Iphone 5 call with bluetooth (problem)

since I update the IOS for the IOS 8.0 I have a problem using the bluetooth in my car (Mazda 6 2008). The iPhone connects to the car bluetooth system and works fine, the only problem is when I make a call, I don't hear the ringing sound, only start to listen when the person answers the call. If the person dont answer the call I dont even know if Im making a call or not because there is no ringing sound.
I think that this Is a problem with the IOS, it appears tha the iPhone only uses the bluetooth when the call is answer and not when I start to call.
In the previous versions of IOS everything works fine. I've tried to restore the last backup, hard reset, reset the network configurations, remove and pair the iPhone with the car again, but nothing works.
Anyone with the same issue?

I am very happy with my M100 Plantronics due to the aural information on battery life, connected etc. I was disapointed that it didn't work for my new iPhone 5, untill I was offered to trade off with another brand but I was unsatisfied with the other bluetooth that did not have any information service. So I tried sereral was untill I got fed up with it and I held the outboard butten on the M100 for 10 seconds or so - then it connected! And it just works perfectly now

Cellular calling doesn't yet work reliably.
Make sure you've followed the instructions in this support article. Note that both iCloud and FaceTime on the Mac must be signed in to the same Apple ID; those are two separate steps. Also note that the Mac and the phone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Ethernet won't work. Trying to pair the phone to the Mac as a Bluetooth device won't work either.
If cellular calling still doesn't work, sign out of FaceTime and sign back in. You may have to do the same on the phone. The email address that you use as your Apple ID must be able to receive FaceTime calls.

I started having this problem a week or so ago, after having used the Apple TV for a couple of months with only some minor problems. Yesterday, however, I started getting this problem again and today I could not get to Airplay from my Ipad - just kept getting the "error occurred" message on my tv screen. I tried the various fixes I could find on Google - at least the ones I could understand - but with no luck. Then I decided to bite the bullet and pay for Apple support, even tho the problem is with the device and not due to my ignorance. So I talked with a support person who said I would have to pay $19.95 for 30 days of support and was glad to take my credit card information. This person had never heard of the problem, and ending up bumping me up to an Apple TV specialist, after spending 20 minutes or so on hold, and explaining the problem, etc. I finally got to the specialist who had heard of this problem and said that she was crediting me for the $19.95, since the problem is due to a KNOWN HARDWARE ERROR. In fact, she said that Apple would give me a new, replacement unit if I would go to the nearest Apple store. This even tho I bought the unit used - it is still covered. Now I have to make a 100 mile round trip to the Apple store, since Apple won't send the new one out in the mail, even if I return mine first. And Apple won't pay for my gas. So that's the mostly good and some bad news. I hope that the new unit won't have this problem, but I think the bigger issue is that since Apple knew about the problem that affects certain serial numbers, why don't they post that information on their support sites or just make it findable by a Google search. Whenever I have had a problem with Windows, I have always been able to find a Microsoft article or fix addressing it by doing a Google search, but Apple, always desiring to be arcane and opaque, isn't interested in this approach. In fact, why not just put together a "known problems" site for Apple products so that users can find this kind of information easily, without having to put out $19.95 for technical support that isn't needed, and wasting their own time (and money, as in my case, for gas). The bottom line is that all of the people with this problem who posted (and there are many) were apparently ignorant that Apple KNEW ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND WILL REPLACE THE BAD UNITS. This is because, I am sure, they don't want to shell out the $19.95. Anyway, hope this helps someone. I doubt if Apple will listen to the suggestion. Good luck..

Lenovo S820 problem in call with bluetooth headset

I have Lenovo S820. I update smartphone to last version firmware. Information from phone:
Model: Lenovo S820_ROW
Android system version: 4.2.1
Firmware communication module: S820.V21, 2013/08/07 15:14
Build number: S820_ROW_S119_130922
I also connected the bluetooth headset. In the phone attached 2 sim: MTS(3g and 2g), BWK(only 2g)
Problem:
When I call from first slot of sim with bluetooth before whistles Lenovo S820 activate flight mode and disconnect with all providers(MTS and BWK) and after reset call Lenovo S820 turn off flight mode.
In second phone I recive call, but I can't answer a call from Lenovo S820.
I try from different headsets. this problem occur with all headsets.

Can't End Call with Bluetooth Headset

Having just purchased a Blackberry 8330, I am disappointed with the inability to end a call with a Bluetooth hands free device (Jabra VBT185Z). The hang-up problem occurs when the Blackberry is locked and a call is placed with the Bluetooth device. While this may sound trivial, I find not being able to end a call while driving without first punching in password and unlocking my Blackberry extremely inconvenient, a hazard to driving, a waste of air time, and an engineering oversight.
I'd appreciate any advice on fixing the problem or determining a bluetooth alternative. (May be it's time for an iPhone.)

Please could you back up your phone and do a reset through Settings > About > Reset phone. Note this will wipe all data and settings from the phone.
Also, check your SIM card or swap it with a new SIM (usually without charge from your operator). If you still experience this, please take your phone to a Nokia Care point to ensure there is no hardware problems.

Iphone 6 128gig Bluetooth problem

i I restored my iPhone 6 with the back up from my iPhone 5s , my phone works fine , but my Bluetooth will not work correctly!! I have a 2012 camaro , my phone will sync to my car to play music , but I can't answer calls , or hang up with the steering wheel control, also my head seat won't pick up when I push the button on my Bluetooth device! i have to answer with my phone , then switch to blue to manuall! I restarted my phone , did a soft reset and it still won't work, my un updated iPhone 4s works perfectly fine! So it's not my Bluetooth or my car, it's a problem with the iPhone 6, or IOS8 ... This is a deal breaker with me! I do construction and I need my Bluetooth!! Please fix, ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I clicked on the link and I knew there was one I forgot to mention earlier that I tried. I had tried it but that didn't work for me BUT don't let that deter ANYONE else from trying I. It's far easier and less of a pain than what worked for me.
I 100% agree no one should have to jump through hoops to get the issue fixed. I'm still amazed (I shouldn't be at this point) with the amount of variants people are finding at fixing it for themselves.. Whichever way it is they find and it woks is the main thing.

