Iphone 5 flash
I have a problem with my flashlight on my Iphone 5. When I turn on my flashlight (in this case with IOS7) via its own flashlight app. It will turn on once, but after I turn off the flashlight it won´t turn on again. But if i wait for a while it can be turned on again. Same with the camera first foto it uses flash with both different settings, automatic and on, but after that it will not turn on again. I had this issue with IOS6 too. Is anyone else experiencing this behavior on his or her phone. And how can I fix this problem?
Mine is doing this too and I have to reboot every time to resolve it. What'sinteresting is the flash actually makes the iPhone's light sensing adjust and darken the picture, then the flash goes off before the shutter snaps and the picture turns out darker than it would be had I not used the flash at all! You want to see really weird, take a flash pic of a cat. My cat's eyes seem to reflect the light a touch longer than everything else, so the pic ends up as a dark room with two floating eyeballs. I think it's the evil that stores the light a longerin her eyes btw, but that's another discussion lol.
Thank god the light adjustment seems to be much better on my iPhone 5, so that should hold me over. The only time I would ever use the flash would be in a really dark room. This should def be fixable with a software update. Maybe it has to do with how much ram the phone gives the camera app, which is why at a fresh boot, with no apps hogging ram, it works properly. At least for me that is....

So it seems that Apple is the only reason why there isn't yet a Flash player for the iPhone. Adobe has confirmed on numerous occasions that they have an iPhone Flash Player that works in the emulation, but Apple is not allowing them to port it over. If Apple doesn't want to allow it to act as a Safari plugin, they could have it work as a standalone player, like how Quicktime works. Let's get the support for an iPhone Flash Player going so that we can finally have the full internet experience on the iPhone!

Hi everyone,
It seems as if the iPhone features the flash player within
Safari.
The page www.fandango.com is being used as a demo on the
device in Apple's
web site and this page has a few Flash banners.
They don't seem to be animated on the demo though.
Now, I wouldn't see why apple wouldn't include Flash within
Safari
considering the dependancy many web site currently have on
flash.
Now, this probable means that we will be able to build some
apps for the
iPhone through Safari in full screen and with Flash Player 8
or 9 hopefully.
Yeehaaaa !!
Can we also develop widgets for it, or those available are
only apple's.
BrunoBut that makes you wonder why would Apple bother PDFing the
pages when it's
actually easier to just have the Flash player built-in and
run the pages as
they are ? Unless of course their zoom-unzoom features
requires it.
Another reason for Apple not to include the flash player is
the fact that
they wanted to keep the project secret for as long as
possible.
Collaborating with Adobe on this would probably have led to
some sort of
leaks.
So maybe Apple will include Flash in the coming months.
Now, Apple has never really been behind Flash. Look at their
web site, if I
recall properly, the only time they have used Flash on their
site is for the
video pro apps 2 years ago. It was animations on the top of
the pages with
graphics showing the capabilities of Motion, or Soudtrack ...
etc.
Since then, they have replace everything with Quicktime.
I still remember the very first iPod in their home page
spinning in
Quicktime with an incredibbly slow loading time, when the
same animation in
Flash would have been loaded twice as fast. Same today with
the iPhone.
Flash is a competitor to Quicktime to them. They have taken
ages to upgrade
the built in flash support in QT from version 5 to 6 ... and
we are now in
version 9 for PCs.
And the widgets !
How can you miss on the Flash Actionscript bandwagon on this
one, unless you
really don't want this technology in your system ?
No, I am getting really pessimistic about all this.
But we'll see. Time will tell.

Does anyone know how to remove white eye that iphone flash creates in photos?
I know the white eyes are created by the LED flash in the iphone, but it ruins all the pictures with flash. If it was red eye which is created by a normal flash DLSR, its an easy fix, but the white eye is created on people, not pets. Any suggestions? I can't seem to find an app that addresses this.

Hey Guys,
I just posted a flash site: www.flashforiphone.com
Please fill out the form to join a petition I will be sending
to both Adobe and Apple.
Also help me spread the word about the site. Lets get as many
people as we can to sign up.

Will Adobe ever introduce iPhone Flash?
With the Apple SDK releasing in Feburary, I was wondering if
Adobe is working on a Flash player for the iPhone Safari Web
browser. I did a search, both on google, and on these forums and
couldn't find an official answer. Can anyone from Adobe address
this as its pretty much the only thing stopping iPhone from having
a true Internet experience.
Please Adobe, please make a flash player for iPhone/iPod
Touch.
Thanks

