IPhone 5 Network Unavailable

I just recieved a new iPhone 5 yesterday from AT&T and it worked perfectly up until this morning. Once I left home, my phone went radio silent. It states I have "No service" up at the top, although my phone was activated and working properly until this morning. The WiFi works, and the LTE is very in & out. Whenever I attempt to make a call, it automatically says "Call Failed". When I try texting someone, it doesn't work...and when someone tries to text me, and automatic reply states that I have chosen to not accept text messages.
I have tried restoring my network settings, restoring my phone as new by erasing all data and settings, I have toggled the cellular data button, I have checked my restrictions, I have removed my SIM card several times, my phone is running on the most recent software update and of course turned my phone on and off multiple times.
I have completed all the Apple reccomended troubleshooting, as well as AT&Ts.
I'm at work all day, and don't have time to call Support. If ANYONE can provide any assistance, you will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I had just contacted AT&T Support chat online. They reset my signal and I was good to go.

  • IPHONE 5: can't receive calls & random error messages, such as "could not activate cellular data network" and "no connection - network unavailable, please connect to wifi or cellular network."  This occurs even when signal strength or wifi is operational.

    IPHONE 5:  can't receive calls and random error messages, such as "could not activate cellular data network" and "no connection - network unavailable, please connect to wifi or cellular network."  This occurs even when signal strength or wifi is operational, and it does not matter whether wifi is on or off.  ATT went through the standard protocol - resetting network, resetting sim card, etc.  No changes.  Other phones working fine in same region with same carrier.  Apple's solution is to restore software, but haven't gone there yet.  Anyone successfully addressed this/these issues?

    I should point out that it worked when the iPhone was set back to factory settings, but when restored with the backup, data/internet no longer works again, and I get the "Could not activate cellular data network" error message yet again.

    Attempting to connect my MacBook to my 4s iPhone.  I have had them connected in the past to use the "hands off" function. Today it tells me "network unavailable"  make sure network access is enabled.  I don't know what to do. I love the hands off feature as my iPhone is never with me when on my mac! I'm not sure what to do.  Both are "discoverable" via bluetooth and show up on each device but when I try to connect it says "network unavailable".  HELP!

    An iPhone will not pair via Bluetooth to a computer (Mac or Windows) except for personal hotspot and then only if your cellular plan supports it. https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-7722
    If you are attempting to use Handoff/Continuity, that does involve Bluetooth but the devices are NOT paired; Bluetooth just needs to be on and the devices in range of each other. The following may help with Handoff/Continuity issues: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5458

    On my Apple iphone I clicked on Settings -  then clicked Carrier -  then patiently clicked time and time again the 'Automatic' option until a tick mark appeared.  Now the ' Network Unavailable' message has disappeared.  Hope this helps someone else.

  • Bluetooth network unavailable

    Upgraded to iOS * and 10.9.5  Ipad or iPhone will not connect... Network unavailable...

    I spent a couple of hours dealing with this today. My carrier (in Canada) said it was Apple's fault. Apple support spent 30 minutes on the phone with me, trying to make it work instead of telling me it was impossible... then suggested the Apple Store would help me.
    If you are correct, and the BT connection is not possible... um, what is the point of having BT on the phone?

  • TS3694 Why can't I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1? Every time I try it gets all the way done downloading it; however when it's processing the file the page tells me "There is a problem downloading the software for the iPhone. Network connection timed out.

    Why can't I update my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1? Every time I try it gets all the way done downloading it; however when it's processing the file the page tells me "There is a problem downloading the software for the iPhone. Network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active. or try again later." and next to the file it has err = -3259. I have tried this 17 times and it won't work. My iTunes is completely up to date. I have made sure that my connection is fine and I have tried turning my firewall off with no avail. This has happened to me before but usually the update will go through after 2-3 tries, never to this extent. I don't know what to do. Help!

    Error -3259 is a network timeout error, usually. This article might help:

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
    Change the channel on your wireless router. Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
    Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

  • Adobe 9.3.4 won't uninstall-network unavailable-need msi file

    My OS is XP.  I've used Adobe Reader for years.  It was working just fine until about a month ago.  When I attempt to print from Primopdf,  I can get the screen that says "Create PDF"--once I click on it nothing happens. That happened a time or two before.  When I uninstalled & reinstalled the Primopdf program it took care of the problem.  (I can still create pdf files from scanned documents.)
    Next I uninstalled the Adobe Reader program, and installed the updated version, Adobe Reader 9.3.4.  That still didn't work.  Now Adobe Reader 9.3.4  won't uninstall. I get a message that says "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resouce that is unavailable."  I've checked in my 'Program files' to see if Adobe reader is there--I find a 90.3 MB Reader folder, (with several folders & files) indicating it does exist.  Though I see an AcroRd32.exe that shows its a 9.3.3.177 file. (So evidently I don't have the upgrade, but the previous version, right?)
    After the 'network unavailable' message appears, a prompt gives an option enter an alternate path to: AdbeRdr930.en.us.msi file.  If I had that file, would that solve my problem?  I've read complex instructions, and not sure how to obtain that file.  Is there some way I can obtain & download that file?
    I've run registry cleaner programs, the Advanced SystemCare Diagnositic program, etc.  I've read about forced program deletions--though not sure about that?  I downloaded the Microsoft Windows Installer Cleanup Utility--then it said was for Window 95/98--couldn't find for XP.
    OK computer gurus--what should I do, short of reinstalling my OS?  This is like 'gum on shoes' and it's really annoying.
    Thanks for some recommendations to hurdle this problem.

    Check the version of AcroRd32.dll - that should show you the 9.3.4 version.

    The Windows Installer Cleanup Utility (http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html) works on all Windows versions; you should be able to remove your current Reader with it.

    I've not tried it, but it should work - Personal hotspot wifi should use WPA2 Personal encryption and g or n speeds.

    Not sure if iPhone would work as a router to connect several devices eg computer via wifi to allow itunes content on computer to stream to appletv.
    I've used a mifi 3G device to accomplish this kind of thing in the past.

  • [Solved] netcfg Network Unavailable.

    Hi,
    When trying to connect to a wireless network with netcfg it always fails with 'Network Unavailable'. Everything used to work with network-manager under Gnome.  Lsmod says the iwl3945 module is loaded and iwconfig says;
    wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"@Home94004"
    Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point: Not-Associated
    Tx-Power=27 dBm
    Retry min limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr=2352 B
    Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
    Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
    Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0
    iwlist doesn't give any scan results but the XP laptop 10cm away can find the network. Network-manager also used to find the network.
    this is my profile;
    CONNECTION="wireless"
    INTERFACE=wlan0
    SCAN="yes"
    SECURITY="wpa"
    ESSID="@Home94004"
    KEY="*********"
    IP="dhcp"
    TIMEOUT=30
    I'd appreciate some pointers on what to check next.
    Thanks.

    I setup all of my emails. Gmail, Yahoo, Pop3 settings are all correct. Incoming, outgoing correct. I can check my emails all day on wifi...but when I switch over to Mobile data... my emails are unavailable. It says "Network Unavailable" at the bottom of the screen. Why? What do I do to fix this? I'm able to browse the internet on mobile, but emails nada. Once in a great while if I refresh my emails a half dozen times, it will finally load one but then it goes back to unavailable.
    Errors:
    Connection Error
    Network Unavailable
    Please help!

    Are you close to your data limit or something? Also if you go into your settings and scroll down to Accounts and Sync you can manually sync all your accounts and tell it what you want to sync and not to sync.
