IPhone 5 keep resetting

My iPhone 5 started glitching out and restarting until finally it would not turn on. So I plugged it in and I was able to get about 10 more minutes out of it in which I reset my phone and restored it. But now it won't even turn on when plugged in. It just keeps showing the apple start up logo and then shutting off before it could finish booting up. I didn't drop it, get water on it, jailbreak it, or anything else! What can I do?

If you cannot get passed the Apple logo on your iPhone, then the next step would be to restore it using the step in the article below. If you have a back up on iTunes or iCloud you can put that data back on.

Hi guys,
I've been experiencing this issue with my iPhone 5 for the past few days now. At first my phone stopped charging via the mains charger, it would only charge if I plugged the USB into a computer. Over the weekend, this stopped working too (USB) unless I switched the phone off whilst it was plugged in. Yesterday the phone battery died out (0%) as I left my apple charger at work so when I got to work this morning I began charging the phone.
Much to my annoyance, whilst on charge, the battery did increase, however the phone would automatically keep resetting itself every 2-3 minutes. I did not think much of it at first but when it kept happening I thought something must be wrong. I then took it off charge to make a call, midway through the call the phone died completely, as in switched off. It only switched back on when I plugged it in to be charged again. Once again whilst it was on charge, it automatically reset itself every 2-3 mins.
I decided to come on here for answers, and found doing a hard reset (lock and home button held down) as well as doing a complete wipe of the phone and restarting as a new iPhone to be solutions. I have tried both, and neither have worked.
The phone resets more often when it is plugged in to charge, and less often when it is unplugged (but it still happens, regardless).
If anybody has any further suggestions / advice, it would be much appreciated. The phone is roughly 9 months old and has never had any problems/issues like this until now.

So I just got back from the Apple Store. They ran some test on my phone and stated there was a "chip" error that was taking place. They said it might of happened when I downloaded IOS7, but could not say for sure. Now my phone was only a few months old so it fell under their warranty so they swapped out the phone with a new one. I would take your phone into Apple and exchange it out if your screen keeps freezing. Hope this helps anyone out there that might be having the same sort of issue. Almost forgot, I'm not sure what setting he went into on my phone but he pulled up the activity that showed my phone's log. If you can find this and see the word "panic" that means your chip is messed up and your phone is broke.

I went to update my iPhone to iOS6 and when the software finished loading my phone froze. When I reset it and turned it back on it keeps restarting over and over and over. My sister and I spent almost an hour on the phone with Apple tech support only to hear them say "Restore to factory settings" Now I've gone and tried to do a hard reset on the phone with iTunes and it's not letting me because I need to update my iTunes software........Isn't a software update what screwed me in the first place!!!!!!

There are two ways to resolve this:
You can follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) , or follow the steps below to manually find and remove TcpWindowSize and MaxGlobalTcpWindowSize entries from the Registry.
For Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7: Go to the C:\Windows folder and launch regedit.
Go to Edit > Find.

Why my iPhone 4S keep reseting by itself after iOS 7 update?

This s not funny at all. After I updated to IOS 7.0.3 couple weeks ago, there s several times my phone is reseting by itself.
When I try to turned ON again, s telling me the battery s dead and need to connect it to the power source.
After connected, is coming back again to the live and telling me the right charge of battery I had before.
Battery it was never empty or close to be. Always is around 50 % of capacity.
This happens on the middle of a call, texting or mailing.
Tell me what I could do to stop this mess up,

IPhone 5c keeps resetting

hello all,
my iphone during the week kept on cutting out randomly and turning on and off.
CAme up on my screen the connect it to iTunes which I have done now and it done the software update to the most recent. My phone worked until the next morning and it again cut out and showed the iTunes's symbol. I connected again and it says I have to factory reset it, and this has now happened to me four times.
DOes anyone know anything that may help?

IPhone 4S keeps resetting when i try to edit photos

Not sure why but everytime I try to edit/crop a picture my computer automatically resets, is this a common fault with the latest software upgrade?

has reset twice in the last week, I'll pick it up and it asks to go through all of the setup, wiping out everything on my phone. What could be the problem?

Ever since I downloaded 7.0.4 my phone has been crashing and restting all the way to the Apple logo. Just wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue? And what I can do.

Back up phone to itunes. Restore the phone to factory settings by erasing all settings and content. I would recommend you set up as new. This will let you know if you have a hardware issue. If it still crashes then you need to go see an Apple Genius.

Iphone now it says it needs to be activated and plugged into itunes. It wont let me do anything because it keeps resetting. Help please.

I cant coonect it to the computer because the iphone keeps resetting itself and the restore or activation cannot be completed. Do I just need to get a new iphone? I have a 3gs and dont want to get a new iphone. Also the iphones sim card wont work and I have tried to do a hard reset mutiple times.

Sounds like your phone was jailbroken. If it was, you will need to get another phone. That phone is permanently disabled.

I seem to have this problem as well, and only after iOS 8.3. Repeatedly reboots while charging/connected to Mac. My workaround which seems to work: ensure the screen is turned ON while charging/connected. Go to Settings>General>Auto-Lock, set to "Never". Then turn down the brightness all the way to save your battery power. You can revert to your original Auto-Lock setting when done charging. Hope this helps. We need a fix for this annoying bug asap.