As a developer for educational software, nearly 30 percent of
our faculty has switched over to the iPhone and students out number
the faculty with iPHones and iPod Touch. This is the platform to
build for. There is no other phone that can deliver what Apple has
built. It is clear that that you are made about YouTube that Google
dropped Flash in favor of .H264.
robert
Flash hasn't been dropped from the youtube & google
platform, youtube is converting all the videos to H.264.. which can
also be viewed with Flash.
Tbh.. the Iphone Hype will go down in a few months again..
this is just a normal technology marketing hype that always happens
when something new comes out. Nokia is about to release a similar
"iPhone" clone and from what I've seen.. wow...
Btw.. I also own an iPhone, so don't think that I'm blaming
it.
Regarding the Flash Player for the iPhone, I think it's a
problem with Apple then with Adobe, Adobe has FlashLite Players
that can also play video which btw was designed for mobiles.. if
the iPhone can't use a standard technology like flash then it's
their problem. -
Iphone flashing apple logo screen!
Hi my iphone 5 is stuck on a flashing apple logo sceen. I put my iphone into the charger and the phone turns on but the apple logo keeps on flashing every 5 seconds and it will not go into the proper main menu. My power button is broken so the only way to turn on the phone is by putting it into the charger and once its charged the phone turns on automatically, so i can't enter dfu mode etc
I found a similar problem on youtube to show you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3O0iBLGiyU
Anyone know how i could fix this? i have tried some methods that i found online but none worked so far..If you connect it to your computer, does iTunes see it?
If not, without a working power button, there is no further troubleshooting you can do. You will need to bring it to an Apple Store and have them take a look.
There is a known issue with some iPhone 5 model's power/sleep/wake button, and you'll want to go here to see if you're eligible: https://www.apple.com/support/iphone5-sleepwakebutton/ .
Not a guarantee that you'll get your phone working again but certainly won't hurt to check!

Guidelines for itouch/iphone flash Apps?
Hi, I just picked up an Itouch (G2) and want to program games
and quizzes for study in flash, which is normally not a problem on
a PC, but the Itouch has a much smaller screen, no keyboard, no
mouse, and a touch screen.
What are the specific modifications to a .swf file necessary
to make it an application?
For example, max screen size, recommended file size, graphic
notes,
should we use "mouse" button on(press/release) instead of
keyboard commands, do we need an exit button,
and do we need to convert the .swf into something
else?shintashi wrote:

I don't believe ipod has flash support of any kind. There are
tools for converting
swf into ipod compatible content but that's purely swf to
Mp4, none interactive, video
file format.

All the specs re available on apple.com in the product spec
section.
Don't make us surf for things you can easily access yourself.

Bottom line is, if ipod has any support for swf/exe based
flash apps, you need to follow
regular touch screen rules which means no roll over as such
can't be detected. The events
will have to happen on press.

Why does my iPhone flash when I get a text message?
I've reset my phone numerous times, I restored it, and the flash is still going off. Any other ideas? Should I just take it into the store?
Because the setting is turned on.

Will iPhone support away3D flash games???
Will the performance be similar to native iPhone 3D games?
By the way, will iPhone flash apps bhave the same performance as native iPhone apps? The answers to your three questions are fairly short:
Will iPhone support away3D flash games???
Yes, you can play away3D on the iPhone.
Will the performance be similar to native iPhone 3D games?
No it won't, because the native 3D is OpenGL which is much more faster then using the iPhone CPU to render you 3D.
By the way, will iPhone flash apps bhave the same performance as native iPhone apps?
Yes you are able to provided you have optimized your application thoroughly.
Mike Chambers has a slide show called: Creating High performance iPhone application with Actionscript 3
Which can be found here. -
IPhone needs Flash support in a hurry...
Just to let you guys know. I already know a few people thinking about returning there iPhones because they are unable to view some web pages that have flash content. Do you have any idea when a possible update for flash could happen? I've read a few blogs on the web that your not planning on supporting Flash. Is this true?
I hope not.
Anyways, it would be nice to have some solid information on this subject that I could use in defense. I might be able to save you a few sales and possible give you more.
Thanks

Blurry iphone photos when using the flash
Whenever I take photos with the iphone flash they come out overbright in a small section or blurry. I am guessing that maybe there is a protective layer of film covering the flash.
Is there some protective coating the is supposed to be removed from a new phone?
Is there documentation about the distance photos must be taken for the camera to work correctly?
Thanks,
GreggAlso check to be sure you don't have a case with a cutout too close to the flash. If you think this might be the case try removing the case and taking a flash picture to see that clears it up.

How I can install flash player on iPhone 3GS?
Hello, I discovered you can not have flash player on Safari in iPhone. Is there any way to get it installed?
There is no straight forward way of doing it, however, you know how people get their iphone unlocked? that's 'jail breaking' means they go out of the iPhoneOS to do that. What you need to do, is to download and install an application package 'Cyndia' and then install 'iMobileCinema' plug-in in it and your Safari will start running flash player. My advise will be to not to go that way and wait for Adobe to release iPhone flash player.
