IPhone 5 freezing/crashing still replaced for free if out of Warrenty?

Not actually a Hardware question but they're isn't a more relivant sub-section.
My iPhone 5 seems to keep turning it self off (does not reboot and turn on afterwards) freezing, crashing and generally being laggy. I've tried restoring etc, etc.
I've booked an appointment at the Apple Store tomorrow in hope of getting it replaced, hopefully for free? It's out of warrenty as I got it on day of release but seeing as it's not accidental damage etc and a software issue should I expect to get it replaced for free?

This is why all responders recommend against buying in USA

Just for reference an iPhone purchased within the European Union
can be serviced under warranty in any member EU state

My friend accidently shoved me causing my iphone to fly out of my hands and face first on the ground. Now it's badly cracked with spiderwebs over the screen. You cannot get the screen replaced for free...that is an out of warranty accidental damage issue. The iPhone 4s will be replaced with another for $199 at an Apple store genius bar. Be sure to make a backup of your content, best done in iCloud so the Apple genius can restore your content to the replacement iPhone.

Not if it was caused by accidental damage. You can make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store and see if they do screen replacement. If they do it is $149, if they can't it is $229 for an out-of-warranty replacement. If you bought AppleCare + it is a $49 deductible.

That is not a 90 day guaranrtee. It is a 90 warranty which only covers workmenship and materials not damage. So no. You are going to have to pay to get it replaced.

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, so no, you will not get a replacement for free. Apple does not repair iPods, but will replace the entire iPod for a flat fee; see the Repair Pricing section here:

There are independent iPod repair services that may be able to replace the screen for less. Do a web search for "ipod repair". Note, though, that if you elect to have the iPod serviced by an unauthorized shop, all further support from Apple will be void.

If your damage is caused by accidental damage or intentional user damage, then you would be looking at an out of warranty repair. I'm not sure what the costs of an out of warranty repair are for an iPhone 4, but they are probably in the $99-149 USD range.
The cost for getting a new iPhone would depend upon your current contract status. If you are out of contract, you can get a new iPhone 4s (the next newer model) for free.

At a New Years Eve party I was riding my little cousins Green Machine bike thing and I turned a corner and I had my iphone 4 in my front pocket and I turned a corner and it slipped out and hit the concrete ground. It has a shatter place at the top left corner on the white part on the front then it continues down to the home button,and across the top of the screen. I didn't have my Otter Box on it but I put it on after that happened. It covers up the shatter on my screen but thats pretty much it. You will likely be charged for a refurb replacement which in US as an example is $199 for a 4S and $149 for all other iPhones

I was able to load the Productivity Suite / Free !! on both my iPad mini and my iPhone 5s with no problems and at no cost.

The bottom rubber case of my macbook 13" late 2009 has expanded and has detached from the main body..As i'm not presently under warrantty i wanted to know will the repair be free of charge for me. I had once got it replaced for free but in warranty.

Indeed you do, limit of three accounts exists for every device. You can use old icloud accounts or create account on new device and then sign in on that phone. That limit is only for creating and not for use.

A broken screen is not covered by the warranty. However, sometime the Genius at an Appe store will exchange it at no cost. Otherwise the exchange cost is:
