Iphone 5 ios7 shuts off randomly while charging, surfing the net, on lockscreen

I had the same problem with my iphone 5 after updating to 7.0.4. For one month the phone was doing well than the symptoms started. First the phone had 60% off battery i plug it in the wall charger and after 5 minutes it turns off. I did a hard reset and the phone boot properly. Than i plug it another time and after 10 minutes i went to check and it was down again. My wall charger and usb cable are genuine. I tried with different charger and usb cable but with no results.
That i tried to charge via PC and i had sucsses. Than another day the phone had 93% of battery and using 3G on youtube the phone crashed (turn off). Then again and againg using the 3G. I kept charging the phone via PC those days because with the wall charger it shuts off, in the same time i didn't use 3G and cellular data, only wireless. The phone went fine for 2 days than it started crashing again and i had to do a hard reset every time to get it back on because the screen went black. Also on the diagnosis section it started creating panic.plist and reset counter. I searched on web for fixes and did a restore to 7.1.1 puting the phone on DFU mode. The phone got worse after the update, it started crashing every 5 minutes, with 3G, celluar data, wireless ON or OFF it didn't matter anymore. It started a new symptom with the battery full or half or any time i pushed the sleep/wake button after 1 minute the phone turned off, every single time and i had to do hard reset. Than for one day what i did was letting the iphone with the screen always on and with no nano sim in. I let it drain than i recharged full via PC and put another nano sim card. Since than the phone was fully functional, never crashes or turn off, i started charging it again with my old wall charger and usb cable. I think the problem was with the sim socket, plus old sim was macro and before puting it to the iphone when i first get it, i cutted the macro sim with scissors to make it nano to fit in the phone, and i pushed it hard the slot to feet perfectly.

My iPhone 6 shuts off randomly after using the camera or camera apps and during texts. It also needs to be plugged in while it still has 28% battery left. Anyone else? I restored and activated as new without any resolution to the problem. I am being told it's probably "an underlying hardware problem." Not thrilled.

IPhone 5s shuts off randomly

I purchased my iPhone 5s a week ago and two days ago, it started to shut off randomly. Holding the Wake/Sleep button boots the phone up again, but when the bright screen with the Apple logo dimms a little bit, it doesn't change to the Home Screen, but completly shuts down again. Hard reset won't help. The only solution is by plugging it to the USB cable and start charging. Then the phone reboots twice and goes to the Home Screen and is usable. Battery is at 83%.
This is really annoying because it switches off randomly. You can't be reached or send texts when you need it. It happens 6-10 times per day and not always is a charger around to boot it up again. Does anyone else have this problem?

Have an iPhone 4 that is now shutting off randomly including during calls. The iPhone is roughly about five months old. When the iPhone shuts down and tries to restart it usually take two or three times before it stays on, but when it does it sometimes has a dark line down the center and shuts off. Not very happy about the iPhone doing this. The store we had purchased the iPhone 4 from suggested that we contact Apple to see about a replacement, or send it away for service. As you can tell we are not happy at this point since the iPhone is crucial part of our day for work and family. What should we do at this point?

I Already popped out the Sim Card & let my phone sit without it for a few minutes then put it back in. Sometimes it will work again & it will say it recognizes the SIM Card but more times then not it still says it cant recognize it! So I have to take it out & reinsert it multiple times.
& I have done a complete restore 2 times & a back up restore 3 times. Nothing seems to be working.
I am planning on going to the Apple Store this week, wish me luck!

After I updated to 8.3 last week, my phone started shutting off randomly. It will say I have no battery (not every time) then come back and say I have 42% It's really ******* me off, becuse I will be in the middle of doing mail or writing a text and it shuts off

The lock button does not turn OFF the iPhone. It will give you a screen with the option to turn OFF the iPhone. Possibly the battery is faulty. Make Genius reservation and take iPhone to Apple store for free battery diagnostic testing and evaluation.

Iphone 4s shut off at 20 % charge.

My iphone shut off at 20% charge.
i plug it into chager and charge show 20% within couplr of second.
Unpluged the charger and discharged again at 20%.
Tries reset ,restore couple of times.

Iphone has shut off randomly numerous times

My iphone will shut off out of the blue for no reason. I then have to reset the phone by holding power and home button until apple icon appears. Any way to stop this? Do i need to take it in and get a new phone?

