when i ring people my iphone keeps cutting out, it connects but i can hear them talking but they cant hear me talking :s

    Hey Ciara,
Thanks for the question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
I understand that you are having issues with others being able to hear you while on calls, the issue seems to be resolved by using speakerphone. This makes sense, as speakerphone utilizes a different microphone. I would advise you to take a look at the following articles:

  • BT Verve keeps cutting me off

I have a BT Verve 450 twin, had it about  2 years now. Lateley it keeps cutting me off half way through a call and when I lift handset it beeps twice. I'm not with BT anymore, a while back I changed to AOL for my line rental . Could that be why.

You need to contact AOL, as they are now your service provider. BT have nothing to do with your line any more.
Openreach maintain your line, but will only deal with service providers.
This forum is for BT customers only. Sorry.
There are some useful help pages here, for BT Broadband customers only, on my personal website.

  • Why does my iphone 4 cut calls short for no apparent reason

I have an Iphone4 on the O2 network in Scotland and it often cuts calls off for no apparent reason. Has anyone else experienced this and if si did you find a solution?

No, it isn't! Maybe I should check it, then restart iTunes, uncheck it again & restart iTunes again. Might be worth a try.

Using a reasonably small amount of common sense and intelligence, and accepting the fact that English is not everyone's native language, we can probably determine that the original topic starter is asking for help as to why his/her phone is turning off and how to prevent this from happening.

  • Why does my iphone keep dropping calls

Why does my iphone4 keep dropping calls??? It has been doing it for over a week. Does anyone have an answer.... AT&T says they are not having any problems and I have done everything but restore my phone.

Unfortunately, this has plagued the AT&T iPhone since the original model came out. It's most likely a dead zone causing the issue (I have the sameissue from time to time). You can also get a Micro Cell from AT&T, it's basically just an access point that allows you to pick up a cellular signal at home or work (where ever you set it up).
To eliminate any hardware issues, make sure you're on the latest build of the OS (4.3.3 for the AT&T iPhone 4) - I noticed you're still on 4.3.2. If you don't have a case, I suggest the Apple bumper or any case that covers the metal bezel on your phone, that will help as well.
Also, you can "reboot" your phone. To do this, hold down the metal sleep button on the upper-right corner of your phone until the "slide to power off" slider is displayed, then power off the phone. Wait a few minutes and turn it back on.
    Hope this helps!

  • Bt manhole with old wiring keeps cutting us off

Ok I've had no end of trouble a few times a year for the last two years. Every time a BT open reach engineer comes out and starts repairing something In the manhole either I or one of the neighbours gets disconnected. Today for example I was sitting there looking on the Internet, then suddenly disconnected. Then I heard a beeping sound in the street and low and behold there was a bt engineer in the street. I quickly ran out and told him he had cut me off, he didn't even realise he did he told me! I explained to him is keeps happening and more than once, he told me it was due to old copper wiring and to be honest the whole man whole box needs new wires. He also told me I need to contact BT on this matter because this is a constant problem. And to be totally honest it should never effect the service we all pay as consumers. I would like to know who I need to contact to get this problem finally solved, because it's not fare on anyone. If I was not in today I wouldn't of known and would been disconnected unknowingly. It is in the ME72QZ road. Because I will be making complaints I been a good customers for over 20 years!
    Many thanks
    Paul

  • Curve keeps cutting itself off!!!

Ok so I have had my curve for about a year and three months, I absolutely LOVE my phone! BUT for the last few weeks i have been experiencing some MAJOR issues with it! I noticed that for some reason it seemed like my battery was dying really fast like, there would be 100% charge when i leave the house in the mornings and by like 7ish the phone would be almost completely dead! So like any logical person i thought oh my battery may just be old...so i went to the closest at&t store and got a new battery! things were ok for about 3 days until today!!! I had probaly about 90% battery life when i started a phone conversation with a friend, we weren't on the phone more than 10 min before all of a sudden my phone just cut off, screen went black and just pressing the power button wouldn't allow the phone to come back on! so i took my battery out and waited a few moments, replaced the battery and the phone turned back on and loaded up..i went to call my friend back and before i could ever press the send button i notice the phone was saying 30% battery life and then i noticed the red LED light came on and my phone cut off again!!!! I really dont know what to do...and i like my phone to the point were i dont want another brand but i am close to just giving up on my beloved curve!

I have been having same problems.  I upgrade from an older curve, and the new one just shuts off and will turn back on in a few minutes.  Well my ATT store exchanged my phone to another Curve and now I am having same problem again.
Well at the same time I bought my girlfriend a new curve.  After her second one they could not tell us what to do so they offered her a pearl to replace the curve.  Now her pearl is shutting off.
5 phones brand new and they all are shutting off????  What to do???

  • PLEASE HELP - Internet keeps cutting me off - is it because of my router?

    Hello!
I live in a building where I can see many active wireless connections from my neighbors. I have my own router that is giving me a very strong signal, however, every 10 minutes or so my internet will die on me and I need to constantly shut off Airport...turn it back on, and reconnect to my router.
Do you think this is an issue with my router?

It may be that your router has a setting for the number of devices that can be active on the network. You should be able to adjust that setting as well as a connection time setting if there is one. Check your router's instructions to see how to access the web-based setup page, but I've read other posts, some of which said just type - home - into your browser's address bar, but otherwise you enter something like this for a Linksys: http://192.168.1.1
Also, you might have a problem with outside interference, refer to this Apple article - Items that can interfere with AirPort: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Airport/5.0/en/ap2082.html

  • My iphone keeps on turning off on it's own when the battery percent is 10, My iphone keeps on turning off on it's own when the battery percent is 10

    I need help thanks

Recalibrate your battery meter by letting your battery die out completely and then recharging it all the way back up - do this a couple of cycles.
