My iphone 5 is suddenly stopped working.I tried all the steps in on the website.

Have you created a backup recently?  If its not powering on at all then we might need to try and get it into recovery mode and restore the phone.  However if you don't have a back up you will lose all your data.  But this might be our only option since it wont power up..
    1. Connect one end of your use charger to the computer, but do not plug the phone in yet
    2. Press and hold the Home Button and plug the phone into the computer.  Keep holding the Home Button till you see "Connect to iTunes"

  • IPhone 5 speaker suddenly stopped working... I have done Reset all settings, but still not working...

I have been using iPhone 5 for 2months. There wasn't any problem. But today my phone's speaker suddenly stopped working. Earphone and ear speaker is working normally. I have done reset all settings. But there is no change, still not working.
I think it happened after i plugged into computer by USB cable, and plugged of. Then it stopped working.
Also it had became unresponsive few times before, when i plug into computer.
    What should i do now?

but can you hear sounds with the earphones on? I guess the only solution to fix this prob is to send my i5 to a nearby Apple and let them check what should be done. anyways can you keep me posted about the status of your iphone 5? :)

  • Syncing between iBooks on iPhone and iPad suddenly stopped working.

Have been using iBooks regularly between my 2 devices and has been flawlessly syncing bookmarks and pages correctly. Just finished one book which had no issues at all. Purchased another and sync seems to have stopped working completely. Really annoying and quite ironic that the book that seems to have broken the system is the Jony Ive biography. I have tried downloading the book and also reinstalling the app but doesn't seem to come back to life.

accidently found out how to sync the library:
drag and drop an ebook (that you haven't purchased in the ibooks store) from finder into iBooks on your Mac
open up iTunes and connect your iPhone or iPad - you should now see the "books" tab again next to apps, music etc...
in the "books" section, choose "sync books" and "all books"
press the sync button (lower right corner - don't know what its called in the english version) - your iBooks on the Mac should now be copied over to your idevice and vice versa. all the stuff that was on your iPad before should now also show up in iBooks on your Mac (including PDFs )
this will at least keep your library synced on all devices, I think this won't sync bookmarks and notes though
hope this helps a little bit

  • HT1688 my iphone 5 speaker suddenly stopped working. how do I fix it?

I was playing a game, pressed the home button, then pressed the lock screen button, then I realized it didn't make the "click" noise. after a couple more tries. I've come to conclusion that my speaker stopped working. Do i need to take it a apple store to fix it or can I do it my self. the earphone port works just fine.

Might sound stupid but this worked for me. Suck in with your mouth on the speaker and test the sound

  • IPhones WiFi Connection Suddenly Stopped Working

Woke up this morning and my iPhone is failing to connect to my home WiFi network (Uverse through a 2WIRE 3800HGV-B router, WPA Personal security). My Macbook and my wife's iPhone are still connecting without any problems, so I know the network is good. I've tried reentering the password; rebooting the iPhone; and turning WiFi off, forgetting the network and building the connection anew, but no dice. I also made sure the iPhone's software was up to date (it was). Haven't had a chance to try any other WiFi networks yet.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Nate

Tried #1; didn't work. As for #2, since I synced after this began, wouldn't that just restore that last backup and thus be ineffective? And for #3, what's the best way to do so and then restore everything I want to keep (accounts, pics, etc)? (I don't want to try any of these more drastic measures before having a chance to see if the iPhone connects to other known networks, hopefully Monday or Tuesday I'll be near some).
As for the router/MAC thing, this iPhone has worked on this network without problem for five months, since I first set it up. There have been no changes to any part of the configuration.
    Thanks,
    Nate

  • Iphone 5 volume suddenly stops working?

    Hi Guys,
I've been using my new iphone 5 for around a week now and suddenly just out the blue the sound has dissappeared!! No music, no ringtone and no message or email tone. No sound at all!!! I tried a factory settings restore through itunes but to no avail. Anyone had the same issues at all? I would appreciate some feedback. Maybe someone has a solution? The last thing i want to do is send my phone to apple after a weeks use! Thanks in advance.

If it is under warranty and Apple finds it is defective then they will either repair it or replace it with a certified refurbished phone.

  • IPhone iTunes synching suddenly stopped working

My iPhone (original) and iTunes (Macbook Air, 10.6.2) no longer syncs. When I connect the iPhone it shows up in iTunes, synching will start, but then the iPhone will just disappear from iTunes after a short time (less than a minute). The iPhone continues to say 'sync in progress' but iTunes shows nothing. Here is what I tried
Install new version of iTunes. Restart computer. Shut down iPhone. Reset iPhone. Different cable.
Nothing has helped. So, Help! please.

I went to the Apple store, and they confirmed my suspicion that it was the connector. Tried to clean it, but to no avail. So, I bought an iPhone 3GS. To repair my phone would have cost the same as the iPhone 3gs. It seems wrong to reward a company when their product breaks, but once you have an iPhone you are so locked into apple's universe that is hard to change to android or palm. Anyway I have been thinking of upgrading for some time.