Plug it into a wall outlet for at least 30 minutes, then try resetting it, again: Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.
If that doesn't work, make an appointment at any Apple store.

It's almost impossible to say whether it's the battery or something else. If you're running 6.0.1 and you've done a restore and set it up as new, there are no other software updates to try.
If there's no Apple Store near you, contact Apple Care. If you can't wait for a replacement phone, you may be able to get an express replacement (they ship you the replacement before you ship them yours, but they will put a hold on your credit card until yours is in their hands).

Shutting off randomly, then freezing on the apple

So for no apparent reason, my ipod touch keeps shutting off randomly, without asking me to slide to turn it off. When i try to turn it back on, it freezes on the apple and goes black again. My battery is close to fully charged, and it turns on when connected to my Computer. Has been dropped 2-3 times but this was many months ago. This problem recently occured yesterday. No water or liquids have gotten to it either. Please help!!

How do I prevent my iPhone 4 from turning off randomly while charging and connected to MacBook Air?

My iPhone 4 randomly powers down while charging via USB to my MacBook Air. This has happened twice while I was sleeping and always makes for a great morning. Here's what happens:
I keep my iPhone 4 ON and connect it to my MacBook Air - battery charge level is typically around 20%
I keep my MacBook Air connected to AC power
I go to sleep
I wake up without my alarm and find my iPhone is now OFF
I turn it on and find the charge level to be at 100%
It seems to only happen when connected to the MacBook Air. Has anyone else seen this or have a potential remedy to this issue?

IPhone 5 shuts off randomly, help me please

I got this experience maybe 3-4 times already. The phone shuts off even there is a high battery percentage (like >50%). The temperature was normal for the last 3 timess it happened.
I happened today again. But this time, the temp. around 32F. I went outside and enjoyed the snow. I took it off from my pocket to take pictures.
It was fine at first. Then, it suddenly turned off and showed the battery die icon.
I went inside and charged my phone. It showed 42% battery.
Should I get replacement? The phone is 2 months old.
Please help

mine is doing the same thing, it hits 50% and shuts down. now it has only done 3 times in the past 48 hours. The crazy thing sometimes it will turn on sometimes it will not. and trying to start it from the home/sleep button rest it may or may not turn on. I did a rest and restore, let's see if that makes any difference. My iPhone5 is on 5 weeks old and it is now become a concern of reliability for me. Never had a problem with an iphone but i guess there is always a first time.

IPhone 3GS Shuts off Randomly

I've had my iPhone 3GS since Feb. of 2010. The same phone since Feb. 2010 with no problems. I noticed my phone started shutting off around 20% in December. I didn't think of it as a big problem. Then it got worse and started shutting off around 35% in mid-January 2012. Then it started shutting off at 50% around early March. Now it's June 2012 and it's basically shutting off around 70-80%. Sometimes it shuts off around 87% when I try to play a phone game. It's gotten to the point where I can't use my phone outside at all because it'll just shut off. I've tried restoring the phone and that doesn't work. I've tried "X-ing" out comments I don't use. I've known other people with this problem who've tried restoring to factory settings and that didn't work. I don't want to waste my upgrade on the iPhone 4S when the iPhone 5 is coming soon. I don't know what to do. This phone is ******* me off. Please help.
Is there a battery replacement that I can get? I don't have money to cough up for another phone. I don't want to waste my contract upgrade for another phone. I want to wait until the iPhone 5 to upgrade. And I'm out of warranty now so Apple probably won't replace my phone.

My iPhone 4 shut off randomly and wont turn back on.

Well I was texting on my iPhone 4 and then when I went to look and see if the person had replied my phone was off! I tried holding the on/off button and nothing happened. Why is it doing this?? I have had it for about a month and idk if the color makes a difference but its white and yes I do have a heavy duty case on it. It has not been dropped in forever too. Thanks

and the only way it turns back on is if I plug it in. I didn't have any new problems with it until I updated it to iOS 6. Sometimes when it shuts off it tells me I need to plug it into iTunes and takes me all the way back to the iOS 6 setup screen. Is there anything that can be done to prevent it from shutting off like this or a way to fix it, since I'm not able to go back to another operating system?
