IPhone 5 keeps taking screenshots and trying to switch off. Any advice?
My iPhone 5 keeps taking screenshots and going onto the screen where you can swipe to turn off the phone. I have read online that this has been an issue with other iPhones, however I have failed to solve the problem. Any advice? (I have already tried to restart the phone several times)

If your Sleep/Wake (lock) button is unexpectedly taking screenshots, first try holding the button down until "Slide to power off" appears, and restart your iPhone:

If you are not able to restart, try to reset your iPhone by holding down the Home and Sleep/Wake button for at least ten seconds.
If the behavior continues or you can't reset your iPhone, back up and restore it next:

If the phone is offline there is no way to track it or send a message to it. You can place it in lost mode to lock it and send it a message (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmfc0f0165), but this will not take place until the phone goes back online, if it ever does. If it does, you will get an email informing you.

My daughter's ipod 4th gen (only 4 months old, bought direct from Apple) suddenly has a frozen white screen and will not turn off. We cannot reboot it by pushing and holding the two buttons, even when held up to one full minute. When we plug it into the computer, the computer does not recognise it nor does iTunes, so we can't even do a full system restore. Help! Any suggestions of how we can reset to factory settings without using iTunes please?

My iphone 3gs keeps going black and to a "thinking" icon
my iphone 3gs keeps going black and to a "thinking" icon and will do this for a long time and won't stop till I do a forced shut down. It's all sporatic as to when it does this. Plus it's adding pictures to contacts that don't normally have pictures and taking them away from ones who do have them. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have iOS 5.1.1 on it still b/c my iTunes won't download the newest verision of the iOS (yes I have the most recent iTunes on my laptop, yes I've tried multiple different times to download too) but I've heard others say not to put the newest iOS on the 3gs b/c it locks them up.
Try doing a reset on your iPhone,
Reset your iPhone by pressing the 'Sleep' and 'Home' button at the same time for about 15 seconds or so. Your iPhone will then go through a reset / reboot procedure and will be ready for use within about a minute.
Don't worry about doing this as you will not lose data or settings.

I m from south india, living at God's country called Kerala k. well , in that iphone it showing activation screen and trying to activate. not more than that..plz help!
means.. in simple words, it is trying to activate and all( searching wifi,, taking few minutes..again searching...if it couldnt find any wifi - telling .. try connect using itunes an all)...well any way. finally I try connect to a wifi network, with full speed...3mbps..from Ravi's internet cafe in downtown.

I try searching internet and all for solutn...but no one knw about it..but there are...some one me abt method called jailbreaking ..rednw..white snw ..ultrasnw and all...I dnt knw why it is so complicated to troublesht...apple is suppose to be simple and friendly.

In order to allow it to be used on a different carrier, the phone was hacked or jailbroken. An unauthorized modification was made to the phone. That modification has damaged the phone. You can not get support for it here or from Apple. -

Try restarting the phone
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost). -

My iphone 5 keeps shutting down and restarting. I have tried powering it completely off and reseting through itunes. I had to call someone back three times just to finish my 2 minute conversation. I have changed cords and charging cubes. I have install the updated software (which took many tries because it kept restarting. The screen freezes, then turns into crazy lines, then shuts down.

My iPhone 6 my Carrier is Verizon my iPhone 6 has been dropping calls I think it’s only when I’m home and also we have a cellphone booster aka Verizon Extender and it does connect to that also but when someone calls me it connects then drops right away and then I try right away to call them back and then the call goes though. I have tried a hard reset on my iPhone 6 I have tried just by turning on and off the airplane mode and I have tried resetting the network settings which I just did. I thought of maybe doing the part when you take your sim card out and put that back in but I have not done that yet! I don't know what to do if this keeps happing it is really annoying!
