IPhone 5/iOS 6 - replying to emails using "Outlook Style" Format?

Hi all:
I've googled around for the answer to this, but haven't found anything particularly helpful, so I'm reaching out to the community here in hopes that someone has a solution.
My company is offering us the choice of continuing with a Blackberry, or switching to an iphone 5. The main thing holding me back from switching to the iPhone is that I don't see a way to change the format of a reply email in the default Mail.app so that it is using the "Outlook Style" format.
That is, when replying via the Mail.app on an iPhone, you will get this email format:
On DATE at TIME, "SO and SO" <email address> wrote:
<blurb of text>
However, I want my replies to look like this:
From:
Sent:
To:
Subject:
Does anyone have any suggestion for how to change the reply email format so that it follows the Outlook style? I do not want people to know that I am replying from a mobile device, and it is readily apparent that you are doing so via the iPhone. (The blackberries do not have this problem as they conform with the Outlook format by default). I also think it looks very unprofessional in the business environment where the vast majority of enterprises use Outlook as their email client.

Hi gdgmacguy, thats so much for your reply. Currently this is only happening with one email address, not all. I also asked our exchange admin and he didn't have any ideas... any clues as to what to have him look for?

Looking also for an app that allows me to merge email and send them out to each recipient individually. Apparently that's not possible yet. Here's what the guys at RedbitsApps told me about Group Email capabilities:
"The current version of the app relies on the device operating system to send the emails. For this reason, sending individual email instead of a single email to multiple recipients is not possible. Apple doesn't allow apps to send single emails to many recipients easily. We may use a custom sending software in a future version."

Receiving email using outlook

I am having trouble in receiving emails using outlook. I only some on my ipad but receive them on my PC!
Can anyone help?

We worked with Microsoft on this issue and updating our DirSync set-up solved the issue.
We are running a hybrid setup with Exchange 2010 locally talking to O365. We had set this up as a fairly standard Sync but did not enable hybrid when we set it up as it didn't seem warranted based upon our needs.
Our set up had been running fine for over a year and suddenly this issue cropped up. The MS engineers determined that Outlook would talk with our exchange and since we didn't have the Hybrid Sync happening, for some reason it wasn't passing on the Cloud
Exchange address when the mailbox wasn't found on the local Exchange 2010 server.
Nothing was explained as to why only accounts with Resource Account ownership were experiencing this issue, but updating our DirSync server and setting it to Hybrid did solve the issue. Curiosity is less important than my time so I'm moving on...

Receiving multiple duplicate emails using Outlook 2010

I am receiving multiple duplicate emails using Outlook 2010. The email receiving, can go up to few hundreds copies. Not
all emails i receive will be duplicated. There is no common sender for those affected emails. Usually when i received email from my Outlook 2010 the email in Outlook Web Access will be gone. But this time round for those affected duplicating emails, it still
can be found in the Outlook Wed Access. Any solution for this problem? Currently
I would need to go into the Outlook Web Access to delete the affected email then the duplication will be stop. Or I would need to cancel the Send/Receive & restart Outlook. But this 2 method is only temporary solution. The problem will keep coming
back.

I think you are working with a POP3 account and issue of replicated emails in Outlook is common in the case of POP3 connection. So, first of all uncheck the
“Leave a copy of messages on the server” option and see the results.
Also, see the TasK Manager, if there are multiple “Outlook.exe” are running under the
“Processes” tab, then end the unnecessary programs as each of them downloading the same email multiple times.
Apart from it, if there are numbers of factors behind the replication of emails in Microsoft Outlook such as:
Rules (Exploiated Rules)
Scanning Programs Integration
Damaged Outlook Profile

My iphone 5 and ipad mini will both receive emails but not send emails using ntl world. The isp is ntlworld.com. Virgin, who run ntl, cannot help.

You have the wrong outgoing (SMTP) server settings. Contact your email provider for the correct settings.

OUTLOOK 2010. Does not reply to emails using the same address that received it.

Since last week our Outlook accounts are not working properly, when users reply a message it does not reply using the same address that received it, it appears the personal account instead.
We are using exchange accounts, using Outlook 2010 and the accounts affected are automapped to a principal account (.ost).
We already tried to recreate outlook .ost profile, repair Outlook installation, reinstall Office.
Can somebody help?

We have received many reports as your description since last week. It sounds like the sending behavior in Outlook 2010 has been changed by some Windows/Office update and goes back to the behavior before.
Before we go any further, I have to mention some of the history for Outlook 2010. In Outlook 2010 without SP1, Mailto’s will use the default/principal account for message when you use Microsoft Outlook 2010 which has multiple accounts delivered to different
data file. However, in later version (Outlook 2010 SP1/SP2), Outlook doesn’t use the default account set in Account settings for new messages. Instead, it uses the account associated with the mailbox or *.pst file you have in focus.
Actually, this behavior is controlled by the registry keys. At this point, I suggest we check the following registry entries are exist and set it to the proper value.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Options\Mail
DWORD value: NewItemsUseDefaultSendingAccount
Value type: REG_DWORD: 1 for force, 0 to disable.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\14.0\outlook\options
Value Name: ForceAccountSelection
Value type: REG_DWORD: 1 for force, 0 to disable.
Close the registry editor and restart Outlook to check if the behavior what you want would come back.

Delayed received emails Using Outlook 2010 and Exchange Server 2010 SP3

Hi,
Some of our users are encountering delayed emails. When our clients sent email to us, some of our clients received this an hour late, sometimes they will received this the next day.
Our users uses Outlook 2010 and our Exchange Server is 2010. We have already patch this to SP3 as it says that the delayed emails was already fixed in this SP3 but we still encounter the delayed emails.

Hi Collins,
In order to narrow down this issue, please use OWA to send and receive a test email, see whether the delay will still happen or not.
From your description, the issue happens when certain users receive emails from internal. I recommend you use message tracking log to determine which step delays.

Cant receive email using outlook 2007

Hello,
I downloaded outlook 2007 and its not working correctly.
I am able to send out emails, but I cant receive anything back.
I have the latest outlook connector (

Hmm as far as I remember this is not the last version of the connector out there, please check on metalink, I'm currently runing a .9 version (and I'm only using outlook for testing purpose, so I could also be outdated !)

Exporting Groupwise email using Outlook

First time poster.
I have a Groupwise 7 environment setup. I want to export mailboxes to PST format. I've heard about Outlook Connector and will install that along with Outlook 2003. My questions are the following:
By using the above setup, will any mailbox data be missing when I connect to a mailbox using Outlook? Will all the calendar and address book data be picked up by Outlook?
When I export a mailbox to PST format, will any data be missing from the PST, such as calendar or address book?
I just want to make sure all the data from a Groupwise mailbox will be in the PST and there are no conversion issues.

Sounds like a question you can readily answer to your own satisfaction very easily. Its certainly not a certified, guaranteed, or support way to do it. So I have no idea if that would work. But I know what does. Look at Kernel by Nucleus Technologies - they have an excellent tool which will directly burp out a perfect PST from GroupWise. It is our "parting gift generator" for ex-employees who need stuff from their mailboxes, or for handing off archives of e-mail for legal discovery, or both simultaneously.

Icloud email (using outlook)

i downloaded icloud and it put my icloud email into outlook. All was fine until about 2 weeks ago, when i noticed that i could not send, but receive emails. I am not sure how to fix it. the server times out.
