IPhone 5 keeps shutting down and needs rebooting even when fully charged?
My iPhone 5 keeps shutting down when left unattended. This requires a full reboot and this doesn't always work either. Sometimes it requires a full reboot several times. Has anyone else had this problem?
I am having the same issue with my iPhone 5s. I travelled to the UK and my phone started having this issue over there (i have turned the cellular data off). I restored my phone last night but when it asked me to set it up again, i chose for it to set up from the back up i had stored on my Mac. The problem is still presistent even though it is shutting down less often. I am going to restore it to the factory settings tonight and see if I keep getting the same issue I will take it to a Mac Genius. However if it works i will let you know

no it will not, your battery stops charging when it reaches 100%. you can verify this if you'd like to through system report - power.
once in a while however, it's best to use it under it's own power and charge it back up once it's down to 75% to keep the battery in optimal condition. -

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. I would appreciate any suggestions you might have. I did not back up my IPhone4 - stupid on my part. It just quit the other day. It is in a coma. I have tried recharging and rebooting to no avail. My greatest concern are several pictures that I cannot replace. Is their an internal sim card that perhaps could be recovered. I need to return the phone to Verizon as they mailed me a replacement due to the fact that no one at the local Verizon store could awaken the phone. Please help if you have ANY suggestions! Of course, i will backup everything in the future - just hoping for a chance with these pics and contacts.
I ceaned the fan, the computer shuts down when I hit ENTER after logging in (again, i have a password set)
I did manage to do a a start-up repair w/out the comp shutting down half way through. This was in the detailed diagnosis and repair:

My iphone 3gs has downloaded to the ios6 and it keep shutting down i need to reset it back to its former 3gs setting how do i do this
USB connection to iTunes. Back up your 3GS with your last 3GS back up. DON'T use an iPhone 4 back up or higher. It will cause exactly this.

I have ipad mini 32gb. I updated to IOS 7.1.2. Since then ipad keeps shutting down and rebooting to the apple logo. It happens so many times I cannot use the ipad. I have tried factory reset and reinstalled software in recovery mode. Ipad is only 1 1/2 years old and in great condition. Is there anything else I can do besides soend $200 to fix it?
Sounds like a hardware issue to me going by the CRC error you mentioned. I'd make a Genius Bar reservation (you'll need your Apple ID) if you have a nearby Apple Store and get it evaluated. The evaluation is free but repair/replacement could incur other charges.

Yes I've connected it to iTunes.. Reset the phone completely and synced phone again. It's also turned off twice today and when it comes back on its saying searching in the top left corner were your signal and network carrier should be?

My iphone 5 keeps shutting down and restarting. I have tried powering it completely off and reseting through itunes. I had to call someone back three times just to finish my 2 minute conversation. I have changed cords and charging cubes. I have install the updated software (which took many tries because it kept restarting. The screen freezes, then turns into crazy lines, then shuts down.

Because there is something wrong with the iPad? Try restoring the device with iTunes. Start with that.

The problem is your friend's music does not belong to you. It is owned by your friend.
I'm afraid you cannot do what you are trying to do. Restoring the iPhone is what you would have to do.
In the future, put your music on the computer and transfer it to the iPhone, not the other way. -
After start-up from sleep mode, Mail 6.2 shuts down and needs to be rebooted
After starting my iMac (Mountian Lion OS) from sleep mode and then staring Mail, Mail will crash (shut down) and needs to be restarted. This does not happen every time but enough to be annoying. Does anyone else also experience this and is there a fix? I have sent problem reports to Apple but they just seem to go into a black hole with no response. I would appreciate any help or advice. Thanks in advance.
I am also seeing the symptoms of this on my large (3500+) network of macs. We have seen it happen on MacBooks and MacBook Pros. I am curious to know do you have multiple airports in your environment or a single airport?
Also have you found any way to mitigate these effects (i.e does it still happen if you go to the apple menu and choose the sleep command)
Just curious, I want to find a solution to this because it seems to be very similar to what our users are seeing. -

Which way are you trying to update - iTunes or WiFi in the iPad settings? Try switching from one method to the other method. If you don't have a computer and need to use WiFi, try closing all apps and then reboot your iPad and try again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of all of the apps in the recents tray. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar when you are done.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
It wouldn't hurt to reboot your router either by unplugging it from power for about 30 seconds, plug it back in, let it fully start up and then try to update again. -

i put that i held down the home button and all that... sorry, should of made my message a little clearer hun.. but i did try that, ive been searching video's on the net trying to figure out how to fix the problem, but nothing seems to be working... ive just tried pluging the usb lead into my phone while holding the home button then connecting it to my computer to see if itunes fires up, but even that didnt work... i dont know what else to try.
