IPhone 5 damaged?

My iPhone 5 was thrown to the ground and on the corner of impact it's wonky and un-even. The screen and other side is 100% fine it seems. What should I do? Should I take the iPhone to the apple store and see what they say? I am expecting to pay for this. My iPhone was only bought a month or 2 ago.

You have at least 2 choices:
You can use your phone as it is and do nothing
You can bring your phone to Apple and pay $229 for an out of warranty replacement as your user damage as voided your warranty (you will pay $49 for the same replacement if you have already purchased AppleCare+)

If you are asking what happens when you delete an iCloud backup, it only deletes the backup from your account. It won't do anything to the data on your phone or in your iCloud account. If you don't need to backup you can delete it. (If you no longer want to back up your phone to iCloud, turn iCloud backup off in Settings>iCloud>Backup. Then your phone will back up to your computer each time you sync it with iTunes.)

My iphone 4 damaged and replacement refused

My iphone 4 has been dropped and maincard damaged . I sent it to a local service to check it out because it was out of warranty. So they told me that to send it to authorized service to replace. I sent it to authorized service and they refused replacement because i bought it from other country and also opened by another un authorized iphone service. Yes i made a mistake and gave it another service for repair. Should i throw it to the garbage? I trust apple to help me to recover my iphone at any cost..

Service and support on any iPhone are restricted to the country in which the iPhone was originally sold. This has been clear from the day the iPhone was first released. Your only option at the time your iPhone was damaged was to send the iPhone to a friend or relative in the country in which the iPhone was sold to take or send to service. Since you now have allowed an unauthorized source to open and attempt to service your iPhone, you are completely on your own; Apple will no longer service your iPhone even in the appropriate country.
Sorry, but your choices are to either pay yet another unauthorized repair shop to try and repair your iPhone, or throw it in the trash.

it is highly unlikely that an iPad charger can cause damage to an iPhone - see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4327. I have personally charged my 3GS with an iPad charger many times without any problem.

You can't access your iCloud backup from your PC. You'll have to export your contacts from icloud as a vCard, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3606, which can be imported to Google then exported as a CSV file that can be imported to your PC.

Iphone water damaged

My iphone 4 got water damaged, i have took it apart and got as much moisture out as possible and replaced the battery the phone worked at first but when the battery got below 30% the apple loading screen now keeps flashing on and off. i have Re-booted it, Restored it, and done a full factory reset through itunes. it is stll stuck on the apple loading icon screen flashing on and off? Find a competent repair shop. If you had not opened the phone, you could have gotten it replaced by Apple for $149. They won't touch it now.

Iphone water damaged and needs reset

I need to restore old iPhone before i send back to assurion. If your iPhone came from Spain (or another EU country) then you can exchange a defective iPhone for a factory refurbished unit ,identical to the donor for Euros 249 over the counter for an iPhonre 5S
This only applies to an iPhone purchased in Spain (or EU ) but not if it came from another country ,as in US

Information on iPhone Water Damage?

I have had my iPhone 3G for about 8 months now, and today my 2 year old brother dropped the phone in a glass of water when I wasn't looking. I'm not sure how long it was sitting there, but about an inch or so of the lower part of the iPhone (where the USB connector, mic, and speaker are located) was completely submerged. I am now getting a message saying that the iPhone is plugged into some device, and I am unable to navigate back to the home screen anymore. After I found that it wasn't functioning properly anymore, I immediately powered it off, and am leaving it for a couple of days in hopes that it will return to normal functionality once it has dried completely.
My question here is, if this results in permanent water damage, what can I do to replace my iPhone? It was a gift to me, and I certainly can't afford to buy a new one for $500 or whatever the price is now. Are there any options for me to replace the iPhone outside of going and buying a new one? I'm really freaking out about this, I cant go without a phone for too long, so any advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Stolen iphone returned damaged internals

Hi,
Had my iphone 4 returned after 10 months on the run (stolen) after going through many hands and one person understanding that it cannot be jailbreaked he rang me up after seeing my 'find my iphone' message on the screen. It was in pretty bad shape front and back glass damaged LCD a bit dark on corner, tray for SIM removed (think because of IMEI number) and a screw that has something to do with the WIFI removed (think this is why it never showed up on 'find my Iphone' for the 10 months it was missing. A friend at a shop repaired all the physical damage.
Just wondering what to do next, I have connected it to my home router and its browsing the net no problem (no sim yet, waiting for one in the post). I've logged into 'find my Iphone' and it still shows a small padlock and in lost mode but still doesnt locate my iphone, does it need a sim installed for this? thought maybe when connected to a data network it would show up. Even in the Safari browser its showing location unknown, is there something else I need to activate or turn on? Can I connect it via USB to computer and get cotacts and all the other bits back to where I had it before?
Much appreciated for any help, I wouldnt be the most tec savvy person...

Since the damage is not covered under warranty you can go to Apple to see if you qualify for an out of warranty replacement which will cost $199 (I believe) or you can look to see if you can find a third party repair center who could repair the iPhone.

What you can do is, go to Settings-> facebook-> Your name-> delete account-> delete-> remove facebook info.
This will remove all the fb contacts. but before you again sign your fb account into your iOS, have the option of contacts set to off.
