Phones crashes after the update 7.1.1 over wifi in the past I would update the phone over WIFI with no problem now
It just WIPES out you're whole entire phone without telling you to back it up first then update. Please give me bring back my Photos, Personal Stuff, ect.

You actually need to be told to backup your important data before doing a software update? Seems very basic to me (and most people) that anyone with the slightest bit of intelligence would ensure they have a backup of their important data.

My Droid Razr M home screen keeps crashing after the update. Can it be reversed?
My Droid RAZR M is now a paperweight. The home screen keeps crashing. I'm forced to access anything by sliding down the main screen and going to the new settings area, which I discovered. I tried forcing the app to stop, but that didn't do anything. I cleared the cache, disabled it - nothing. I HATE THIS! I want to make it go away. Is there anything short of resetting the phone that can UN-update the update?
Oh, and also, now my texts are Google talk - ugh. double ugh.
Frustrated here.Not even factory reset will roll back the update. My issue was a loss of the ability to connect to WiFi anytime after about 20 minutes after reboot.
The only thing I can suggest is to call tech support and let them walk you through a couple of routines and then they can send out a replacement phone. (It's what I had to do.) My issue is that the replacement is running 4.1.2 and now my FitBit won't work with it. I wish I did not upgrade from 4.2. (Maybe another release?) -

Logic pro 9 is still crashing after the update
This program that i have been using did not have any problems for awhile now i have change my hard drive and install the program and now i been seeing a lot of crashes
however the program will boot up however when i want to pull up and instrument a rainbow wheel shows up and then it crash it will not show my instrument page and i try to copy the libray and it still will not show the page so i would like someone to give me or share the steps to get back to regular programmingIf you don't have an old backup, then there's nothing that you can do. You can still sync your phone back to the PC that you use to sync to get back apps and music.
For pictures you should be importing them over to your PC as you would a digital camera, that way when events like this occurs you can sync the pictures back to your phone. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

Hi. I upgraded to Lion yesterday but since then the system keeps crashing (that grey screen asking for manually reboot the system). I believe it happnes only when itunes is playing... Can someone please help me with this? Thanks.

The phone cannot connect to App Store , Weather , iTunes(phone) nor some other things for e.g I cannot post photos to Instagram but still can use the app just to look at others pictures except uploading mine..

IPhone 5 keep crashing after the new update
my iPhone keeps crashing after updating to 8.1.1. This is very frustrating now

My iphone 5c crashed after updating to IOS 8.02 and now i don't have anything from the last 3 months. What do I do?
Don't worry about that. iPhone stuck in recovery mode always happens when you update the iOS on your iPhone. There are two ways to solve it.
First is is to put your iPhone in DFU mode.
Step 1. Turn off iPhone
Step 2. Hold down the Power and Home button.
Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the Home button down.
Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that it’s in restore mode.
If DFU mode can't solve the problem, I'm afraid the only solution is to try some 3rd party software, like iPhone data recovery or something like that. You may simply try the tutorial here: How to Fix iPhone that is Stuck in Recovery Mode. -
i have tried updating my iphone to a newer version but after the update was completed the phone is not restarting, just the apple logo is showing up on the screen. what is causing that problem?

I have tried the above fix and iTunes crashes giving error 27 after trying to load the iPhone firmware.
I have booted my phone in DFU mode and this has made no difference.
My mac is up to date.
My iTunes is up to date.
All i tried to do was update my ios as i have been unable to make calls or send text's all day.
Do you have any other suggestions as my phone is no good to me now.

So I updated my iPhone 5s to version 7.0.6 yesterday, and now my iPhone music isn't working properly. It won't sync the playlists that I added after the update though when it's plugged in on iTunes it says that the music is synced. When I select a song in a playlist on the phone it shuffles through the playlists for like 3 seconds and picks a totally different song to play. I tried reinstalling iTunes, I tried restoring the iPhone, is it just a bug with the update? Nothing works. Any solutions are welcome.
DFU mode? How do I do that? So far the only thing I can do is hold down both buttons to power it on and nothing is on the screen and it wont reconize on my computer....

First, create a separate login on your computer for your friend. Do this BEFORE you do anything else. Next, make sure iTunes is up to date. Then:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under Preferences>Devices in iTunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book, iCal) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect her phone, iTunes running, do not sync at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on her phone will be in her itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore her itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding her contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go. -
i have an Iphone 4 16gb and updated the IOS 6.1.2. after the update my 3G is not working at all??. can you please suggest what can be done to rectify this problem?
I have the same problem. After updating to 6.1.2 my iPad 3,2 will not find Verizon network. It just says "Searching..." for ever. Any thoughts?
