IPhone 5 (iOS7) suddenly locked me out. Unable to activate.

Was using my phone as usual. Suddenly locked and now I am unable to "activate" the phone I have been using for months. Unable to call support becuase it is my only phone. Unable to restore phone because I back it up at my office computer. It is currently a $900 paperwait.

Were you running iOS 7 beta? If so, as a developer you need to log into the Developer forum for assistance.

Does anyone know of an app I can use so that I can lock myself out of my phone for a specified time interval? There are times where my phone becomes a distraction and it would be easier to just lock myself out of it for 45 mins than to go to the trouble of putting it somewhere were I won't notice it and it will be too far away from me to just pick it up and start searching social media sites as procrastination.

It's called "SelfControl". It can be a little hard to learn to use but it's worth the effort.

IPhone 4G suddenly locked up. Cannot slide to open, and cannot slide to shutdown. How do I get out of this problem?

Camera would not work the last couple of times i tried using it this week. Using the small symbol in lower right I was able to slide up after several tries and got some good shorts of my foot. Shut it down. Few minutes later tried to open and slide would not work. Frozen. Tried again this AM still the same. Then tried to turnoff for a few minutes but slide to close system down wouldnot slide. So appears to be complete frozen even though I can hook up to computer and play music from iphone thru iTunes computer program.

Messages app suddenly locks me out

Happened to me twice lately, I'm texting with my 2 daughters as a group, and after a few minutes I find myself "locked out" and unable to respond, the bottom field to type is just not there, it's vanished... I quit the app, I launch it again, still that particular exchange is not available for me to participate, though it will be back to normal hours or days later, when not active anymore...

If you are having issues with your iPhone's Messages application becoming unresponsive during use, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups

Help! iphone 4 suddenly locked - no service

Please help!
Suddenly it appears that my iphone 4 has been locked- on the screen appears "no service", and it says that I should connect with USB to itunes. I did that, and while trying to restore my phone- suddenly itunes does not recognize my iphone and it says "the iphone you are trying to activate(?) has no SIM card installed".
Does this mean all my photos and stuff have been erased completely ???? Is there anyway to recover the photos? (Unfortunately last synch was in April...)
Should I contact the nearest service lab, or can I attempt to solve this issue on my own ?

You've probably lost everything since the last sync.
Either the SIM card has failed or there may be a hardware problem with the phone. I'd take it in to your carrier or local Apple store for service.

That message usually indicates that your phone was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it.
Then when you updated your phone it locked back up to the original carrier.

My iPhone 3 has locked me out saying it is disabled and to connect to iTunes. So I connect it to iTunes, then iTunes says it cannot connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a passcode? Both ways I'm locked out of the phone completely.

Is your iPhone a Factory Unlocked iPhone or Locked to a Service Provider ?
Have you tried Restoring your iPhone by taking your device in Recovery Mode ?

Due to my brother locking me out of my ipod touch I had to wait an hour to log in again. Unfortunately when I did this, I, again put in the wrong password twice more, each time locking me out for a further 60 minutes. On my 3rd attempt to log in the wrong password was entered again. This time though instead of logging me out for another 60mins it now tells me to "connect to itunes" but I have no idea how to do this and I am now unable to use my ipod. Please help.

Wow, just posting and it seems that there is a solution that is working for me...
What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice!
