IPhone 5 internet video stream cuts out
iPhone 5 video stream on safari and in apps cuts out after a few seconds and displays quicktime logo, but I can still hear audio.
This happens on my wi-fi and on the 3G connection.
Solutions???

My Iphone 4s' internet has completely cut out.
I am in my house so am therefore connected to wifi, it even says connected to wifi, the 3g is up and i usually have 3 - 5 bars. my carrier has just been topped up and it still doesnt work. whenever i go onto the internet it says "Safari cannot open the page because the network connection was lost". If i go to youtube it says "cannot connect to youtube" and my texting apps (ie whatsapp) just say connecting and cut out for ages. this problem occured yesterday in the morning and i did some things like turned off and on cellular data and it started working again. Later it cut out again for longer and i fixed it after a while now it has cut out and it hasnt come back since. i am with Giffgaff - O2. i have tried reseting network settings and i have tried taking out sim and putting it back in.

No. Not even sure what you mean by that. The phone is trying to access particular IP addresses on the internet, which don't exist on "my own network."

No again. The fact that your router works with other devices doesn't mean it's compatible with the iPhone. Did you even try restarting and updating the router as suggested? -

IPhone OS 3.1.2 cuts out internet as soon as i connect it.
As soon as i turn the wifi on and connect to my BT voyager 2100 router the internet cuts out on all computers and devices connected to the router, even the iPhone wont connect! It reports its connected though, as do all of the computers, but when i try to load a webpage it wont even start loading, and the green lights that normally flash on the router when i am loading a webpage dont flash at all.

CheersMaybe it's too much for the OS to search for everything (E-mails, Contacts, Maps, Notes... ect) on a device that is capable of holding more then 600 applications.
Maybe the user have a big e-mail list or a big e-mail or a large list of contacts or large notes or maybe lists of favourites...
Apple should have focused the search function only to search for apps because of the 11 pages limitation instead of searching for "anything" while 3rd party apps or web apps could do the job.
Deleting apps is not a bad idea but what if he have a very important app or a very expensive app that he would like to keep that start with the letter "T"... like maybe... TomTom or "M" for Magellan... That would be a waste.

I have a 2nd generation ATV and my audio and video is cutting out.
The problem is intermittent. Sometimes the picture continues and only the sound skips. Sometimes both the audio and video cut out and return a second or so later. This even happens on the menu screens where the video and/or sounds will "hiccup". This happens when playing internet conent (like from iCloud or iTunes radio) or when playing content resident on my home computer via home sharing. I've tried the setup at more than one house, on more than one Wifi network and hooked to more than one TV, but the problem still occurs. Can anyone offer suggestions for a solution?

Voice Memo on iphone 5 has started to cut out at the 25.40 mark.
I have been using the voice memo function on the iphone without any issues with it recording to any length desired.
I use it to record interviews and podcasts. However, last night, without warning, it has decided to just stop recording at the 25.40 mark. At first I thought it was something that I did but then during a second interview, it cut out at exactly the same time again.
I have recently updated to IOS7 but have used the voice memo since without problems so I doubt its the update that has caused this.
Anyone know of any fixes?

AI have a 5c, and here is how I was able to trim a test recording:
1. Open the recording file in Voice Memos.
2. Tap "Edit" at the bottom. It's between the arrow-up symbol and trash can.
3. On the right side, near the bottom-right corner you'll see a blue box with a round blue dot at the top-left corner of it, and another one at the bottom-right. This is the Trim button. Tap it.
4. You should now see the recording with the "wavelengths", a vertical blue line (with a blue dot at top and bottom), and on each side a red line (also with red dot at top/bottom).
5. Touch the left red line and you'll notice you can touch/drag it to the beginning point of your desired portion of the recording.
6. Touch the right red line and touch/drag it for the recording's end point.
7. Hit the Play button to play just the trimmed portion, making sure it's what you want.
8. Once it's what you want, touch "Trim". Up pops "Trim Original" or "Save as New Recording".
On emailing it, go to the trimmed copy and click the arrow-up symbol, which will allow you to either message or email it.
EDIT: I found you can name your recording file to what you want by tapping the default name of it. A cursor will appear where then you can delete and retype a custom file name. Great for emailing so you recipients will know what it is by looking at it.

Streaming cutting out when streaming from iTunes libarary to Apple TV
Up until a day or two ago everything was working fine, and I haven't changed anything with my WIFI settings or anything else.
I usually load up a .mp4 file into iTunes libary and then play it, and then I click on the Apple TV icon to stream it to my TV. This works fine, however after about 10 minutes it can cut out, and then when I restart it, it's fine, but then cuts out again later.
At first I thought it was a problem with the file I had converted from AVI to MP4, but I just tired a native MP4 and I still get the issue.

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

Can somebody please help?
I have copied some video clips into itunes and onto my Ipod classic. When they are in Itues they play correctly. When I play them on the Ipod they cut out about 2/3rds of the way through so I keep missing the ending.
Any advice greatfully received.

Can you try to:
1. Try to change HDMI port and set HDMI source on the TV accordingly
2. Adjust the resolution of the PC and on the TV to 1024x768 and check if you the video still goes black on the TV. If everything works ok, gradually adjust the resolution.
3. If the Vizio has a default refresh rate of 120Hz, try to lower it down to 60hz
4. As per this reference, try to use a different HDMI 1.4/1.4a cable or a component cable to see if it's a cable problem or the HDMI port on the TV.