  • HT4061 My iPhone5 suddenly stop working, what can I do to resolve the issue?

I don't know what to do my Iphone 5 just suddenly stop working, wont turn or anything.

    Hi The Great One 365,
If your having an issue where your iPhone 5 won't turn on at all, I would take a look at the Power/Battery troubleshooting in the following article:
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2802
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 15 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
    Regards,
    - Brenden

  • Notification center suddenly stop working

My iphone notification center suddenly stop working, it happen twice already. I tried pull down the bar and it doesnt happen.
Restart is one way fixed but is there any reason why it happen?

Okay so spent time with Apple support here are the findings:
-Mail has to be opened for notifications center to work
-If a sender was reported as spam notification won't pull-up even if you change the rules to avoid that(ongoing investigation with Apple)
-Twitter notifications will only work with people you follow so if someone that doesn't follow you sends you a tweet won't pop-up. This goes against the purpose of Twitter where you want to know who tag you in their tweets... Hopefully Apple can fix this behavior.

  • Outlook to iPhone sync failure – Sync suddenly stopped working for calendar events but continued for contacts and notes.   Finally Fixed!!!  SUPPORT TEAM – PLEASE SEE THIS – Complete explanation of cause and correction steps.

The issue:  Outlook to iPhone sync failure – Sync suddenly stopped working for calendar events but continued for contacts and notes.   Finally Fixed!!!
SUPPORT TEAM – PLEASE SEE THIS – Complete explanation of cause and correction steps.
The cause:  It is now clear what caused this problem.  For years I had several “all-day” events in my Outlook calendar (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.).  In May 2012 I decided to make some of them one hour  events so I could add alerts to remind me of the event.  I did this by dragging them in Outlook to the time I wanted and expanding them to the time slot desired and then adding the alarm.
The symptom:  Syncing stopped working for the calendar but continued working for contacts and notes.  I didn’t realize sync was failing until months later when I missed two very important phone calls, so when I noticed it the cause was not obvious.
The failed attempts:  I’m head of a software firm and my calendar sync is a crucial to my business life so I took this on with a vengeance.  From a quick look at events in Outlook and the iPhone I could see that the problem started in May 2012.  Events before May were in both Outlook and the iPhone but events after May were only one or the other.  Unfortunately I had changed several other things at the same time relating to other events so again the cause was not obvious.  MANY calls with AppleCare proved them incompetent so my internal IT guys assisted trying many things.  We tried a huge number of calendar changes and several versions of iTunes, iPhone OS and Office as well as both iPhone 4 and 5, all without success.
The fix:  After 18 months of frustration, MANY  hundreds of $ expense and MANY hours of wasted time I saw a blog that had a calendar sync  problem and it indicated all day events were related.  I changed the display of the Outlook calendar to the list view, added columns so I could see “all day” event check marks as well as times of events,  sorted on the “all day” event column to move them to the top, and for all events that were “all day” events AND had a start and end time, I removed recurrence and then added the annual recurrence back…
After I fixed all events that had BOTH “all day” set and had a start/end time, I tried another sync.  It synced for the first time in 18 months!
Problem occurred May 2012 – fixed Nov 2013

Hi, to remove dummy '_ModGrp' entries, rather than crashing the 'Suppr' key on your keyboard, you can use this basic VBA macro (launched for instance from Excel).
It will recursively remove all '_ModGrp...' folders
    Sub RemoveFolders_Click()
        Dim oOutlook As Outlook.Application
        Set oOutlook = New Outlook.Application
        Set objNameSpace = oOutlook.GetNamespace("MAPI")
        Call CleanFolders(objNameSpace.Folders)
    End Sub
    Sub CleanFolders(objFolders As Outlook.Folders)
        For i = objFolders.Count To 1 Step -1
            If Left(objFolders(i).Name, 7) = "_ModGrp" Then
                objFolders.Remove( i )
            Else
If Not objFolders(i).Folders Is Nothing Then
                    Call CleanFolders(objFolders(i).Folders)
                End If
            End If
        Next i
    End Sub

  • My iPhone 4s has suddenly stopped making a noise to tell me new emails have arrived, this was after an ugrade to IOS 7.1.2. It worked fine before and I didnt change anything but it just stopped dinging. I have checked Settings-Sounds

My iPhone 4s has suddenly stopped making a noise to tell me new emails have arrived, this was after an ugrade to IOS 7.1.2.
It worked fine before and I didnt change anything but it just stopped dinging when I got a new email.
I have checked Settings-Sounds & Settings-Notification Centre and everything looks fine.
It worked ok a couple of weeks ago but not after the latest update - anyone know why?

    Thanks Lawrence
I omitted to say that it only occurs when the screen is locked - if I'm looking at something on my phone when an sms or email arrives, the phone 'notifies' me with a sound but doesnt do it when its screen is locked. Email messages and sms's (texts) still arrive but I get no sound to tell me they have.
The MUTE swith is in the correct place and I have tried resetting the phone with the Home and Sleep buttons several times, still to no avail.
I have noticed on the forums that many people are suffering or have suffered the same problem but Apple are never forthcoming, of course,
