Iphone 5 clock wrong

my 5 keeps resetting to the wrong time and date. It seems to happen randomly and about once a day

I have noticed numerous other discussions about similar problems, and lots of people having the same issues, but no solutions.
I can turn off the Set Automatically and then turn it back on and it will correct itself. I'm worried that my alarm will be affected and not function properly.
I never had this problem with my 3GS using the older software.
This is crap.

  • IPhone clock - wrong time

iPhone clock does not have correct time for Argentina.
On a recent visit, setting the clock to Buenos Aires, it gave the same time as Sao Paolo, Brazil. In fact there is a one hour time difference.
Any clues on how to get this glitch corrected?

Are you referring to thew World Clock feature, or manually setting the iPhone's date and time?

  • Dashboard Clock Widget like iPhone Clock

I've had an iPhone for a couple of years, and this week I'm finally making the switch from PC to Mac. One of the really simple questions I have is where to find a clock widget for the dashboard that functions like the iPhone clock with time zone clocks, timer, and alarms. Everything I've managed to dig up so far is too bloated for simple daily tasks like quickly checking what time zone a client is in before calling. Is there anything out there someone can recommend that is as easy to use and straightforward as the iPhone clock app except for the dashboard?

Actually if you want to do a bit of tinkering you can change the clock face to ANY city town or village you likr just follow this link

  • IPhone Clock App. (error?)

If you go the iPhone Clock, set any world clock, and notice that rather than displaying the day of the week, it displays "Today". I'm no "genius", but I'm pretty sure that it's today right now. I'm also pretty sure that it's always "Today", but is that just laziness in coding or perhaps a slight oversight? Maybe they grab the day of the week from the Calendar App which shows "Today" in one place. Who knows? Is there any Apple staff that read this that can suggest a fix or let the right department know for a future update?

But it's a world clock - all it's meant to do is give you the time and day in relation to your own local calendar settings. I've got Melbourne entered in my world clock. It's currently showing "21.08 Today", cos they're 9 hours ahead of me in the UK. In 3 hours time, the Melbourne entry will say "00.08 Tomorrow"

  • Apple id in iPhone is wrong and different from my real Apple id

My Apple ID in my iPhone is wrong and is different from my real Apple id

Access Settings->ITunes and App stores and tap on the Apple ID, then sign out. Then sign in with the correct Apple ID.

  • IPhone Clock icon

This is not a question, but a suggestion.  I think the iPhone Clock Icon needs to work as an actual, live and accurate, clock showing local time while it just sits there on the screen.

IMO, that's just a waste of processor, memory and battery especially when you have the time at the top of the screen.
That being said, you can provide Apple with your suggestion... http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

There is no list of authorized computers.  Where do you see a list?
You must be talking about something other than authorization.  Please clarify.

  • IPhone clock losing time

I noticed a few weeks ago that my iPhone clock was 2 mins behind my MacBook clock and other computers. Then about a week after that I noticed it was closer to 3 mins behind. Now it's getting closer to 4 mins behind. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

all digital clocks loose time a bit by bit
but a computer is likely to sync with some service on the internet
    making it's clock more correct
but syncing a iphone with the computer should also sync the clock

  • Sync iPhone Clock with Atomic Clock

I bought a couple of apps that connect to the Atomic time server and although they work well, all they can do is show me the time difference between the iPhone clock and the real time on the Atomic clock server (offset).
I wrote to the app's manufacturer and they told me that apple will not allow them access to the iPhone's clock so that it can be corrected.
    I am just wondering why.
I really hope it is not because apple plan to launch a new phone sometime in the future with this function!
I know it must be possible and relatively easy for apple to enable this feature on the iphone so please somebody please explain to me the real reason for this. Almost every phone I have ever owned has had the ability to be updated and synced by either my pc or some app, so I really can't understand why apple would have disabled this feature. I have my clock set to automatically update itself but it is ALWAYS about 30 seconds off! What's the point of that?
Does anyone know of any way to enable this feature so that my iphone clock updates itself every time I connect it to my PC for example?
Many Thanks in advance for your help.

No, this has nothing to do with any carrier. I still have my 3G whose clock (always) is to the second with my atomic clocks at home (or my computers for that matter.) Both iPhone 4's in my family are off; one by 40 seconds, one by almost a minute, and increasing. They simply do not sync. I suspect that the clock module in the 4G is of an inferior quality.

  • Adjust iPhone clock "seconds"

    Hi,
Is it possible to manually adjust the seconds on the iPhones clock?
    Thanks in advance.
    Mark

Not at this time. You can only adjust hours and minutes. If your carrier does not send a time signal, I understand there are a couple of apps in the app store that you can use to adjust time to the atomic clocks.

  • Made for iPhone Clock Radio iHome-like contraption

I had 2 iHome Clock Radios for my iPod, one at work and one at home. I tried to use them for my iPhone, but I get a message saying that as they weren't made for the iPhone, there could be interferance, did I want to switch to airplane mode. I did that, but it still sounded awful.
So, my question is, do they make such a thing for the iPhone? I realize that it can play through it's own speaker, but on songs with a lot of bass, even with the reducer on, it sounds not so great. It sounds great with earphones, though.
I searched on eBay and couldn't find anything, or in the Apple store. Anyone found one that works?

Memorex has one coming out this spring.

  • IPhone Clock is wrong.

Under Settings, Date and Time, Set automatically, I have selected "On". My clock is five seconds slow compared to the NIST.gov server. What serer does the IPhone connect to for time information?

5 seconds slow? Unacceptable! Heresy! Recall!
    Mine's 30 seconds slow.
I doubt it connects to any server. Cell phone companies usually push the time over the air.

  • World clock wrong times

    Hello
Has anyone noticed on the new update on iso on the iPhones the world clock is showing the wrong times around the world.
Is anyone else getting this too.
    Thanks
    Ramo

    Hmmm....
The good news - Mine just got 1.0.2 installed [I presume it failed the initial attempt because I'd run "ifuntastic" to get custom ringtones.....]
Anyway, I attacked the World clock (now back in its default "Cupertino" time zone - Which happens to be me, so I added New York, London and Madrid - All show up correctly, and for me very "elegantly":
    Cupertino: 5:20pm today
    New York: 8:20pm today
    London: 1:20am tomorrow
    Madrid: 2:20am tomorrow
Looks good to me.....Sorry, I thought I had it!,
    Cheers,
    Ian
