Iphone 5 random restart | now needs activation

Is anyone having trouble with their AT&T Iphone ? Last night, my phone randomly restarted, and is telling me to activate it using my iCloud login. Once you try to login, it tells you that the server is down. well it seems the server has been down for like 10 hrs now...not cool apple. When i plug my phone up to iTunes it says my software is out of date yet i am running iso 7...
Comments are greatly appreciated on how to resolve the problem.

SOLUTION FOUND
Confirmed Solution:
Download the 7.0.2 IPSW for your device.
Connect your device in iTunes.
Do an Option-Update.
Select your downloaded IPSW.
Your device will update to 7.0.2.
Re-enter your Mac credentials
Note, after updating to 7.0.2 you will be forced to update iTunes to 11.1.x to continue using your iPhone with iTunes.
I lost no text messages, phone numbers, emails, apps, bookmarks, photos, videos... all data was there.

IPhone 5 randomly restarts

My iPhone 5 randomly shuts down (spinning gear) and when I restart it, the battery charge drops from around 40% to 0%. I noticed that if I plug the phone into a charger the battery charge previously on the phone will re-appear. I'm on IOS 7

Try Restoring it in iTunes. If that does not work you will probably need to get it serviced.

Why is my iPhone 3GS randomly restarting?

So I bought and iPhone 3GS and about twenty days into owning it, the phone would randomly start restarting itself over and over again. It would only be on for a short period of time and would not let me make calls, recieve texts, or do onything during this time. I tried recharging it and plugging it into my computer, but nothing worked. I returned it for a new one...
BUT now it's doing the same thing and I've only had it for a week. What's causing this?

As far as my experience restoring does not help much because it will start rebooting again after few days or few weeks. As I have tried that.
If you have do not have data plan on that phone and you have turned it off in network setting then fix is simple.
1. Go to settings
2. network
3. enable Data and 3g.
4. try making calls and wait and see if it turn off or not.
5. If this work you can turn off data but keep 3g on.
I am positive this should work.

I have never had an issue with my phone before, nor have I had anything done to it like replacements.. ill be in a program or a message and it restarts (about once a week now it occurs)....
Would their be a problem or a glitch or anyway of fixing it? I charge my phone every night so it doesnt restart because it's dead...

I've heard of this happening a couple friends who had the iPhone 4. I think it might possibly be a hardware problem which occurs over time with these devices.

Thanks Michael. Guess I'm stuck for now then. Can't use my iphone 5 sim (which is on the same carrier), as that's a nano sim and I don't have an adaptor, so have purchased one today. Unfortunately am out of town, so nobody I can borrow a sim from for now. Shame, as I've been happiy using my old phone for over a year to game on wifi without a problem. Wish I'd known this before attempting to upgrade the ios!

Go ahead and set it up, then you can restore from iCloud backup, or connect to iTunes and restore from your latest backup.

The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.
