IPhone 5 not woking, displays red iTunes logo with charging sign
Yesterday night all of a sudden my iPhone 5 stopped working at all by some means and is now displaying me a circled iTunes app logo in red color with a charging sign via data cable? What to do? How can I fix this?
Will my data will be safe?
Useful suggestions are most welcome…Please help me out…Please I need all of my data back its crucial...
This looks like a defective battery. If you can, visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Provider to get the battery checked. If you can't, contact Apple Support:

Recent photos may be in your Photo Stream or in your iCloud backup if you chose to enable those backups.
If you were only backing up through iTunes and didn't complete a backup recently, then your photos are gone.

I just got my new iphone 6 and it was on ios 8 and everything was working fine i guess, i decided to download ios 8.0.2 as it was a brand new phone and i wanted the newest software on it to fix all the bugs just incase i had them.
i started the update process from the phone, and before the update was complete, i'd say 80% or so along the way, the phone goes into recovery mode displaying a red itunes logo and the cable on the screen.i tried all the suggestions out there and even googled and youtubed to try and find a solution with no luck. even did a few searches on this forum as this is the place i usually come to get most of my answers.
here is what i did in attempts to fix this.
tryed restoring through itunes on both recovery mode and DFU mode, with both ios 8.0 and ios 8.0.2 files.
let itunes re-download the update file just incase i had gotten a bad copy the first time around, tried with that
used 3 different computers, 2 macs and 1 pc
switched usb ports
unplugged all other usb devices
updated itunes and OS
always kept getting the mysterious "unknown error 56" msg searched all over for what that could mean with no luck. the process always seems to stop at the same place, and the second i unplug the phone, it jumps right back into recovery mode with the red itunes logo. if i were in a place that had a genious bar i would've gone there.
i need help fixing this problem please also i'd like to report this error to apple, really wanna do my part to help by reporting at the very least, so also if someone could tell me how to go about doing that, this is just sooo frustrating
any help would be greatly appreciated.

G3S Phone was disconnected during upgrade the os 5. After a restart it Now shows a picture of the Itunes logo with a cable underneath.
How do I fix this problem?If you have a pass code lock on your phone try unlocking it prior to connecting it to your computer.

I've tried upgrading my iPhone 4S using iTunes 12.01.26 on 4 different computers at home and at the office:
Macbook Air - OS X version 10.7.5
Macbook Pro - OS X Yosemite
2 PCs running Windows 7 Professional
iTunes downloaded the installer and the installation process seemed to get 90% complete before showing the error, "The iPhone, "iPhone" could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (6)."
The phone is now stuck on the red iTunes logo screen:
How can I get it out of this mode?
I've tried holding the power button and home buttons down for ten seconds, then letting go of the power button, but keeping the home button down for another 10 seconds. I've also tried Reiboot, Wondershare Dr. Fone in desperation to try to get the phone out of this mode. Nothing seems to fix it.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.i do that but it keeps getting stuck on the 'preparing to restore i phone' screen for a few mins before coming up with 'unknown error 1603'.

When I conect my iPod touch to my iMac. The screen on the iPod touch displays the iTunes logo and a picture of a USB connector. The iPod touch seems to be frozen in this state. can anybody help with this problem?

Good day, please help do a manual reset on my iphone 4s. I was updating my itunes and all a sudden i discover the USB cord disconnected while updating which later show me itunes logo with the USB cord charger display since yesterday. Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow theadvanced iTunes Store troubleshooting steps to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information."
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.

Why after update Iso 5 by iPhone and not open, without using Itune. Just screen keep show apple logo for few hours already.
Try to reset - Press both the home and on/off buttons for at least 10 seconds until the Apple logo reappears.
