annoying. It seems to vibrate as well as hiss on my ear piece speaker while on a call. I keep looking at the phone thinking maybe another call is coming in.

In order to cure the problem on my iPad of the month of March 2013 only causing the Calendar to close, I amended all "All Day" events on April 1 to timed events. Now my Calendar will not open, although my Calendar on an iPad 2 and on iPhones 5 & 4 work perfectly. I have tried turning iPad off/on, but no effect. Any ideas please?
I'm having the same issue with my 3rd gen iPad too. I always viewed my calendar in month view. It won't even open since it's stuck on month view.
I've quit the app (properly closing via taskbar) and re-opened - crashes immediatly.
Quit the app and rebooted (via holding home/power buttons until restart) and opened - still crashes immediatly.
Anyone know how I'm able to get access to the app so I can change all day events to timed events in April. Is it just April 1st or all of April? I haven't even opened my iPhones iCal yet to see if it's having the same issue.
Also, not sure if this will work but iCal on my mac wireless syncs my calendar events. I'm wondering if I change April 1st all day events to timed events whether it'll sync and fix the issue of crashing? -
I use Office Outlook for mac 2011 to organise my email & calendar. Since updating to OS X Mavericks I have not been able to sync the calendar to my iPhone. What do I need to do to get the calendars syncing again?

Apple told developers they were removing that service over two years ago. The developers that depended upon it should have done something about it.
Why did they remove it? My guess is because it was pretty crappy, was difficult to maintain, and wasn't a good solution for multiple devices that could get the info without tethering to a "base" Mac. -
What's the wave's number of iPhone 4S speakers? I need to know what's the number because my phone doesn't play any sounds, and I kind of knew what's the problem and solution!
What I mean by wave is like radio channels' waves! Ex. 104.1Your statement makes no sense.
Have you tried basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide to rule out some setting in the device preventing the speaker from working?
Is the mute switch on?
Do other sounds work?
Does it produce sound with headphones plugged in? -
My new iPhone 4s and my iPad 1 have the same problem: While working on one of them, the screen goes black and the right back to home screen. I've tried resetting the iPad with no chages to this problem. Need help, this is anoying.
I just did a reset all settings on both.
Will see where this gets me.
