Iphone 5 says no service even if sim installed or not installed please help
My iphone 5 running ios 8.1 says no service even if sim is installed or not installed. normally iphones say no sim when sim tray is out or empty but it says no service.I ve tried to reset network settings put on airplane mode but still the problem persists please help
In order until the problem is resolved:
Remove the current sim, clean the contacts, re-install the sim.
Take the iPhone to your wireless provider to get a new sim installed.
Take the iPhone to a physical Apple store for evaluation. Make a Genius
Bar appointment beforehand to avoid delay.
Make a Genius Bar Reservation

[email protected]Both parties must be connected to wifi to use FaceTime (and you must have FaceTime turned on in Settings>Facetime). If you're phone shows 3G at the top when it's on, you're not connect to wifi; you'll have to solve that problem first.

Well its all prety much in the heading, itunes is unabe to update and iphone 4 wont be recognised, but it cmes up in 'computer'? please help, i have tried some things off the apple support page and googe search but hasnt helped. andi have loads of new beats ready to put on!
yer i do, its say 'errors occured while downloading the updates. If the problem persists, choose tools> Download only and try installing manually.
i have tried installing he files as it says above but then it doesnt work and says this:
the installer encountered errors before configuration. your system has not been modified. to retry these operations at a later time , please run the installer again.

I tried resetting the network settings still no fixes, also done a hard reboot. Still no fix :\
BTW carrier is T-Mobile UK (Phone is factory unlocked from Apple store) -

Thank you for the helpIf iTunes is reporting the backup is corrupt, there isn't anything you can do about that, except to delete that backup and try to create a new one before you attempt your restore. If that is not possible, then you will have to set the phone up as new and re-sync your data.

I bourgh the iphone 4 in apple store UK. When I buy they said its already unlock. I came to my country and try to use diffrent SIM card but its saying 'No Services'. How can I unlock my phone Please? If anyone know UK tec support email ID please let me know????

all others will be locked to a carrier (did you buy from carphonewarehouse )
Only the carrier who locked it can unlock the iPhone

If you purchased from Apple (the Apple ) then contact the store

That is a carrier feature, you would need to contact your cell phone provider.

My Iphone 4 says "No Service" I've sleep and away, rebooted, restarted network setting, taken the sim card out.. what else can I do? or do you think it is a hardware issue and I have to go to apple?
It very well could be a problem with your carrier. But try turning the phone off and on and even take out the sim card. Then put the sim card back in and power it up again.

Remove and reinsert the SIM.
Replace the SIM.

Kilted Tim is correct, did you plug it in to iTunes to complete the process? I assumed you would have done so, but I shouldn't have assumed.
