Iphone 5 lock screen button unstable in comparison with the Iphone 4?
could somebody test this to their Iphone 5?
Use virtual power button. Settings App > General > Accessibility > Assistive Touch > ON > Device > Lock Screen. This can even turn iPhone OFF. To turn iPhone ON, connect to power, charger or USB of computer.

Lock screen button has stopped working on my IPhone 5 after weeks of use

Since you have had your iPhone under a year if you take it to a apple store and go to the genius bar they should replace your current iPhone with a brand new one for free.

If I try to sync my iPod with iTunes on my laptop, it won't let me - it says it is going to remove all the music on my ipod first!!! I just want it moved from my iPod to my (new to me) iPhone!

Will iPhone 4s parts work with the iPhone 4?
I recently bought a factory unlocked iPhone 4. The volume buttons and the lock button don’t work. The battery is also very swollen and runs hot. At the moment, this phone is stuck in the recovery mode loop. I also have an iPhone 4s. It’s locked so it’s of no use to me. Can the iPhone 4s’ volume buttons, lock button and battery work with the iPhone 4? I do not live in a country with Apple stores. Both phones are out of warranty. Help is much appreciated
I Have not seen or heard of such a keyboard. The iPad is not designed to accommodate a mouse, since there is no cursor to move as in traditional computer.

I used assistive touch to turn off my iphone, because my lock screen button is not working, so now i cant turn it back on! What i did was, i went to assistive touch, then i held down the lock screen button to turn it off. Now i can't turn it back on.
To turn it back on when you use assistive touch, all you have to do is plug your iphone into a charger and it will power back on

IIf the battery was completely drained it might take some time before the phone will respond. Wait at least 30 minutes with the phone connected to the charger. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the phone starts up let it continue to charge until it's 100%.
if the broken button will not let you do the reset Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -
I have a 4S and in the lock screen it is coming up with a screen (Not Enough Storage - This iphone cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storage available. You can manage your storage in settings) it then has option close or settings.....but i am unable to click on either or turn off the phone. I have plugged it into itunes on the computer and manually backed it up but i cannot use my phone as i cant get past this message

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it. -
My iphone 4s' screen is black, but it's still on and charging. I broke my lock screen button so I am unable to turn it off using the home button and lock button. Is there any other way my phone can restart or turn off ? Is my phone broken for sure?

Most intelligent people would not store such sensitive data on a device that could so easily be lost, stolen, or damaged. Even if they chose to do so, they would use the device as designed and regularly sync and backup that device as described in the User's Guide.
Have you done so? If you have, all of the data is either in iCloud or iTunes on your computer. Replace the device and restore the new iDevice with the backup of the old one. -

Can developers create apps with lock screen buttons?
Title pretty much says it all. Is it possible for developers to create apps that have lock screen buttons that appear with a home button double tap similar to the itunes control buttons? I've seen other apps tap into itunes media controls but can you create a custom version of that while leaving itunes controls enabled as well?
Based on your brief description of what you intend to do, yes --- can't.
I'm not sure how I could be any more specific without actually telling you what the app does. Basically can you make custom buttons in the lock screen appear in a similar fashion to the way the previous (<<), play (>), and next (>>) buttons appear when the home button is double tapped.
Also, not being in a paid program is going to significantly limit asking questions like this and understanding responses here, so...
Why is that? Its my understanding that paying the $99 means the app can actually go on the store and you can test it on a real device vs the emulator. The whole reason I was asking this question was to determine if an idea me and a buddy had was capable of being done before investing money in it. -

Without a working lock screen button, you'll probably have to wait for the battery to go dead. Once it doesn't wake up by pressing the home button you can plug it into a charger and it will eventually reboot.

End of last song on every album being cut off (about six seconds)
I've just realized that the last song on every one of my albums is about six seconds shorter than it should be. This really stinks because I now have about 145 songs that have the ends cut off. I think this is only a problem with the earlier version
