IPhone 5 gets error that no Internet connection is present when I have 3 bars on sprint and try to refresh mail

I have had my phone for 2 weeks now. Works fine on wifi for Internet so far, but when I am not on wifi, sometimes I get an error stating that it can't get email because there is no Data or internet connection, but I have 3-5 bars. Why would this be? I have sprint.
Also is there a way for the phone to fetch or have the entire email pushed to the phone? When I am off wifi, it seems like it is only downloading the header and it has to reconnect to the exchange server to get the rest, and it takes a while for a simple message.
Any help would be appreciated, this is my first iPhone.

Exactly - in fact just after I posted I thought of the same solution - define a hosts entry for www.apple.com on my proxy server and download the really complicated 'success.html' file from apple. It certainly isn't rocket science.
So I have it working - iOS6 is completely fooled by my dummy 'success.html' file an is now working on my internet-less wifi network.
PS Just had the 2nd Telstra technician here checking the lines and connections... more adjustments and changed to different lines, and still no internet. It has to be something at the exchange end - it is ADSL syncing and receiving a dynamic IP, logging in and then about 6 seconds later the ADSL connection just drops out. The technician's modem (which doesn't login) remained connected without any problem. Not much chance of it being fixed in time for Christmas now - we've got less than 3 hours of work time left before everybody goes home to wait for the man in the red suit. And somehow I don't think Santa will be able to deliver me internet for Christmas.... (sigh)

Getting error message 'unable to connect to server' when trying to access iCloud

Trying to access my iCloud account but keep getting error message 'unable to connect to server'. Need help please.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following.
Go to Settings > iCloud > Delete Account (This removes your data from your device, but not from your account, it will be added back later).
Restart the device.
Sign in again (Settings > iCloud, don't use the 'Create New Apple ID' button).

I keep getting error 206 lost internet connection

I can't install Creative Cloud. I have an excellent internet connection at work and the installation keeps stalling becaue I get this stupid error. What is the problem?

I chatted with two different Adobe tech support and then talked to yet another person on the phone (a total of 6 hours or so of troubleshooting) and they would not able to help. The conclusion was that our firewall was interfering with the installation. After I got the firewall to reboot, I still had the same problem. The next day however, the problem went away and the Creative Cloud desktop app installed with no problem. Perhaps Adobe or the installation system puts a hold on the IP after a number of install attempts, and once the firewall was rebooted and 24 hours passed they released the IP and the darn thing installed.

Why are you updating Firefox so fast? I get problems with my Internet Bank every time before they have updated their software. And by that time you already have a new version.

I get a popup that tells there is a new version and I don't know how to get rid of it.
As I have said in the question I get problems when you are updating too many times in a year.
I didn't know where to ask this question. Maybe there is a better place, but I could not find it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did finally find out that I could uncheck Firefox update and wait until my bank have done their update. (And I can of course use Internet Explorer...) But I still think you make new versions too fast.

Unable to restore my iphone 4 getting error message 9 no connection to itunes

iv'e read a few with similar errors. my iphone 4 will not restore. as soon as its to the verifying part of the restore process it sends me an error message 9.
anybody help. done all the usual. tried a MAC changed the USB sockets on my PC. Changed the lead/cable.
phone restored in the past no problem.

No all security set to off or nothing.
why does it not go past
3 verifying restore to itunes.

i think it has something to with apple and they have blocked my use of itunes for some reason.

I designed a logo that has a gold rule that feathers at both ends. When I save this as an EPS and try to use it on a dark background, the entire logo looks fine, except the rule...where it feathers it turns white when it should fade out.

As doug says EPS doesn't support any transparency. The fade out you are using is a transparency effect. Use PDF 1.4 or above to display the transparency properly.

I have a Time Capsule that I've been using for a while now. I've got a Windows 8 PC and a few MacBooks that I use with it.
Recently, I had to hard-reset my Windows 8 PC (with the reset button while everything was locked up). When it came back, I couldn't connect to my Time Capsule anymore. I get the error message: "Could not connect to the disk. Make sure NetBIOS is enabled and try again (53)."
I've tried:
Checking on the NetBIOS service to ensure that it's running
Explicitly enabling NetBIOS on the Internet connection
Renaming my Time Capusle to have no spaces or disallowed characters
Pinging both the Time Capsule's name and IP address (both respond)
Any suggestions?

Do you have bonjour installed? If not I recommend you install the full apple airport utilities for windows.. although only win7 is available.. it does install in win8. Apple btw need to do some work on making windows access current.
In windows explorer, simply type the address to the TC in the address bar.
\\TCname or \\TCipaddress
If it fails.. turn off firewall and ensure the PC is located at home..as opposed to work or public. A windows PC can go stupid and think it is suddenly in a new environment for no apparent reason. Your reset might do exactly such a thing.
If you still have issues.. are you getting full internet access ok?
Can you open the airport utility in windows and find the TC? If so go to the file sharing page and turn on the guest account to read and write access. This helps loads.. and make sure the workgroup is set to WORKGROUP.

Disable your firewall and antivirus software, restart your iPad, quit iTunes, restart your computer and then try to update again.

Why do I get an error in iTunes that my internet connection is not good when it is not a problem?

I am trying to use the "Radio" in iTunes and can successfully access all options except the talk shows. When I click on talk shows I get this.
My internet connection is OK. This has been happening for over a week.

I suggest you browse this forum. This issue has been going on for over a week now and there's hundreds of similar questions already. It happens to some people part of the time, some people for all the time, not at all to others. Some genres for some, others for others, etc. Different versions of iTunes and systems. There's some things that seemed to help some people, though I suspect it was just coincidental or it solved a similar but unrelated issue.
It's not clear what the issue is, or where it lies. If it's something to do with Apple's servers they are not likely to discuss it. There was an issue like this a few months ago with the weather widgets and people kept on posting with no news until one day it suddenly started working, again with no news. If you wish to, you can report to Apple.

it seems to pick up South Africa and the UK - in fact I have set up an alternative UK apple ID so I suppose it sees my ipad, checks my "accounts" and constructs the note accordingly? Weird.
It would have been REALLY helpful to have a clear indication of content availability when setting up the South African account. I have found the several places where the experts explain how to work around this problem with fake US addresses and voucher payments. I don't want to do that.
I have to say that my limited experience with iTunes and Apple over three years (previously on PC/Windows) is way below what I would expect from Apple inc ... this incident must have wasted four hours of my life ...