I've a serious problem and I appreciate if anyone can help me on it. Recently, I've upgraded my new Xperia Z1 to the latest software, but after I did that rejection calls with SMS is stop working and I don't know what to do for that !!
Also, I have another problem as there is a lot of advertisement appears automatically which is so annoying. I need to stop this stupid adv. Can anyone here help me please.

You can't sync an iPhone with an iPad. There is no device limit for the number of iPods, iPads, and iPhones that can be synced with the same iTunes library and iTunes account on the same computer. Each device has its own sync preferences with iTunes. Unless there is a 3rd party app that allows for placing and receiving calls via the internet that is compatible with the iPad, you can't use an iPad as a phone.

Since acquired last Friday my new iphone 6 I could not use my bluetooth in my car, I have a iphone 5s that goes perfect with IOS 8, but the Iphone 6 allows listening to music but fails with phone calls because synchronizes receives calls but not sound and send audio in the car, but in the end, is something crazy!, in some cases take away the bluetooth and the next day to synchronize the previous call charge!

To resolve the issue, you'll need to first sign in to iCloud and review your devices:
Sign in to iCloud on your iOS devices.
On one of your devices, tap Settings > Bluetooth and look under My Devices. You'll see all devices that are connected to Bluetooth, but make sure that you see your Apple devices that are signed in to iCloud and are using iOS 8.
Sign out of your iCloud account from any devices that you don't want to use. To sign out of iCloud on an iOS device, tap Settings > iCloud > Sign Out.
Then, remove any inactive devices from iCloud:
Sign in to iCloud.com.
Select Find My iPhone.
Select any devices that aren't active anymore.
Wait for Find My iPhone to stop trying to find the inactive device.
You should see the option to remove this device from your account. Select it to remove the device.
After following the steps above, restart the device with the issue. Then try to use it with your Bluetooth accessory.

Calling with Bluetooth in Acura MDX

I easily paired my IPhone4 with my Acura MDX 2008 and the hands free system works fine except when I initiate a call form the phone rather than the Acura system. When calling from the phone the call does not go over the car speakers. The display gives an option to use the handsfree system but it never connects. Help?

I don't know if this is the same problem I have...but this might help. I have a 2009 Acura TL.
I have found that I need to change the source multiple times when my bluetooth (Blueant v1) is connected. That is, I have to choose Handsfree, iPhone, and then go back to Handsfree. Then it connects.
If I am Acura Handsfree only, I do not seem to have a problem.

Iphone 3GS with bluetooth connection with Audi car kit

I connected my iphone 3GS to my Audi car system through bluetooth connection. The Audi system recognizes the iphone and his address phone and all works well.
The issue comes when I disconnect the iphone from the car kit. After, even someone calls me, the call ringtone rings only two times and after switches off during the incoming call. This issue is random, sometimes the alarm rings well, sometimes not by working in the way described above. Someone has the same issue and knows how solve it? Is an issue linked to hw or only sw?

Can I check with you if you have this problem..
I assume you have paired the iPhone 3GS to the Audi carkit.
First, play something on the iPod.
Then go to the Bluetooth settings page where you can see all the paired devices.
after that, make a connection to the carkit.
Is there any stuttering or audio breaking you hear from the carkit?
I have this problem with my iTech BluebandR headset and iSkin Cerulean RX. I only found this problem with iPhone 3GS but it worked fine with 3G.

Hello! This is my problem: I have a bt. headset Plantronics voyager 510 which I want to use with my IPhone 3G. I make my headset discoverable, my phone recognize it, and with no code, I can use (talk). All time when bluetooth is "on" my IPhone keep searching devices, and is visible. Only option wich I have is to delete PLT 510 from phone memory. Can anyone tell me where I go wrong or what`s happening?

I had a similar issue with my Jawbone Prime. The iPhone wouldn't recognize it. I paired my Plantronics 520 without any problem -- it works fine. I tried the Jawbone again and it hooked right up! I can now use either headset.
Far-fetched, but if you could borrow another headset and give that a try, maybe the phone will cooperate with your Plantronics.

Nokia 6290 video calling and bluetooth problem

I recently bouight a nokia 6290
however when I tray and set up a video call it says not support by network
any ideas how to sort the problem? also when I try and pair up with a friends bluetooth it wont let me pair up with one and it will except the other any ideas?

Are you on a 3G network ? Video call only works when both parties are on a 3G network with a 3G signal.

6120c delay when answering a call with bluetooth h...

I have a Nokia 6120 classic and a Jabra BT2010 headset. When using the headset, every time I answer a call I have a 3 second delay until I can hear anything.
During these 3 seconds I hear 3 beeps: one the moment I answer the phone, a second one a couple of seconds after that, and a third one just before I can start to speak.
Does someone have the same problem? Is this a firmware problem and will be fixed with a new firmware? I have firmware 3.83.

that is a bit strange, i have used Nokia BT headset BH-900, BH-201 and BH-600 on the 6120 and there is no delay...
it could be related to your headset... if there is a way to factory re-set that jabra? i had a jabra before, and it can be done if i remeber correctly,when you keep pressing volume up + power on for 10sec and watch the LED change color...

No, contrary to this I can pick up the phone, close the keyboard and no interruption takes place. However, I purchased my phone only two weeks ago and it might have the new SW already.
