Hi,
I have an Iphone 5 i was letting a family member use my phone for taking notes in a class and set restrictions so that's all they could do.
Now I have my device back but, to my horror I'd forgotten the code I'd used.
Please help me recover this at any costs!

If you have set up an Exchange account on your phone, the administrators can lock out cameras via policies on the Exchange server.
If that's the case, talk to your IT department about whether there are any exceptions to the policy, live with the restriction, or delete the account from the phone.

iphones purchased in some middle eastern countries won't have facetime has it has been banned by the government.
Go to settings - general - about - model do you see AE in there, if so you won't have facetime.

Sorry, unless she backup up the new phone before or is using iCloud to save the photos, the photos are gone.

My cellular provider is mtc touch in Lebanon middle east . As for the FaceTime issue it's banned in some countries not all not in lebanon at least but since my phone is from the UAE I don't have FaceTime on it.

I'm trying to set up Home Sharing on my iPhone 4. The instructions say = "On your iPhone, tap Settings > iPod". Why would a setting for iPod be on my iPhone? If it should be there, I can't find it. I'm totally confused and frustrated with trying to set up Home Sharing. Would appreciate some help please.

On iOS 5/5.0.1/5.1 it will appear as Music instead of iPod, as Music and Vidoes now have separate applications.
So Settings > Music now.

Why isn't there an option for me to have my iPhone language settings in Welsh?

As a Welsh speaker I would prefer my iPhone language settings to be in Welsh. It would make it easier for me to message people if I was reading everything in my first (and primary speaking) language.

First backup the old phone to iTunes using right mouse click then backup after that restore from backup on the new device .

Good question. No, you do not.
The only reason you would need the "Find My iPhone" app on your iPhone would be to find a different iPhone (or iPad) on this particular iPhone.
Right now, with no additional app on your iPhone, if lost, you could find it from a computer or other device by simply logging into iCloud using your Apple ID and password.

Of course the GPS location feature will need to be on in order for this to work. But the idea here would be to optimize battery life by disabling the 'call home' requests of apps. The settings profile should also support downloads as I would like to download and allow it when I am on WiFi but not so much when I am using my cellular data.

No, this is not possible as the sandboxed nature of iOS would not allow any app to modify another app like that. Such a feature would have to be enabled by Apple as a part of iOS itself. You can submit feedback to Apple about the idea if you wish to.

On my iPhone 4s settings I can not access iCloud

on my iPhone 4s settings I can not access iCloud (and not Face Time settings either). All the time I get an error message saying I have not acceptet the new iCloud "roules" (text about use from Apple) and I get two option; show ("vis" in Norwegian) or don't show. If I press show/"vis" the settings app will start at once but I can still not accsess the iCloud settings to accept whatever text needs to be accepted and I am just as far as I was stating out. Suggestions?
As long as this exists my phone will not make a copy/security uppload to iCloud.

In the meantime, you can always manually back up to your computer using iTunes by connecting your phone to your computer, opening iTunes, clicking on the name of your phone in iTunes, then going to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and clicking Back Up Now.

Restored my New iPhone 5 with iPhone 4 settings

Got a new iPhone 5 ... didn't want to loose contacts ETC, so when asked about RESTORE I let it restore my iPhone 4 settings to the new phone ...I think it thinks it's a 4 now ... It DID give me my contacts, notes, and all my apps, and everything else but the screen only has 4 rows instead of the 5 that are supposed to be on there ...

Disrefard, I found the way to reset it in settings, and all is well ...

If you have 2-step verification set up for your gmail account, you will need to generate an application-specific password for your iphone applications (because those apps apparently don't support 2-step verification).
Go into your google account, look in accounts/security/2-step verification, there is a link called "Manage your application specific passwords" Use that to generate a special password for your iphone apps and use that instead of your usual gmail password on your phone.