My ipod video sound cuts out after 30 sec
I play my movie and the sound cuts out after a while and then it only plays the video with no sound. It's not the video because it works fine on my computer and all the other videos are doing the same thing. I found if I rewind or fast foreward the sound comes back but only for a little while and the sound cuts out again.
This happens with the current firmware 1.1 upgrade on the iPod. You can downgrade the firmware to 1.0 and this will solve that problem. Doing it this way you won't have to restore the iPod which will erase it. If you can't do this then you can restore the iPod using the previous updater.

2) Select File->Export
3) Select "Movie to MPEG-4" beside "Export:", then click the OPtions button
4) Select "Video" & make sure the "Video Format" is set to "Pass through"

I have a few video clips that have been compressed in H.264 that I wanted to put on a DVD so that I can display them on a TV. I transcoded them to MPEG-2 using compressor 2 then imported them into DVD pro 4 and placed them on track V1. When I attempt to play it in the viewer it does fine for the first clip but when it crosses the boundary into the second clip the video disappears although the sound continues. If I pause the video at that point the picture reappears then plays normally until the playhead hits the next boundary. If I drag the playhead manually there is no problem in the video display. The video cut-out occurs in the simulator as well. I have checked the time codes and there are no gaps between the clips.

1.8 GHz dual processor G5 Mac OS X (10.4.8)This problem crops up from time to time. I sort of remember someone having a reason for it but I can't find it right now. It may have something to do with the audio and video clips not being the same length, but I could be off on that.
Nevertheless, it doesn't matter much, the problem only shows up within DVDSP. Once you build your project, which creates the Video_TS folder, you can open it in DVD Player application to prove to yourself that nothing is wrong. When you format the DVD it will also be OK. -
Audio and Video sound cuts out when adjusting the volume whilst playing powerpoint presentations
I have just bought a new hp laptop and when running power point presentations with embedded media (for my job) I cannot adjust the volume of the sound when the audio or video file is playing. It simply cuts out and stops the video or sound from playing. I thought at first that this might be an Office 2010 issue but now it seems more likely to be a setting on the laptop. I hear you on this. I just tested out the 3GS video for a concert where band mixed electronica and guitars.. boom boom satellites and I noticed when close to the speaker side of the stage the sound cut in/out. But when I moved farther away sound remained consistant.
What I may suggest is lowering the volume to mid range when closer to your sound source then
correct (if needed) using outside software.. iMovie Final Cut, etc..

FMS Streaming Cuts Out and VOD restarts
I just purchased and installed FMS for my music streaming service. I got the streaming set up fine so that it streams mp3s using the VOD application, but quite regularly the stream will just cut out and the VOD application in the administration section will just disappear and restart with 0 clients. It doesn't even happen when I have that many connected clients, at times it's happened with just 15 users, and i've had Red5 running over 200 clients at a time. Does anyone know what the problem could be? This is a real pain as I have to monitor the server all the time!

The connection rejected line repeats for a while until I start the VOD application manually. There don't seem to be any other error messages in other logs. -
Internet video streaming on G5 laggy, choppy
I have a G5 Mac Pro. Latest OSX one can put on it. Currently hooked up via DVI to HDMI to 46" LCD TV. Largely, everything works great. All sound and video and software works fine. The one problem I have run into which could be a deal breaker is that video streaming from the web is terrible. It is laggy, choppy, slow, etc. Sometimes the sound is off. The install is pretty fresh. I haven't checked to see what media apps might be installed, for example Flip4Mac. I have hunted around and heard things like Flash, Silverlight, or just that PPC processors cannot handle video streaming from the Internet. The video card seems standard and DVD and local video files play fine. All updates are installed. It is also like this when using a regular Dell LCD using DVI. Any suggestions?

HT204291 Apple TV has huge lag when airplay music from iPhone 5, but video streaming is just fine.
My new iPhone 5 has trouble with airplay music, however, it did perfectly with video sharing.
Symptoms: In "Music" app, turn on airplay, tv screen shows the current playing song. But, it has a huge lag, time jumps every 2 second instead of continously roll over. Switch to "Pandora", same issue. But with youtube video, both video and sound appear very normal.
I tried with my old iPhone 4, no problems at all. I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with the 5. Any idea how to fix this?Same here. Streaming from my MBA 2012 to apple tv3 works flawlessly, but any type of streaming with iphone 5 has huge lag. I have 10 mbps of internet dl speed and a cisco N broadband router.

It takes for ever to stream a short video clip recorded on the iphone 4s to the Apple TV? A lot of the time it doesn't seem to want to mirror it on to the Apple TV Why?

Don't seem to get the problem, when I record video on my Fuji camera, then copy to my computer, then add that file to my ipad 2 through iTunes. When I then mirror this onto Apple TV it plays just fine.
Had a new router today as well, just in case this was the problem. It's made no difference:-(After fighting with At&t Uverse, we got a new modem and it appears that that was the problem. I've successfully mirrored three different apps to the apple tv and so far so good after 25 min. Let's see what happens in the next few days.

ITunes wifi sync not working with iOS 7.1
