iphone 5 cellular data not working, so i reset the all phone settings and it is showing only apple symbol on the screen afer i switched on the top.How to fix this problem

Hold the sleep / wake button and the home button down until the phone shuts off and then allow it to reboot again

First thing first you are teh number one in this world, there is no doubt about it and I am following apple since 6 years.
I have a Apple iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G with cellular data. last night what I did I have updated my iOS on 3G Cellular which it was asking from many days. But after the update I am not able to connect to internet and when I am inserting same(iPad) sim to my Apple iPhone its working fine and when I'm inserting my Apple iPhone SIM to my iPad is not working there, I have tried different sim which are working on other device but after the update its not working on my iPad. Though it showing full tower and I have checked all settings too, then also I am not able to connect to internet.
I have reset my network settings and iPad to factory setting then also I am not able to get the internet on my iPad.
before the update everything was awesome.
Please Please help me what shall I do and how to resolve this issue.

You are not talking to Apple on this forum. We are all users here. First thing it would try is to reboot your iPad.
Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.
If that doesn't help I'd contact Apple Support.

Cellular data not working after updating to ios 5.01

After i updated ios 5.01 , i get the error could not suscribe to active cellular network even though i have my data plan package suscribed with my carrier
I find that i have my internet plan valid till jan 2012 and some 1.5 GB of data left to transfer but still even after turning the cellular data ON
i could not browse any websites or conect via skype
facing this prob for the past 2 days after updation

I have tried all these fixes and nothing seams to work. My app's have been on hold for week to get updated. I assumed I did not have a good enough connection, but Im in starbucks with a good connection and still no luck. I upadted today to 5.1.1 .. I have tried tup downloand a new app, just in a holding pattern. When I pause it and ask it to reload, it says
"unable to download application" done or retry are my options. Tried retry many times, with no success.
I have tried to shut it off holding the side button but the red bar does not disapear. It stays there until I give up.
I have logged out, shut down, logged back in..
Any suggetions????
I saw something about the DNS?? Is that for the Ipad or a computer?

Cellular Data Not Working In Apps

Hello There, my GF recently bought a new BB Curve 9300 , everything works well , except the mobile internet in applications. E.G. , she can only send me messages in whatsapp trough her wifi , not cellular data from her mobile carrier, but the internet works fine trough browser when its not connected to wifi, only thing is it is not working trough applications. What seems to be the problem here, what should she do? Thanks.

ok .. so far blackberry protect just freezes.. google maps give some error saying that it cannot connect,, blackberry maps just gives "fatal connection error.." all bis games just say connection timed out 6000sec., basically i'm a screwd;;;;;; since i factory reset my phone thinking it was the phone now all my contacts etc are on blackberry protect but cant restore due to error

When asking a question it is helpful to those who might reply if you provide information about the steps you've already tried to solve your problem. SInce I don't know those things I'll start with the first steps. Is Cellular Data turned on in Settings? If not turn it on. If it is on the try a reset of your iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

Try resetting your network settings.
Settings>Genenal>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

Syncing only works from your computer to your iPad/iPhone, not the other way around. So you can only transfer your purchased music from the iPhone to your computer.

How bad was the crash? Had the drive to be replaced? Or is there a possibility to use data recovery software on that drive?

My iPhone alarm clock is not working. I have the latest software: 6.2.1. I set my alarm at 11:30 pm to go off at 12:30 am and 3:30 am, neither went off. I actually wok up right before 3:30, open up the clock app to see if my alarm was on and both the alarms were set to off. I have been having trouble with alarms similarly the last week or so.

Hi Homer,
I would suggest a re-install of the iPhone to fix this issue.
Make sure to do a full backup of the iPhone before you do this otherwise you may lose some of your data

IOS7 Update - Cellular Service Not Working

After installing the long awaited IOS7 today, my cellular service does not work. Now I can only use

I managed to get my ipad working after hours. The problem was that with the new ios7 came a carrier setting update 'Vodacom 15.1' which is the problem. Vodacom 15.0 is working.
How to fix.
Go to iTunes and make a backup of your device. Restore it from iTunes and restore your device from your backup. Do not accept any carrier setting update when prompted. After the carrier update your cellular will not work if you have the same problem.
If you have an iPhone go to settings, general, about, carrier.
Look at the carrier setting there and then look at your ipad. You will find that your ipad is probably a newer version currently.
Note that this is not a ios7 issue, but a carrier setting issue.

Pay as you go iphone 4s cellular data on or off?

My son has an iphone 4s on EE pay as you go and we would like to know whether we should have 'cellular data' turned on or off?
We were told by EE that if cellular data (not sure why it says cellular data, when my iphone 4 says mobile???) is turned on then his 'credit' will go very quickly?!? Which is has done!
If we have cellular data turned off he then cannot receive iMessages or SMS??? unless he uses WIFI which isnt available when hes out and about?
If we turn cellular data on (so that he can receive iMessages and SMS) is there an option for his 'credit' not to be used up on data?

iMessage requires a data connection, either WiFi or 3G. MMS requires a cellular data connection, & SMS requires a cellular connection, but not cellular data.
FYI: An iPhone is designed to always have a data connection, either WiFi or 3G. Trying to manage an iPhone, without a data connection, is kinda like trying to force a square peg in a round hole. Possible? perhaps, but not done easily or effectively.
