Should I use my imac or Verizon to set up mu new iphone 5?

I set my two iPhone 5s up using Wi-Fi. But the info below probably applies to setting up the iPhone on your iMac.
The one thing I didn't know was that after doing the setup and trying to make a call I would be directed to a Verizon phone that had a message about activation. Wait until after the Spanish is finished then follow the prompts to enter your new iPhones number and agree to the Verizon terms of service. Once you complete that your phone wpshould begin to work normally.
Setting up by connecting with your iMac allows you to add your music, photos and any apps that might have been purchased for a previoulsy owned device.

Have you set up iCloud on all 3 devices and turned on Notes syncing? On the Mac: Apple Menu > System Preferences > iCloud and put a check mark beside Notes. On the other two, Settings > iCloud and turn Notes on. More info on iCloud setup: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/

Exchange accounts sync without any 3rd party assistance, just put the same account on all devices (ipad/phone and Mac)

iPods, iPhones, and iPads aren't tied to one particular iTunes accout/Apple ID. So there are no special instructions to follow to allow you to sync it with your newer account. Simply sync it as you would your iPhone 4.

Physically they are the same. The CDMA radio is disabled in the AT&T phone. The Verizon iPhone 4S, even with the SIM slot unlocked by Verizon, can never use any US network other than Verizon.

Verizon's network does not use SIM cards for 3G phones. If it's unlocked you'll need to call Verizon and have them put the ESN for your iPhone on your line manually

On October 13th I went to an independent Verizon store and ordered an iphone 6 in space gray for 64 gb. The young man at the store didn't provide much service (distracted by a football game) but he was able to order me a new iphone. He said the phones have been arriving earlier than their shipment date then told me that my phone wouldn't be shipped until the 14th of November! I went through with the process as he was adamant that I would have my phone the 1st week of november. I haven't had any update about my phone from verizon and am wondering if anyone else is having a hold up with an Iphone 6 from verizon.
If you have received your phone how long did it take if you ordered it in early october?

I ordered my iPhone 6 64GB Gold about a week after you (October 21). The expected shipping date was originally 11/7/14 but to my excitement, I received an email today saying it would probably be here by the 7th! I was given about a 2.5 week period of waiting but it's definitely worth it I would say. Unfortunately, Verizon doesn't give you much to work with in terms of tracking where your order is until it is actually shipped out.

I know the basic steps, but all I get is pairing unsuccessful. I'm using an older bluetooth, would that make a difference? I got connected once with a Motorola bluetooth, but can't reconnect. TIA!
